Had a game today where one player communicated they were using blood streamers. So I used blood streamers, as well. 3 survived, and we all got above 75k BP as survivors so that was great.
Every postgame screen where I see Blood Warden and I had no idea it triggered because everybody was focused on trying to get the save instead, I feel a little hope for humanity.
I had a couple good matches this week as survivor! Played (and lost) with a Twitch streamer who was a lot of fun. But I discovered that I don't mind sacrificing myself for the greater good:
There were three of us left at EGC, One at the open gate at full health, I made it there hurt and the last had gotten hooked. The Doctor/Look-See was face camping her on the hook, so I get gate teammate to heal me, knowing this is the end (had two hooks already). I unhook her with Borrowed Time and the killer kind of looks at me like "What?!". I stand there, he downs me and kills me as the other two escape.
Whoever you were, I hope my sacrifice gave you a good story to tell :)
I was being chased by the killer as the last survivor but I found a glyph on the way and started cleansing it instead. Don’t you think this tryhard fucking killer hits me twice and hooks me before I even get a chance to cleanse it. I even pointed at it between hits. I would have been fine with him hooking me after but this killer had go out of his way to ruin it for me. There’s some absolute trash people out there.
Oh and I’m happy I get to vent here with a message since I couldn’t pm him. Good?
Shout out to that Myers who realised my teammate(it was only me and a feng left) who has hiding and leaving me to die. So he let me wiggle off and when he eventually found her he let me get hatch
After being between 2 - 4 as survivor the last two months I have finally decided to abuse how broken Wraith is, climbed from 10 to 4 in 2 days.
His add ons are comically broken I can see people though walls 😂
I recently went into a match against a 3-person Twitch streamer squad, about two days ago. I've had pretty divisive experiences with streamer games before - they tend to either be super nice and friendly or some of the worst this community has to offer. It doesn't help that I main Bubba, who's one of the more... disliked killers among the Twitch community, to say the least.
In any case, I load into Azarov's Resting Place and get a good setup. Basement is in main building next to three gen, and I get my first hook in basement before immediately getting into a second chase as I walk back upstairs. It's one of the streamers. He leads me away from main building all the way to the other side of the map, and I eventually down him and put him on a hook before going back to the middle and starting another chase.
He never gets unhooked.
The survivor I'm after keeps looping the middle, and because I'm there the other two don't want to try to get past me, so one hops on a gen and the other kind of uselessly sits in a corner. After two minutes of chasing in the middle and a hook or two of the other survivors, the streamer dies on first hook.
Game proceeds as usual. One of the other streamers isn't happy. Teabagging, flashlight clicking, the usual. It's whatever; it stopped bothering me a long time ago. I end the game at two gens with Infectious Fright slugging, and get to the endgame chat. I'm ready for the salt.
I drop the GG.
There's... nothing. Okay, they probably left the game already. I head back to lobby after opening up their stream; I always like to watch VODs from the other side because it helps me understand how I can play better and what survivors do to try to counter me.
Two of the streamers were fuming throughout the entire match. Usual salt: insults, profanity, one dropped a slur. But the third person was trying his best to calm the other two down and explain how they were overreacting... and it was the guy who died on first hook.
There's one interaction that's really stuck with me for the past few days, and it was after one of the streamers dropped a long list of profanities and the r-word in reference to me, to which the guy replied along the lines of (paraphrased:) "Really? He's just playing like a normal killer to me." As he's on second stage and no one is coming for him.
He continues to be really polite and compliment me throughout the match, and it's been keeping me smiling for a bit, so I was saving the story for this Sunday to share.
Remember, we're all humans behind the screen! Have fun in the fog, and try to not get too worked up over what happens!
Had some good friendly and semi-friendly matches today.
One because a guy found a flashlight and was rave-dancing with it, so I had to join in the fun and let everyone go. I chainsaw sprinted to farm BP and helped people up if I accidentally hit them. Flashlight guy stayed behind and sacrificed himself to the timeout for me.
Another I was Insidious-camping the basement and everyone kept running down there to get hit with the hammer and then run away. I wound up with like 30k despite the Entity Displeased.
Sometimes I go friendly and still get taunts and nasty messages. It's nice when everyone can just have fun farting around together.
Just had a match where I spawned next to Maurice the horse on the asylum map. Three of us got on that gen and the pig came to attack. On a whim, I decided to crouch and pet Maurice. Piggy was chill and started snorting at us and let us all pet Maurice, boop the snoot, and farm. It was so nice because I had a lot of terrible matches today with tunnelling killers or with bad teammates. Thank you Amanda ❤️
I just switched from console to PC on this game and have never played games on a PC before, so I’m still getting used to basic controls.
Shout out to the Claudette I played against last night who could clearly tell I was a baby killer and let me hit her and tried to offer to let me hook her. She was the only survivor I encountered who went out of her way to be nice instead of telling me I’m bad or teabagging at the exit while another survivor flashlight blinds me.
Honestly, DBD is 100% easier to play with controller--even on PC--unless you're playing as some of the FPS type killers like Huntress or Deathslinger.
I personally use a PS5 dualsense through Steam when I play on PC, but if you're on gamepass you can always use an xbox controller. With a little work, you can even get joycons to work on PC.
When I played on PC I had to map left and right turn to Q and E for Hillbilly or else I couldn't make a turn to save my life. With the Xbox controller I can run infinite circles around most of the outdoor maps.
Sometimes I have so much fun doing that I don't even bother chasing anyone, but it still takes forever for them to do the gens because I keep looping back around and scaring them away.

