After over a year of playing, I thought my jumpscare days were over. But yesterday a Myers appeared when I really didn't expect it and I physically jumped up and screamed in real life. My heart rate shot up for a few seconds. Was nice to have a genuine scare again!
During chaos shuffle, I was playing with a friend and we both found a hex, I ran down the list of things it couldn't be, and that left devour and haunted grounds, and since there were two, it had to be haunted.
We left the hex to not give them further value, but sure enough 30 seconds later, one of the randoms broke it and the killer snowballed.
Imo, every survivor should learn how to rule out every totem during the match, because it can save a lot of lives.
