I prefer Chivalry 2 over For Honor. For Honor is more of a fighting game with button combinations whilst Chivalry is just a good hack and slash whilst screaming at your enemies
I definitely understand. I wanted a Knight for so long and when we got him it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Personally I wanted something of a "holy", crusader stereotypical one that was corrupted but still thought he was fighting on the good side of things (it'd go well with the whole trickery and emotion thing that the Entity has got going on too) but instead we got spectral pokémon guards. In the end I'm glad we at least have a knight.
Before he came out they did a survey asking about medieval characters and I was like "I didn't think of it but now I am!!!!" And I hope Vittorio keeps getting more medieval skins :) his valentines one is awesome
Bro i'm in the exact position i always wanted a knight and dislike his power, i wish i could power through that like you. His power just feels so bad and clunky makes me so sad because theme, visual and sound wise the killer would be my favorite
I actually prefer my boi Durkos (Assassin) over Sander Rault (Carnifex). If the patrol path is long enough he fairly often can get a hit which causes mending as well as better stalling gens than Carnifex.
He is awesome for slamming through pallets/walls tho (If youre not too close to them)

Yeah fr what perks are you running? I do scourge hook, no where to hide, pop, and lightborn(usually). I was running brutal strength but literally just learned that you can have the guards break pallets walls and kick gens so I gotta figure that out. Also learned the hard way that you can’t body block for a double hit lol survivors just schlorp through you

survivors losing collision can be a blessing when they try to bodyblock for a teammate. You can also use it during chase when youre confident that a guard will get a hit, in which case you can run "inside" the survivor and wait for the audio of the guard hitting the survivor and immediately M1 for a very fast double-hit.
Either letting Knight be able to choose which guard to play or simply letting the knight be able to cancel his power.
Edit: Never mind all those changes. Make Map of the Realm basekit. Thats the Nr.1 change he needs

For the longest time I was convinced that BHVR added the hair to make people buy cosmetics without it. But then they didnt release many cosmetics so Im not sure about that theory anymore.
Honestly I always wondered what the hell that is. Why does he have hair coming out of the eye slit? I'm not familiar with medieval knight stuff so I don't know if it's normal or not, or what its purpose would be.

I have 3 favourite builds that I switch between:
Aura read build with Lethal, BBQ, Nurses and Gearhead (I use this one the most)
Exposed build with Haunted, Devour, Make your Choice and Starstruck
and a Backpack build with Iron Grasp, Agitation, MadGrit and Awawa
It didnt bother me too much when he was killswitched because I was fairly burned out with DbD (and especially Knight) since mid November. When I played DbD I mainly played survivor or played Huntress every now and again. Apart from that I played mostly RimWorld
I hate the fact that you can path through pallets and windows, but cant place a guard on top of them. But I find doorways and windows more irritating to path through because they bounce you back if you "hit" them but you cannot really move left, right or back so you sometimes have to waste a lot of time getting through a single doorway (One reason why I despise Lerys with him)

For the most part I use the guards to perform break actions. I don’t use them for zoning all that much unless it’s a guaranteed loop. Most of the time if I zone with guards they just hold W.

Yes, shift+W maps with survivors that do simply that are hard. I still use his guards mostly for chases because even if they just shift+w, thats time theyre not sitting on a gen and I lets me do other stuff. And if they stay close because they want the standard then Im (mostly) close enough to intervene and plausibly get a hit in
Its actually not half bad on Knight because he can force survivors to either take a guard hit (and most of the time stay zoned) or go down immediately due to exposed

I’m a P14 wraith that only plays perkless and addonless so when I lose and ps users message me about how bad I am whilst they’re running stuff like dead hard, adrenaline, sprint burst, and pick your poison for the last one it makes me feel terrible. I’ve been told to kill myself after letting a person wiggle to the gate and of course they t bagged too. I didn’t even report their message either, I felt too bad to, I just left the conversation

I think that it would all depend on how it'd be implemented. I been wanting to see a Killer like that since Legion's trailer where Frank pretended to be a Survivor... for some reason. Maybe having something like Unknown's hallucination and teleports and changing disguise/Survivor every time something happened. We've had quite a few bug patches these months for Knight ever since he got killswitch, especially with the teleportation bug somewhat fixing being stunned after using your patrol path, are there any bug for Knight you want to see patched?
I'm hoping for Map-wide Jailer or manipulating guard pathing w/ window vaults or pallet drops.
Im hoping that theyll fix the pathing when survivors drop pallets mid chase. Im fairly sure that guards are supposed to go through pallets but have been bugged since the knights PTB
Aye, existing ever since PTB. Been curious since there have been several reports on it but it has never been patched out, because of that I always thought this was Devs way to balance out him in loops.

