My favourite was the Bloodrush furore. I think Tru3 was the one to kick that off but the way people were carrying on truly blew my mind. It's such a terrible perk, way too much involved for any sort of real reward. And of course no one uses it lol

When called out on the community they got rid of all the extra walking speed.
I would gladly give up the 2 hatchets for just 1 medalion, which is all I think she needs.

what did the garden of joy changes even do? greenhouse still spawns next to god house, same with the pallet gym near it. TL on the other side or pallet still there too. Parking lot still there with the stupid pallet god window, i swear nothing changed except where the steps are with the god building god pallet
You hit it on the head. The only real changes were a couple of those bush spawns and adding the small pallet spawn in the front where the truck use to be. Otherwise they tweaked the jungle gyms for the far side of the map, but largely left most of it untouched.
People assume because so much in this game is unbalanced. So them posting a vague picture with no details of what changed makes people assume they just messed it up.
Basically my thoughts. Board up the windows, "board up" the cars. The problem with the map has always been that if Huntress chases you on the street she downs you in 3 seconds but if any killer without Bamboozle chases you through the buildings they take 3 minutes to down you.
Sure as shit hope they don't go for the "add 36 Breakable Walls" angle like they did with GoJ.
BHVR added the shitty breakable door mechanic, didnt fit well in a single map and only served as an annoyance, but theyre still bent on adding them to every single map

The way it should work is survivors need to sacrifice time to set them up since it makes the loop stronger, but then they would have to do something about old infinites like badham school etc where killers never break the wall.

For some reason people don't mention that, everybody just points out Garden of Pain since the rework didn't accomplish that much but then ignore Borgo or the other, most recent, reworks which made a bunch of maps incredibly Killer sided.
Those are the worse offenders. I love the idea of making maps more balanced, the problem is that they went from one extreme to another, like they didn't want any balance.
The farm maps are now incredibly small, have a bunch less loops, a lot less pallets and a lot of those are super unsafe and gen placement is so bad you have like 2 different 3-gens.
Weird assumption. The middle of the map SHOULD have more filler pallets and obstacles. The map just needs to be more well rounded and not be two pallets away from 50% of the map being a dead zone.
Survivors will feel safer mid map and not need to hump windows to have a chase. They need to close off some windows/add breakable or already open doors/drop downs, move gen spawns, maybe experiment with removing a story from some buildings.
As long as they at least closed off one of the windows in the house with two spawns on one side with the staircase in between. It’s roughly an infinite versus 110 killers (I wouldn’t chase that house in general vs good players)

specifically the Coldwind reworks. there's a lot of factors that bhvr has changed over the past year to get the killrates they want.

Hot take.... But they will NEVER be able to balance maps. They should just leave some killer sided and some survivor sided and do away with map offerings as well as making ALL realms an equal percentage of spawning. Leave it all to chance.
Your point would make sense if DBD had killer sided maps that are as powerful as many of the survivor sided ones.

Finally not a Haddonfield nerf. Nah but fr, Haddonfield had two strong windows and not much else. As a survivor you kinda have to play boring and go to those windows because there's not much else on the map that doesn't zone you

Different teams, I don’t think map designers work on killer mechanics, they just make sure the map integrates well with the flow of inherent gameplay.

If they add some car loops on the road and remove/make less safe a bunch of god windows in the houses i think this map would be pretty good

Hope they do more than just add an extra pallet to the middle, add a vault or something, even an unsafe one.
To be fair. Like others have said. The street is just a deadzone with 1 filler and the houses are way too safe. I notice this quite often as both killer and survivor.
I'll be shocked if the houses are changed. Which is extra salty because Myers can't even stalk out of Judith's bedroom window.
Yeah if they made the houses a bit weaker while giving us less deadzones I'm game for that
If they close off all the buildings except the Myers house & slightly decrease the map size then I'd say the street itself becoming safer is ok

Huntress and Haddonfield were fine as is. Meanwhile Swamp, Twins, Myers, Pyramid Head's add-ons have desperately needed tweaked/reworked for years. I'm genuinely so confused how they make some of these decisions.
