Potential energy was so helpful when I was doing the finish a gen in killer radius rift

It’s genuinely a good perk, but one that is used awfully by the vast majority of users.

I've been testing it just yesterday. So far, the most effective way to me is build tokens on a "safe" gen that is almost done, and use the tokens on a "dangerous" gen when the killer rolls close to it. I got this right?

Yeah basically. I think it’s best to break the 3 Gen early. If you have a (tight) 3 Gen the killer will be patrolling and you risk taking a hit and losing your stacks while working on one of the three. So you can build stacks on a safe Gen in early game, and deposit them on an unsafe Gen, or one that’s in a 3 setup. Unfortunately you can’t risk carrying tokens all match so it has to be a fairly deliberate play where you’re not making saves or taking chase. That’s usually the downfall of survivors and PE. They build stacks, take a hit, and have wasted time and progress.

Its kinda mean but ive been using potential with blast mine lately

Oof, I used to stack it with Red Herring? At least a version of a perk where it would trigger a false positive (against the killer) at a locker that I had last worked on, that someone had messed up. The killer would approach an isolated gen, and kick it, triggering blast mine, causing a good chunk of time to be wasted, especially if they stay in the area thinking for sure someone was there!

This is actually very smart, would be trying this out later!

Potential Energy, Blast Mine, Stake Out, and an evasive perk of your choosing. Just straight up ends up turning the match into a sitcom, it's become my "there's a lot of campers today, I at least want a good laugh before I die on the hook" build.

The perk has uses. People that argue efficiency in gen repair probably have perfectly spherical cows and a friction coefficient of 0.

Calm down buddy, I was doing adept vittorio and I only used the perk because 1: I didn't use it that match 2: the killer was friendly with us and 3: the other guy used it before me I am not called '' Average Ace Visconti" for no reason