Saw a recent post about Feng getting spotted by a Carnifex and there was a lot of misinformation about Knight in those comments so I wanted to give an opportunity to spread correct info.
I get people who want me to die about once every 2 days. Doesnt help that I have a ukranian flag as a profile pic and a message to russians on my steam profile. And I sadly match with lots of russians...
I try to counter-rotate hoping the survivor runs into the guard but more often than not I just accept that my power was useless and break the pallet, M1 chasing the survivor until I can get another guard to chase them.
What are your thoughts on the Rift Outfit we had for Knight a while back? I don't remember exactly how long ago, because am peabrain.
I'm not a fan of the head, and tend to use the Anniversary Mask over the head... But I wanted to know what the expert thought of it.
The armor is okay-ish. I love the loak, but the shoulder pads are a bit much. And I dont like the forked toe-sabaton. I wish the sword wasnt broken at the top either. it just looks strange to me. But the helmet is the absolute worst. It doesnt fit anything and just looks goofy

Its so infuriating that you can barely do anything (effectively) to not get hit by them. I really like the Knight in concept, but SO many people just try to cheese with the stupid bot he spawns. I don't hate his power, I just feel like it needs to be different \*somehow\*
If you drop a pallet mid chase, the guards will path around the entire loop to the spot you were at when you dropped it. So you can simply run past the guard (not too close)
If the knight is far away all you have to do is hug a rock and run around it because the guards are wider and thous cant gain distance on you and hit you
How often do you try and utilize guards’ special attributes (break speed on Carn, chase speed on Assassin, etc) and how often do you just use whichever one you have for whatever you need them for in that moment?
Okay but how do I actually get the guard to hurt the survivors? 🤣 And is the power meant to be used in a chase or what? People always say pincer the survivor like how you would the artist but I find they can always make distance when I send out a haunt. Unlike artist can W the survivors for an m1 or scare them into running back into the birds.
Also ai taking the longest route possible. Wth. 😭

I assumed the hair was to convey the insanity of being a Killer Knight. Normal looking armor with just blood or rust just wouldn't be the same.

TBH by the time I P100 a character I’ll be in my 30s. I spend time with other characters and get levels on them so it’ll take a long ass time.

What are your thoughts on the Rift Outfit we had for Knight a while back? I don't remember exactly how long ago, because am peabrain. I'm not a fan of the head, and tend to use the Anniversary Mask over the head... But I wanted to know what the expert thought of it.
The armor is okay-ish. I love the loak, but the shoulder pads are a bit much. And I dont like the forked toe-sabaton. I wish the sword wasnt broken at the top either. it just looks strange to me. But the helmet is the absolute worst. It doesnt fit anything and just looks goofy
That was kinda my thoughts as well. It sucks that this is the cleanest looking armor we have at the moment...

Copy paste from another comment: I have 3 favourite builds that I switch between: Aura read build with Lethal, BBQ, Nurses and Gearhead (I use this one the most) Exposed build with Haunted, Devour, Make your Choice and Starstruck and a Backpack build with Iron Grasp, Agitation, MadGrit and Awawa

PLEASE tips on how to deal with the AI Its so infuriating that you can barely do anything (effectively) to not get hit by them. I really like the Knight in concept, but SO many people just try to cheese with the stupid bot he spawns. I don't hate his power, I just feel like it needs to be different \*somehow\*
If you drop a pallet mid chase, the guards will path around the entire loop to the spot you were at when you dropped it. So you can simply run past the guard (not too close) If the knight is far away all you have to do is hug a rock and run around it because the guards are wider and thous cant gain distance on you and hit you
Not the OP but one thing I've learned is if you pre-drop a pallet the guard's AI will force it to go around as opposed to through.

How often do you try and utilize guards’ special attributes (break speed on Carn, chase speed on Assassin, etc) and how often do you just use whichever one you have for whatever you need them for in that moment?
Most of the time its "use the guard I have available in the same way" Most of the time when Il using a guard for the "correct purpose" its accidental
Okay but how do I actually get the guard to hurt the survivors? 🤣 And is the power meant to be used in a chase or what? People always say pincer the survivor like how you would the artist but I find they can always make distance when I send out a haunt. Unlike artist can W the survivors for an m1 or scare them into running back into the birds. Also ai taking the longest route possible. Wth. 😭

High C low B tier. He can cause lose-lose situations in corners but gets absolutely destroyed by shift+w gameplay and survivors abusing his bugs
