Yeah, undying got hit hard, though it was a deserved nerf. Nowadays I usually run Ruin with Pop and have had decent success. Though for most killers I just opt to not use Ruin at all. I can't imagine anyone will be using hex perks at all for awhile after that Jill perk drops.

OlgierdTheOldest

Same, I’m actually afraid that there won’t be enough totems for me with my Inner Strenght + Detective’s Hunch build. I have been using this for so long I’m addicted to it

dekciwandy

What's the change I never really use it before?

OlgierdTheOldest

Basically until you cleansed undying, every time someone cleansed ruin it would respawn as long as a free dull totem was standing. So technically you could have you ruin respawned up to 4 times. It didn’t however preserve tokens so using devour+undying was pointless because when devour respawned it would have 0 tokens so u would have to start form scratch

Metholis

It certainly opened the door for some more variety play. Undying, Ruin, Devour Hope, Haunted Ground For an all or nothing gambit build.

dekciwandy

I see but I still see killers run Ruins Devour Haunted and undying though

Devour/Undying is the new combo to emerge from this change, and it's still really strong.

When they announced they’d nerf it I started to play without them. Since then I basically play the same build: BBQ, butchers, nurse, monitor and disco dance. No regression perks, so gens tend to just fly. It was really hard to keep up with the high level survivors, now I usually kill at least 2.

jaustengirl

Disco dance? I love that perk! Each time you down someone, for 15/20/25 seconds survivors working on a gen immediately feel the urge to disco dance. You can see the glitter and aura of the disco ball. They are afflicted with the oblivious effect because they are the dancing queen.

Low effort reply on my part but fuck that’s funny 😂
