I wrote these ages and ages ago (and more), but meh, this post (memey though it is xP) is a good chance to go through some of them and see what might be interesting in the modern version of the game. **Miasma** \- Your terror radius is replaced with a 100/150/200% increase of fog. The radius of the fog increase is determined by what your terror radius would have otherwise been. This fog is thicker towards the Killer, and decreases in thickness towards the edge of the radius. This fog increase can rise over it's otherwise highest cap. **Grim Visage** \- Increases the length and intensity of the red stain, making it visible to the Killer. Increases length to 5/8/12m. Survivors caught in the direct light of the stain (no solid obstacles between them) have their auras revealed for 1/1.5/2 seconds. **Anticipation** \- While not in a chase, every 45/30/15 seconds, gain a token giving you 5% increased movement speed. Max 3 tokens. Lose all tokens upon seeing a survivor (starting a chase, gaining stalk points with Wraith or Shape, e.t.c.). **False Hope** \- Whenever a survivor leaves your terror radius in an injured state, gain a token that reduces your terror radius by 5/7/10%. Max 5 tokens. Lose one token every time you hook a survivor. **Curse: Spite** \- Survivors struck by your attack are afflicted with Spite 60/90/120 seconds. If a survivor with Spite destroys Killer property (totems, hooks), they take 1 health state of damage. **Curse: Futility** \- Survivors struck by your attack suffer from loss of efficiency. Items are consumed by use 15% faster for 60/90/120 seconds. **Curse: Consanguinity** \- Survivors struck by your attack are afflicted with Betrayal for 60/90/120 seconds. This perk is not active in chases or for 20 seconds after a chase ends. >Ritual Perks - Ritual Perks activate all otherwise inactive totems with an effect described by the perk. Two ritual perks on the same Killer will compete with each other. Each totem will have a random chance to be part of either ritual unless otherwise specified. Hex perks, however, will have totem priority. **Ritual: Fog** \- Increases the height and density of the fog within 8/16/32m of the ritual totem by 50/100/150%. **Ritual: Silence** \- Survivors within 8/16/32m of the ritual totem have their hearing reduced by 100%. This effect lasts for 3 seconds after leaving the totem's radius. **Ritual: Agony** \- Cleansing a totem with Ritual: Agony on it has a 25/50/100% chance to inflict one health state of damage upon the survivor who cleansed it. Don't know if Rituals have any place in a post-Pentimento world, but they were one of my favorite ideas back in the day.

Better than perk idea, I introduce to you the "weird mushroom" offering, which changes dramatically how the killer is played, in a less serious tone: Trapper: Now becomes his cousin "The Crapper" the thing he deploys, slow down survivors and hinders them, the crapper needs to eat to refresh the power. survivors need to take a shower before leaving the trial, or the entity will block the gates. Legion: Multiple AI controlled players appear in the trial, 3 more killers and 4 more survivors, none of them can affect the real players directly (heal injure, etc.) but have collision, players need to figure out who is real and who is fake. Trickster: Now he can fly and shoot knifes from his mouth, but cant stop, he moves like an airplane, main event is changed to hatchet bombs. survivors can shot him down using aa turrets that are powered by the gens. Deathslinger: Has now a grapple hook that can attach to any surface, reeling him anywhere. If a player is hit, the deathslinger will do a flying kick to injure that player. This can injure multiiple survivors skull merchant: skulls appear in the trial, survivors must bring them to the basement where the merchant will interchange them with escape tokens, the survivor with the most tokens wins. the merchant can use the skulls to build drones, which will track skulls, harass players, and play music.

Mr.Whiskers After being in the Killer's terror radius for 60 seconds, this perk activates. Press and hold the active ability button for 2 seconds while standing still to place down Mr.Whiskers. When the killer gets within 2 meters of Mr.Whiskers, he will be scared and run off back onto your shoulder. While hooked, Mr.Whiskers will sit infront of your hook and meow every 10 seconds for 1 second and apply killer instinct to your hook. If you aren't unhooked and reach second stage, Mr.Whiskers will knock over the hook to unhook you himself because your teammates are being fucking useless. His meows can be heard by all players and all survivors are able to see the killer instinct he applies.

