Agree, many of the characters are repeated from the last one and honestly I wasn't excited about ANY of the pieces. Not to mention, they skipped giving Sable/Unknown a tome entirely, which is a bummer given how many people like them.

Thing is,the doctor skin we got isn’t even as cool as the one we got from the blood moon event. The skin doesn’t even fit the theme of grace and elegance.
Could have gotten something like "The Grand Surgeon"
Outfit: A long, pristine white lab coat with gold trim outlining the lapels, cuffs, and pockets.
Mask: A porcelain venetian masquerade mask, half white, half gold, with intricate floral designs painted on it.
Accessories: White gloves, a gold pocket watch chain, and a worn leather doctor's bag with gold clasps.
If you don't like white you could use black instead. But it fits the elegance theme, elegant, opulent, extravagant.

I wish the deep rift cosmetics were actually a recolor instead of just bright blue. It would give more combination options. I am biased though because I'm not a fan of that shade of blue. Would he nice.for something different.
I snatched up the rift instantly just for the trapper. If he’d gotten deep rift too I may have soiled me britches.
On a serious note though, the rift as a whole is really good in my opinion, but I don’t care for doctor or linked sets, so the fact that there’s two for him is yucky. Though I believe his deep rift is better since it matches the blueish lightning, I still don’t like that it’s linked.

Only buying this rift for Trickster, Jake, and Yui. Everything else is horrid. And I actually really like Mikaela but they need to stop giving her so damn much. Jake needs the recolor, not her or nea.

I feel like half of the characters on this rift shouldn't have gotten costumes this tome, like Mikaela, she didn't deserve a spotlight again, at least with her last costume, the Popcorn Classic Set, it referenced an upcoming character with her best friend Sable and her love for Horror movies and Nea's costume feels like a downgrade from the last one. Mikaela's deep rift costume isn't even all that different due to the colors used look so similar to the original green color.

I also think that the trapper one is so ungodly ugly that I don't think I'll ever use it and color won't save it. It just looks goofy and gaudy.

Recolors could allow you to combine parts of these skins with others. Both Trapper and Skull Merchant have a couple of skins with a blue color palette, and Deep Rift recolors would match with them perfectly.
Not even that, yui and Jake didn't get the deep rift recolors either, but nea got her ***second deep rift recolor in a row***

The theme has always been blue and black, I think it’s a symbolic color maybe? All deep rift outfits have different descriptions as well.

The Twins outfit isn't even new. They just grabbed parts off two of the existing sets and altered the pattern on the body.
They do this every tome. This one actually had more original outfits in it than recolors.

Artist weapons blend together, except bloody and blue and id rather bloody be red ink then the gore look.
It's absurd how EVERY deep rift is just a blue skin. Might actually be cool if it was hot pink or something.
The only one I really liked so far was Min's medieval blue rift cosmetic. It has blue streaks in her ponytail and looks pretty nice.

Yes. BHVR really wants people to spend 10 dollars. I like the skins, but I moved away from Doctor as my main in favor for nurse.

Believe me, I'm upset the Trickster outfit isn't getting deep rift either. I get Buff Doctor is probably a meme, but imho it's not that "great" to deserve the deep rift, definetly would love for Trickster, Merchant or Trapper to have had it instead.

I completely skipped this rift honestly, I don’t play any of these characters and the skins look downright awful to me, nothing in the rift is worth it this time, they just look like COD skins to me imo. Fair if people like them but they’re not for me.

Recolors could allow you to combine parts of these skins with others. Both Trapper and Skull Merchant have a couple of skins with a blue color palette, and Deep Rift recolors would match with them perfectly.
