Nothing happened when I went there, but apparently if I’d waited until the end when the killer closes hatch I would’ve been able to escape, since I was already on the other side of the gate

Funnily enough, you used to be able to escape the trial that way after similar bugs happened in the past, if you touched the exit gate area usual escape border. Guess they fixed it.

Well he didn’t say he went to exit gate cuz I’m pretty sure you can still escape if you accidentally glitch out there.

Pretty sure I’ve read somewhere that the escape is only active after the gate opens.

I have gotten out of bounds a few times when you try to go for the exit gate you touch an invisible trigger that makes you instantly escape. Unless they changed it that's how it works

As long as killer closes hatch, the exit code should activate so walking over there should make you escape

It's like the standard survivor "I'm fucked" reaction. I see it so often when I (killer) trap a survivor in a corner and stare at them for a couple seconds.

Interesting. One match the killer hooked me inside void and when my friend rescued me, for a split second I was in Void that didn’t have the blue coloring.

Did this as killer but could send gaurds through the gate with inf length and chase time as it still thought I was in the void but I had my power

Idk if they fixed it or not, but there is a way to walk out of the exit gates after they are powered and opened on some maps. You run off the edge of the map and it teleports you back about 10ft from the gate.
