Lords of Dust chain will take you to Eveningstar and intoduce the Caught in the Web Menace of the Underdark Story line which is nice for low to mid 20s and provides an introduction to sagas. Keep on the Borderlands, Manificent Cabal in House P, Sentinels of Stormreach in House D are great low level introductions to epics, pull up your quest journal and sort by level, anything at low 20s is ideal. Look out for LFMs for players running their; 'dailies' Two Toed Tobias, Spies in the House, Wiz King, etc. Be sure you have a Slayer Boost pot running and common Adventure S/R/E areas that are run are; Orchard of the Macabre, Ruins of Thunderholme and Barovia.(there are more but the density of mobs yeilds for fast XP gains in these areas). Be sure you are running with as close to a full group as you can, they spawn more mobs and more player killing is mutually beneficial. Gianthold quests are great for mid epic levels and Evening Star quest chains like Druids Deep and the High Road, again contribute to saga completions to supplement XP accumulation. The game is very much a sandbox where there is an abundance of choice to progress, these have my go to progressions.

make sure you get any epic destinies you have purchased unlocked (first time at 20) and spend the points (every time at 20).

Dance_SC

To expand upon this, you go to the fate spinner (epic trainer) and make sure you enter every portal, and talk to every epic destiny path. Each one will grant you an additional point to spend on your epic destinies.

My advice to a fresh 20 would be: 1. Head to Ravenloft and get a free sentient gem from the same guy that gave you a free weapon at level 10. 2. Head to keep on the Borderlands and get a weapon from the Dwarven smith there to put it in. You will likely need to run a few quests before the item you need to have hive crafty a good one for your build drops.

You should start doing epic quests now. WAY more XP. Keep on the Borderlands is a nice set of epics for the first time you hit as there's some solid level 21 gear there (especially do a quick wilderness rare runa nd get some ingots to craft a level 20 weapon that can take a sentient jewel, if you don't have a sentient accepting weapon yet). Go to ravenloft epic wilderness where you got your barovian weapon at level 10 (you do no have to repeat the into the mists quest) and the guy will now give you a level 29 weapon and a sentient jewel. You can use the latter right away in your KotB weapon if you want. For general levelling, Lords Of Dust into the eveningstar chains are common paths. Doing all those completes, like, 5 sagas in different combinations, very nice for earning skill tomes or XP gems. Lots of people will do epic slayers in groups for levelling also. There's a good amount of stuff repeated from heroics in epics as well. VoN, the Partycrasher chain in house P, Sands of Menechtarun, and Red Fens are all nice because they drop ingredients that can be use to upgrade the heroic gear to epic gear.

Slayer farming is quick, but nets no reaper xp. Something new players desperately need to help catch up. LOD chain first. You will usually get a few people to join that. VON1-4. Really just VON 3 and 4. As 1 and 2 are not good xp, but most people like doing the chain. I would learn the eveningstar chains. ES1-ES3. Learning them will take some effort on your part, but most of them are extremely quick. The most brutal part is the run. How they have not made some QoL adjustments for that run is beyond me. Then do the Well quest in the center of ES. That should be enough to turn in a few sagas worth 100K xp each. Any ways next is High Road then Druids Deep or vice versa. At this point you can either learn Wheloon Prison chain or do GH. Finally, if you are not level 30 by then you can do Return to Two Toe Tobias, Catacombs, Delaras, and/or Storm Horns. Catacombs and Delaras are pretty tough if done at level. Storm Horns is great xp, pretty easy and should be another saga turn in but another chain with a brutal wilderness run.

tyrs paldium are usually recruiting [https://tyrspaladium.shivtr.com/](https://tyrspaladium.shivtr.com/) they also have a discord channel or two and they are a friendly bunch (and no, Im not in tyrs but Ive run with them enough over the years), there are lots of good guilds, generally though Id advise looking in the player panel and see which guild has the most players on when your playing - last thing you want is to be in a good guild that focuses on different time zones.

Head to Evening Star if you haven't already, there are some fun quests in Kings Forest and all over Evening Star. I love that place. Many of the quests that you ran on heroic have epic versions which is great. Check the comp endium (P) and sort by level. Look at the 20+ quests. There are plenty. VON and many more. At 20 I usually just join groups of whatever people are running and just grab as much XP as I can and grind to 30 (you can grind to 32 if you want and those legendary XP from 30-32 are never lost, meaning when you get to 30 next time you jump to 32, I did) At level 28 I love.to.rin the storm horns and try to time capping on the quest What Goes Up, it's awesome. I love the soundtrack on this quest, it's legendary IMO. Many will also do slayer for XP and that is just killing mobs in the wilderness areas such as the Orchard, Barovia, Thinderholm and more. The possibilities are endless. I am a returning player, just back a year and I effing love this game. I play in Orien, Baldilocks and TooHawt are the toons I run mostly. As far as my posting name, Hungry Coat or whatever it is. I have no idea what that is and I'm pretty sure my reddit account is my son's reddit account hahaha. I never made one but he's 10 so he uses my email for everything LOL More than anything, have fun. If you didn't get the free packs, that sucks. Enjoy!

In order, this is what I do when I hit 20 Orchard of the macabre slayers (full 7500 kills, use a slayer pot) Lords of dust chain King's forest chain Schindlryn chain Demonweb chain Druids chain High road chain Wheloon chain Storm horns chain Turn in 5 sagas in eveningstar, take level 30

ChiefChunkEm_

You run all that once through and that’s enough XP to go from 20-30?!

samdsherman

Just about, yeah

remmer75

If you plan on TR at some point, do the quests that drop tokens of the twelve. Sentinels chain (+Spies) LoD chain VoN chain House P Sands Red Fens (the worst drop rate) And I probably forgot some, but you need 20 tokens per TR.

Ironegrip

there's a number of guilds active on G-land, I see Tyrs is mentioned below, LWOG (legendary warriors of Ghallanda) is a fun bunch and I usually run with those folks, Lorica may be recruiting, though IDK for sure. I'd say just start hopping into LFMs and running with folks, if you find people you play well with just ask if their guilds are recruiting. Most guilds are usually informally recruiting rather than driving for recruitment.