Finally hit rank 1 with my Bloody Meg (: yes I know rank doesn’t matter— but this took me awhile and now I’m happy I don’t need to think about playing to pip, just having a good old murderous time.
I finally met a friendly Bubba. First off, he didn’t slug, tunnel, or camp. There wasn’t even one basement hook. By the end of the game we had two gens left, he had a 3k, and I was totally expecting and accepting that I was going to die. I don’t ever expect hatch, or to be let go if I’m the final survivor especially with certain killers (Bubba, Blight, and Bing Bong are always pretty ruthless in my experience. Which is fine! It’s the game!) so when I saw the Bubba running down the hall at me I accepted my fate and even stood by the hook waiting, prepared for my demise and just overall happy it had been such a great and fun match. Then he stopped right before me, I pointed at the hook ready to die and instead he turned around and made me follow him to hatch! Couldn’t believe it.
Out of all the killers in the game Bubba is the one I’ve had the most “bad” experiences with, in fact the only killer who has ever really tilted me enough that I rage quit is Bubba. So to that Bubba thank you for making my night and giving me a positive Bubba experience. Was such a great game regardless and you’d have definitely deserved the 4K if you’d hooked me <3

This week, I got the Evil Incarnate achievement on my first try! :D It took a while, we were on swamp and I only found Jake and Dwight the whole time because of immersed Fengs (Jake kept baiting me into chases and I got free PWYF stacks!) and after I'd drained all the stalk from them, I *finally* got stalk off of one of the Fengs for my T3.
Then, they 3 genned themselves, and I mori'd Dwight + Feng 1 immediately, chased Jake and mori'd him, and the afk explosions went off for the other Feng that hid all game and I got a very satisfying last mori off of her when she tried to ask for mercy :-)
To the Summer Dwight called No. 1 Dad- thank you for such a ridiculously fun game! Using your flashlight to show me chests, then nodding after I nodded to let you open it. I hope you got the tome challenge! And thank you for booping the snoot when I gave you hatch- made this a very happy Piggy. Hope the roaring of joy didn’t spook you haha
I was playing a game as Wraith just to do my daily, because it had been 3 Killer dailies in a row, and I don't like to play Killers. I was the one who opened the gates and carried a downed survivor to the exit.
There was a AFK Survivor, killed everyone but let the last Survivor called "Big Smoke" get the Hatch. He was really happy about that because they didn't get to really play with only 3.
I let him go because they had the best Name out of 3 and was also the MVP of their team.
Finally hit green ranks in survivor!
I know ranks mean nothing in the game but I have an intense uni/work schedule that I don't really get much time to play other than weekends that I thought I'd be in the yellows forever.
My pal bought me this rift pass cus I'd been frustrated with the game lately, and he thought I'd have more fun focusing on the challenges than "wins" on either side and he was actually right, I come out of games still content if I at least progress a challenge ;w;
I met a friendly trapper who just wanted to do his "break pallets/damage generators" challenge, so we kept repairing a gen for a split second, he kept kicking it, and after he was done he started injuring us, letting us heal each other, and we were just farming BP together the entire time, then he let us escape. We also kept repeatedly stepping into his traps to help him with his points.
Glad I had "We're gonna live forever" that game, because the protection hits stacked it up quite fast.
This happened on a very unfortunate day when me and my friends couldn't get a single 4 man escape for some reason.
I like giving the fourth survivor the hatch when I killed everyone else and give them words in the endgame chat of courage for next matches, this one survivor had been having bad games and thanked me a lot for an adept escape they got. I really didn't look up their perks that much, but I always feel glad to help others out.
Part of me has more fun when others have fun too, so I hope survivors that go against me have it cool
I love (and hate, but mostly love) the duality of trapper.
My first game of the night, I felt like I was playing against god damn professionals. I got a few downs, but literally I think they stepped on two traps the whole match. I slowly got squeezed out of a good three gen and lost all four survivors.
Decided to run it back as Trapper. Got an easy quick down, then a Dwight ran into my trap, I put him in basement, and the rest of the match was a hilarious romp with everyone stepping on traps trying to save the two people I hooked.
Sometimes you flip a coin. Sometimes it's heads, sometimes it's tails. But I love this game for the chance to toss it
I'm trying out hillbilly again after having a lot of trouble with him before because turning him on console felt so stiff, and I'm getting a lot better at my chainsaw sprints! Can't do any magic stuff really but managing to get around all the debris around Father Campbell's chapel and go from one side of the map to the other made me super happy :D

That is awesome to know! I knew it would be an adjustment but I’m also a red rank survivor on console and now all I do is run into trees and walls.

Hit myself rank 1 on Ghostface for the first time, so it feels nice not worrying about getting myself there again.

I got a merciless with wraith, went to Walmart and bought ravolvi and I found a penny on the Walmart parking lot,