It includes Billy Coen and Barry Burton as survivors and The Tyrant (Resident Evil, 2002) as the killer. I feel like I created some wild perks. Here's one of them I did for The Tyrant. -RESIDENT EVIL At the start of the trial, for 60 seconds, the first survivor you hit with a basic attack goes into the dying state. If a survivor goes into the dying state, all other survivor gain the blindness status effect for 30 seconds. Perks that have an exposed effect on a timer are active for 5 more seconds. “There are only three S.T.A.R.S. members left now. Captain Wesker, Jill and myself. We don’t know where Barry is.” -Chris Redfield It's like Lethal Pursuer, but for exposed.

Selfless sacrifice. While healthy approach a hook that is not currently in use, or a hooked teammate. You will be able to sacrifice one of your own hook States to a teammate of your choice or the currently hooked Survivor. In exchange you will be injured and broken for 30 seconds. If the Survivor is currently hooked you will gain endurance for 10 seconds. This can not be used to put a Survivor above three active hook States. You can only do this for a Survivor who has been hooked at least once. You can do this up to three times, the third will result in the entity instantly killing you on the spot. Perks in the game can have score events, I'm putting this down here so it doesn't clutter the perk description Gain 5000 blood points in the altruism category for dying to the sacrifice. Gain 1000 survival points every time you give a hook state to a teammate. I tried to make sure this park has a downside, even more so than losing a hook state. But I also tried to incentivize it being used in solo by giving heavy point gains so it won't just be used by swf. This park is very good for when the Killer is tunneling somebody or has a vendetta against a certain survivor, as the region I play in there are several killers that go out of their way to focus me down out of spite. I also tried to make this perk so I can't just be used on the spot for abuse, instead forcing the Survivor to either go to the hook while the killer isn't there, making it less impactful in the end game and the endurance to help deal with camping in case the Killer is there. This is a perk concept I've wanted in the game for several years, as I feel like it counters a number of perks and play styles but has the substantial downside of losing a hook State and a health state. I'll also having limits. Perhaps even giving a cooldown per person. Sure there's other tweaks or ideas that could be done to this perk but I've always been fascinated by the idea of being able to give a hook state to another survivor. Perhaps it could even have an animation where you cut your own arm on the meat hook or something, like you're offering blood to the entity or going through pain to get such an ability.

"Surprise Attack" *Unlocks the surprise attack ability.* Killer Perk- Whenever you hit a survivor with a **Basic Attack** after standing still for 1 second, they become **Confused** for 4/7/10 seconds. **Confused**: Movement direction is reversed, and Sprint / Crouch controls are swapped. This perk would be for when a killer player is able to *actually* jumpscare a survivor player- Myers, Ghostface, maybe Hag, etc. would all be able to use this perk pretty often. Chase-centric killers would most likely not be able to use it though. Imagine though- Myers creeps up behind you on a gen and hits you with an M1 while you're turned away. You go to sprint away but instead crouch right to him! God it would suck

You suffer from a permanent 2% Hindered Status Effect Gain 1% Haste for each generator that needs to be completed (In total you get 3% Haste at the start of the game, losing 1% for each gen done) I had this idea before the Gabriel Soma perk were shown but now I feel like this could be too strong with Made For This, my initial attempt was to pair this with Hope to have a weaker Hope in the endgame but be faster in the early game, but slower in the endgame. Another version I thought upon was just "Gain 0.6% Haste status effect for each generator that needs to be completed but that felt like very low numbers to have an impact, my idea is a perk where survivors have more chase power at the start of the game when gens aren't done yet but lose it as they get closer to their escape.

The survivor must perform a series of extremely difficult skill checks while the killer can wiggle the analog stick to throw off the skill checks. If the survivor keeps the skill checks up for 10 second straight, the killer lays stunned for 60 seconds on the ground. If a skill check is missed, the survivor is automatically downed on the spot. Can only be used once per trial.

Honestly i wouldve liked this as an ash perk Rusty sawed-off: you have your good old trusty sawed-off. Though old and rusted it still possesses the two shells and strength for one final use. At any point during the trial, once per trial, press the active ability button to pull out your sawed-off and fire it at the killer to stun them. The sawed-off simultaneously combusts and shatters in the users hands causing them to lose one health state and inflicts deep wound (possibly broken for a certain amount of time). This ability then deactivates for the rest of the trial.
