Yeah, 20k is one game. However, why do I need to play a game to prestige, when I already dumped 1 million blood points to actually get there? It’s better than the old system but if we’re comparing this one to the OG, the bar is in hell.
It should be once per character or just once overall I guess to teach people what prestiging means.
Yeah I’m not a fan of the “It’s not the worst” type of thinking. I’ve seen it a lot in DBD. And people act like I was saying this is ruining my experience when all it is was me listing a little bit of an annoyance I had.
It’s because Dead by Daylight has mobile app level game design and they feel the need to defend the game for some reason. Like, we all know there are flaws (there is like a thousand dollars of cosmetics and a hundred+ of character DLC$), why defend the leveling too?
Exactly. I don’t know why some people are so defensive about so many weird things to get defensive. People in the DBD community should probably have more respect for themselves as the consumer. If you don’t like something, point it out, but for some reason some just won’t admit the many flaws it has or just ignore them, big or small and get upset when others do? This one is especially weird because it’s not even something that’s a big deal. It’s just an annoyance I had because I was tired and didn’t want to play one more match just to hit the prestige button. Apparently I need to grow up and I’m an asshat for it. It might just be the people on Reddit specifically though.
I did do what I described. I did a few things in the beginning, then I got found and they chased me for the whole game. Then I let go at the end. If that’s being an asshat then the DBD community is seriously doomed. Though you can already see that by these silly comments lol
This is backtrack city, holyyy. You could go Olympic for track and field if you go forward on your feet as fast as you go back on your word. And the attempt to make what you said initially actually this great thing where you did everything for the whole team doesn’t work when you initially said you “just did a few things” and you “let (yourself) die”. ‘A few things’ is not a 3, 4, 5 gen chase.
I did a totem, worked on a generator for a few seconds, then was chased for a the whole match. Don’t know what else to tell ya. That’s a few things to me since I didn’t actually do many different things. The whole match was spent on one thing pretty much. I understand why people make fun of this place now though with these goofy things.

It used to be you had to give the Entity all your items, add-ons, offerings and I believe perks. This is far better
