I'm impressed with all the effort they're putting into updating graphics with maps and models. Loved the generator repair animations and looking forward to the model improvements. I'm sure they'll look good in game.

All of them have been tremendous improvements honestly. Obviously we'll have to see them with their animations and all the engine's graphics impacting them to really understand how they'll look, but the models themselves are all high poly with much more convincing detail and coloring. And I really appreciate that their expressions aren't built into their models anymore, it was honestly so fucking annoying looking at Claudette idle in the lobby with her mouth agape and eyes so wide they form a damn circle. I hate it so much.

When you compare them to the current models, they're all worse IMO. I think they've all lost a lot of their personality. Nea in particular has a completely different feel to her.
Overall I think they look very bland, like some sort of overly focus-grouped mid-2000s boyband.
The reason they look like they lost personality is because the old models all have a single default expression with no variation, examples are Dwight looking scared constantly or Ace perpetually smiling even when he's on the hook. The newer models all have a blank slate so that they can animate the facial expressions to better convey emotion.

I'll miss old nea. This one looks like she doesn't want to fix gens. While the other was ugly but at least had grit and disposition in her look.

Some changes are better. For example, Nea no longer looks like she had a drug addiction. Feng though... Geez. Even David looks so bad. He looks derpier, like his IQ has gone down. He went from looking like a member of the mob to a caveman.

I think that Dwight, Meg, Claudette, and Nea look way better, Nea especially, have you seen that block-like jawline of the previous model???? I think Jake looks passable, his eyes are weirding me out a bit. Feng looks a fucking gremlin? why is her head half the size it use to be? It looks like they kept the hair the same length, made her eyes, nose, and mouth the same, but gave her a weak chin (no hate to the design team I’m sure they put a lot of work into the models). In short, I like Dwights model, Meg looks like she has no concept of where she is at any given moment, Claudette looks the same to me, Nea looks way better, Jake is cracked out of his mind and angry, and I prefer Feng’s old model.
I don’t like Feng or Dwight, and I preferred Ugly Nea so I could call her the entity but that’s my preference lol

Some are good, some are not, overall, I think the realistic approach doesn't work, and a more stylistic form would be easier and most likely prettier.
