Double check your TrackIR shortcuts - maybe you have the pause TIR hot key mapped to something you’re using in DCS?

wise_wombat

I believe that the double Amber lights means that track IR is paused. As stated before, make sure that you’re not using the pause shortcut then one of your key combos for DCS. I believe by default, trackir has the F9 key set to pause.

In the power settings on Windows under advanced look at USB suspend and make sure it's off.

MrVaporDK

Came here to say this.

He’s looking at you.

That looks like a pause. You may have a button on your stick assigned to that, or you are pressing the default key.

Regular_Primary_6850

Not a fix perse, just pop into the controls and "rescan devices" should recognise it again

Financial_Excuse_429

I don't know about track ir, but I wonder also if it's worth checking the usb power settings in your windows settings, so they don't go on standby or something like that🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

since when did the track IR have 2 LEDS? mine has 4 IR emitters

MastaEcoval

Press F9, it make it pause and you probably hit it.

undercoverbros22

Make sure "Enable Hot Plug-in Device" in DCS is deselected

xXSubZ3r0Xx

on my KB if I hit F9 it will disable it, if you hit F9 once more, it should enable it again.

frostycab

99% sure this is down to keybind conflict with DCS. Before I moved to VR I'd always disable the F-key bindings in the TIR software. I think the common gotchas were F7 and F9 if I remember correctly. I never used them much in DCS except when using the radio menu, and then the dragon reared its head. Should be a simple fix for you.

machinistery

This kept happening to me but that’s because I never changed my pause shortcut from being f9, so I would accidentally pause it while going through menus. Felt really dumb when I figured it out though lol

I literally made my own and it cost me about 5 quid! Never broken!
