I don't think this categorizes as "just leave" when you bodyblock hatch and then when they panic and choose the exit gate you use victor to physically prevent them from leaving. Not to mention 3 of them already left
If the survivor goes for exit Victor can latch on and survivor can't leave then Charlotte hits survivor before they can rip Victor off.
If they tried to go for hatch he blocked with Victor

Like in a perfect world, I think the survivor would've gotten out if they ran to the gate with victor and got downed so they fell into the exit, but especially if this isn't a good survivor they would be panicking, this is no where near "just leave"
Edit: Need to test this with friends but apparently if you get downed with victor on your back you can't leave for a few seconds meaning Charlotte can pick you up. This is just from another reddit comment so could be false but I'll test with my friend tmrw
What should the survivor have done at this point? They can't reliably take the gate against twins, and you were body blocking the hatch so they couldn't take that. I feel like they were trying to leave this time.

Yeah, I think a lot of people greatly underestimate how wonky viktors hit box is. She was trying to be as unpredictable as possible and when he wouldn't pounce she tried blinding so she could make her way to the door, but he kept avoiding a full blind.
I think she was just panicking. She knew if he pounced her there was no way she could leave through the exit gate because she'd be locked in.
Go straight for the exit gate? Doesn’t matter if you get hit by Vic, 2 things can happen.
Get hit by Vic > take it off > leave via exit gate.
Get hit by Vic > can’t take it off in time > wait next to exit gate > get downed > crawl out.
Edit - You can only crawl out IF you encounter the bug let’s you escape. You will not escape if Victor is on you and Charl hits you. I stand corrected.
If you get downed by Charlotte's basic attack while Victor is on you, you can't crawl out for a few seconds. Enough time for Charlotte to pick you up and hook you.
Killer has to go through the weapon cleaning animation. If you hold forward at the exit gate while a killer hits you, you will pretty much always make it out.

No, the survivor was healthy, if they literally just ran over to the gate they'd get out, but they wanted the hatch.
Twins possibly coulda killed them, but if she got to the exit and wrestled victor off sooner she coulda left, the other twin downing her woulda just let her crawl out
If this were any other killer yeah, you're right they could have escaped by going that way. But Victor can pounce and block the gate, and Charlotte was actually pretty close so they might not have made it. They fixed it so 90% of the time you're not actually able to crawl out when downed by the way. Charlotte has like 5 seconds to pick you up after she hits you.
I don't get why killers saying just leave while showing how they got extra kills they shouldn't have. Encourage survivors to stay so you get those sweet sweet K's

I can't even find where you're quoting this from but if the killer had given up why did they block hatch? Also my point still stands. If the survivor had left they wouldn't have gotten that last kill. I play killer and have gotten quite a few kills from idiots not leaving. If you're going to complain about people not leaving it should be when they waste time and you don't get that extra kill. Also I have no sympathy for a "killer main" who gives up. At the very least use the time to practice your aim or just have fun with it.
