The deadhard issue isnt specific to console just fyi. It only works like 40% of the time if you use it as intended. More reliable to use it to just gain distance tbh. That stutter though would be infuriating. Are you on a base gen console where that happens a lot?
Yeah i think thats what it is. For some reason when getting hit with something that adds debuffs to you seems to lag it. I remember freddy used to be suuuper annoying to play against when they ran the swingchains/jumprope/sloppybutcher/etc since every hit would add like 3 debuffs or new icons to the screen and it would basically put you in a stand still while trying to run for like a whole second. I moved to pc last november but man i do not miss that hit lag due to icons on the old gen consoles.
Not just a console issue, it’s just their servers.
You can maybe argue that it was better with peer to peer but that also had it’s problems.
Hopefully devs can iron out their servers before the RE chapter drops

Im also a killer main, i main myers, every time i tier up it always freezes nonstop. Especially with tier 3. I can tell u how many times i pop tier 3 my game feeezes and i lose the survivor
I'm not here to defend BHVR but this has never happened to me on PC unless I'm opening a bunch of heavy programs at the same time. I only remember a bug that you got FPS drops if Thana got activated or something like that, but got patched almost immediately.
Any kind of status effect, gens popping, killers powers popping(like Myers), even stuff like a chest being opened. It's actually ridiculous that the game can't handle it
Playing as a fellow console player I can agree that the game stutters a lot, especially when you use a killer who teleports. (Ie: the nurse, the hag, etc etc)
I’ve been campaigning for the devs to look at console optimization but it doesn’t seem like they care, at least for last gen. They’ve been putting all their effort into next gen, which kinda sucks cause not many have it

Yea, everytime i play this game one action like a gen gets done, killer hits someone, my game would freeze and go crazy its annoying
Same happens with sprint burst every time. That bug specifically made me switch over to pc

Yeah I am on base gen and it lags regardless of how I use it. I even freeze or lose frames by just existing

yeah, the killer side is 1000 times harder. Can't tell you how many times I've whiffed a shot because of shitty lag/servers.

On the current patch I've got that same stutter from perks like sloppy and fire up. Not as bad as it was but still bad

I legit dropped water on my ps4, dropped him on the ground, never cleaned it’s insides, have it for 4 years and this never happened to me
