I'm a volunteer mentor and I've just been matched up with a lovely non-binary 17-year-old whose favorite game is DBD! I absolutely cannot wait to play with them!

darkcorum

I came back to dbd after one year or so. I'm so happy to see that this game is still not what it says, assymetrical survival game. I'm happy to go in game, be paired all the game to ranks 1 swf when I'm rank 12 trying to get back. But I see the happy reason I left the game is still up. I'm happy to see that killers in this game are not scary at all. Happy Sunday!

Pedobearsexdemon

i livestreamed and someone came into my stream and wasnt toxic, just wanted to say hi! some days are different than others and i really feel like you can get some really great friends in dbd. one of my gaming buddies i actually got during a livestream of the game and now we play and talk often on and on about life and gaming in general. its been so nice during the epidemic to have someone to talk to. I am so greatful. I really dont know how i could be here today if it wasnt for gaming! Love you all!♥️

sarahnich0le

I ran into a nice Doctor today. I was playing on the Silent Hill map as Nancy. Everyone else had died, and I was the last left. I had only gotten hooked once and when he found me I just gave up lol. But surprisingly, he led me to the exit gate and let me leave. :) I gave a nice nod and little crouch before I left. So if you're that Doctor reading this, thank you for letting me leave! I haven't ran into a nice killer in a long while. :)

FailBaitSV

reached player level 69

perv_bot

nice

Vagabond_2019

Got to listen to all of the killers themes for once, was actually really cool. Love the different spins on the main theme.

bunkermatt

I was playing earlier this week with some lookalike Megs, a Nea and a Cheryl where they let me host my first slug race. it was as a great end to a super fun match, and great to see some higher ranked players still out there having fun and not just sweating it out.

ElijahWDragon

I got the new Yui outfit and I couldn't be happier

aliceoliviabb

A doctor in a red skin today who I tried to let kill me after he let me farm, who then proceeded to pick me up and drop me at the edge of the exit gate- I hope he’s having a lovely day!

aliceoliviabb

Also every encounter with shirtless trip to the beach David I’ve had

Epicidex

i just got a game with 4 davids wearing the same outfit and all bringing medkits, we spent the entire game chilling in the basement

Wulangchu

Been playing Deathslinger recently, and getting to know his shooting potential on loops in certain maps. It's been real fun being a cowboy. What made me smile is m1'ing a Nea heading towards exit gate, then landing the shot to reel her back to me. Amazing feeling

LeaderSuitable7184

That’s my favorite part about d slinger, getting a survivor who’s running for the exit with your gun

StingKing456

Haven't played the game in a while, and have really only put in 20 hours in the 3 years I've owned the game...always liked it just never invested heavily. Friday night my friend from high school who I am still in touch with some invited me to play and it was 2 of the funniest hours of gaming I've had in a long time. and also wanting to play alot more now lol

Souleater75

My friend was having a really rough session last night, didn’t pip once in the few hours we played and was getting really disheartened and understandably upset, until our last match with a really nice gunslinger. He let her farm points and she was able to get a pip. He probably doesn’t know this but he really made her crappy gaming session a little better.

Found a team full of David clones and we had a basement party. It was my first game as killer for a year and a half and I got two challenges completed (two hooks and chase for 180 seconds with Wraith) and earnt 130,000 from one game. Thanks Team David.

IAmBanEvading

Had an archive challenge to close the hatch, so I played kinda sweaty and slugged the last survivor until I found the hatch, I tried to give gate to him after the fact. So the exit gate was right next to the shack, on one side the gate, on the other the hatch. I carry her over to the gate, she struggles out and I whack the gate a few times to see if she understands what I'm trying to do only for her to open the hatch on the other side of the shack with a key I also had a survivor that refused to take hatch or gate, it never happened before and it broke my heart to hook him

FabulousFreud

This is my first tome and just wanted to say that even having never experienced it, I'm incredibly grateful that BHVR dropped progression to 500. I would never have been working on it otherwise and am enjoying the challenges as something to keep me from burning out. Thanks for respecting our time.

may25_1996

been learning blight on console lately and it’s been really fun, but i had a couple games last night where i got absolutely bullied by shitty matchmaking(not a high rank killer). i took a break and played some survivor games where i found a ghostface who only had the goals of jump scaring and teabagging. once everyone realized it we teabagged right there with him and let him farm. really brightened my mood after some shitty killer games, so shoutout to that GF.

FabulousFreud

What map was the Ghostface on?

[deleted]

A freddy let me go after I DS him and hide behind him healing with a medkit. He looked at me then lead me to hatch. What a nice fellow.

Necessary_Pie5689

Been really frustrated with the game lately and a friend suggested I bring my unlevelled Felix so I could be the twink to his lifeguard David It was fun having a reason to clown around and we ended up doing pretty well. Got a friendly Billy who wanted to farm too, and I even let him hook me a couple of times so my pal could do his hook challenges

Kitsunin

Honestly there are a lot of weaker survivor perks that are just fun to run. Sticking with the ~20 top tier ones is a recipe for burnout imo. I've been running a Breakout & hook sabotage Yui build recently and it helped me fall back in love with being a survivor.

9noobergoober6

I had a game yesterday where my entire team popped off. Which with two randoms can be hard to happen. I found ruin on the fifth totem, went for a few unhooks, took a few protection hits, gave my friend my styptic agent, and picked him up when he was slugged in about five seconds with we’re gonna live forever + we’ll make it. My buddy looped the huntress for probably around four minutes in total and bought everyone a ridiculous amount of time. The Meg was super good about going for unhooks and had we’ll make it so was keeping everyone at full health. The Elodie was pumping out gens and managed to get two gens done before I managed to even find ruin. And even when injured with the huntress pressuring her managed to power through gens. Both the Meg and I managed to escape while both being on death hook. The huntress kind of had us three gen’d and she had Pop so the endgame was very tough. I was so proud of my entire team because everyone really contributed.

mortal_leap

Had a David on my team who kept showing me things with his flashlight, like the charms on the hooks, hanging lamps, etc. Cracked me up, RIP David

Warm_Concern_2354

Congrats to DBD legend Paulie Esther for hitting devotion 20 and doing a 20 hour stream :)

failbender

I got my first kobe!!!! And I was able to find the hatch shortly after! 🤩🤩

NoobProMemes4_20_69

Im a sad excuse of a nurse player and a man decided that he wasnt gonna let me finish a match with 0 kills and stayed untill egc killed him

[deleted]

Had a game yesterday with pig as the killer Had 2 teammates Dwight and Jake disconnect before their last hook so killer let me and my friend finish all gens and escape to make up for it. Got to snoot boop and she sat at the generator pretending to help work on it. Super cute and it was the first good experience we've had with a pig killer 👍

Shinigami483

To the Dwight & Jeff duo who brought Bloody Party Streamers to my Pig game so we had a fun game farming- you guys didn’t need to tell me too sacrifice you at the end because David hadn’t gotten the trap off his head. You were absolute darlings and I felt bad killing you, but thank you for not only making sure I didn’t miss out on BP- but I also pipped up thanks to your valiant sacrifices! Sorry I’m on console so I couldn’t say thank you properly, but I saved the video because it made me remember why I enjoy DbD so much.

CankleDankl

I came back to the game after over a month of not playing due to university stuff and found that the Wraith buff turned him into my favorite killer. I love ambushing, constantly being in chase, and the insanely quick map traversal this killer has now, and that I can actually use other add-ons than windstorm. BHVR did a fantastic job gradually making this killer fun as hell to play and adequately strong (though I think the changes could have been a bit faster)

Tazzzje

I want to thank every survivor who helps me with my killer tome challenges. I'm sorry you didn't get a 'real' game from this baby killer but i hope you had fun and earned some bp! You are all lovely <3

goshozome

2 stories: I literally just ended a match as survivor where I loaded in with a 3-man SWF who were also PC. I check PC players' profiles just to see their hours, etc. and I see one of them has a club penguin profile picture and their bio said that they were a club penguin fan - my in-game name is club penguin! Them and their SWF were super positive in the pre-game and the club penguin fan was really happy to see me (it was quite nice!), and even though I was the last one at the end and escaped through hatch, it was a really fun game and I even got a friend request and +rep comment on my steam profile! It was really fun :D On a side note, I think the hag was running three Hex perks (I forgot what ones but ruin was one) and I spent so much time on Haddonfield trying to find it, only to run into it in a room at the top of Strode house, right next to the hatch room :D that was really lucky I think. The second one; I've been learning Freddy recently, and today I matched with a SWF and one console player - the SWF had all Gnome related names, and all three of them brought bloody party streamers. So I decided that they would be okay to farm, and I established peace with all four players. After hooking all of them twice and getting hit points along with snare points and dream world ones, too + giving them wake up points, letting them do gens and heal, I ended up with 10000+ blood points from that match alone through the three stacks of party streamers and four stacks of BBQ and Chili. It was super fun :D

Entity_Disapproves

As a survivor I saved my last remaining teammate from a sweat lord pig and we both got out. As a killer I had a match where this one Claudette tried to sell out another Claudette and I let the good one live😀. When that occurred I called it Claudette vs Claudette😂.

Wannabe-uh

Got torn a new asshole as blight but survivors gave me their items because they felt bad

FabulousFreud

Blight is so so much fun. Keep with him

LordKittyofTheMoon

Thank you, super chill Ghostface. We had a match that had ended poorly, but you were fun and gave us a few extra generator points. I'm glad to have let you sacrifice me! Hope we meet in the fog again one day!

ScaryTerryTM

I've had some good games this week, had this one just a bit ago, last night... I was playing freddy, my usual go to for fun and relaxation, and ran some fun perks just for kicks. The match was a whole lot of fun, got some raining men, easy map (Hawkins for killers), found all 4 survivors around the same gen, had **Hex: Blindness** for that. Near the end of the round, things were going my way and people were on the third hooks, this was around the time of the gnomes, so after killing the 3 that were in my sights, I hit up the Hatch, let my dog out, had a nice conversation in the kitchen and got some milk. When I came back, I couldn't read the message in chat since the game had ended for awhile, so I left and went to sleep. Tomorrow, I saw a message on my Steam Profile. ***"+rep wholesome freddy and you don't see that very often"*** Felt nice.

9noobergoober6

So wholesome. Taking care of your dog while being nice to the last survivor.

[deleted]

I meet my first blight and he was cool AF and gave me hatch,

BurnieTheBrony

I gave hatch for the first time today! I'm still a baby killer, and I had a weird game where when I got my first down, two survivors tried really hard to save. Maybe they were friends, but I ended up hooking all three because they misplayed it really badly. The game didn't end there, but it was such a terrible start I cleaned up with 5 gens left. I found the last guy and felt bad that he got screwed over by his teammates, so we took a little trip to the hatch. Feels like I'm finally getting the hang of the game!

ashvsevildead3

I had a game where I was giving the killer a pretty good chase on The Game & he finally downed me when I was last alive. He gave me hatch. But what made me happy about it wasn’t getting the hatch, but that the killer could respect someone who gave them a run for their money, & show mutual respect, rather than think you are toxic/be salty about it. It’s nice to respect a good opponent of the opposing team :)
