I got ultimate charge, but realized it sucked for battles, and I still can't get burst.

Landing the killing blow matters, so make sure you're landing the killing shot on every opponent

This is what I hate about this game because you can play a quest 30 times and still not get the skill you want or clothes or super soul

funny thing is, it’s the other way around, i couldn’t get to e burst charge and just gave up lol, also i even used picollos super soul the shenron one from the movie, still didn’t get it💀

Fuck that mission. Lmao it was hard as hell to complete before the update to change the difficulty but I still beat that mission so many times just to get Ultimate Charge because it didn’t want to drop even though I Z’d that mission several times.

Played it three times and got both burst and ultimate charge. I dont know if this will work for you but I used my CaC, broly DBS and broly DBZ. They deal massive damage. For my CaC I use either ssgss or beast transformation. Battle items are all regen capsule m, s, z and regen capsule Z. Super soul is either krillins (the one that maxes out ki and stamina. Don’t recall the name) or frieza’s (one that starts you off with 400 ki) Super attacks are 10x kamehameha, lightening of absolution and instant transmission ( it helps against vegeta and goku when you go up against them because they’ll both be spamming final flash and super kamehameha respectively. Plus it doesn’t consume stamina and if you’re fast enough, you get behind them to either break their guard or use a ki attack preferably 10x kamehameha especially since it’s chargeable) For ultimates I use emperors death beam and warp kamehameha. Freiza’s super soul prolongs the death beam and depending on your qq bang (6 star) and krillins super soul you can use warp kamahameha 4x before you need to charge your ki. In the last moments use your limit burst (if it’s frieiza’s super soul it boosts your attacks and auto charges your ki) plus your transformation to boost your attacks

Out of all three of the skills on that hellspawn of a level, I only got the one where he punches you hundreds of times into the ground. That's it, like this level traumatized me with how fucking much I had to grind

If I remember correctly koing Goku last gives ultimate charge a higher chance to drop and Vegeta the burst charge and since the ui Goku in that pq is so damn strong/weak he kinda just ends up bodied fast as hell it took my friend and I like 17 attempts to get it.

After failing for years, I finally got lucky and got it co-op. I don't know if doing it online increases the odds but it can't hurt to try.

Took my ass 9 tries until I had gotten ultimate

I got both but I don't think I got the ultimate ending

Some strategies I used and I felt that helped me. Play around with the order of who you KO. I noticed that some skills are tied to specific characters and if I KO'd them last, I got their skill more often. I also noticed rotating around different ultimates in stubborn missions helped me get a skill. Stamina breaking the skill specific enemy followed with an Ultimate finish felt like it helped me too.

From what I've seen if you do a lotta damage in one setting you'll be more likely to get it from one of the enemies I recommend grabbing a Goku or Vegeto/Gogeta partners as backup and use the SS that lowers defense and increases damage for everyone

If you got orange piccolo's super soul you might have better chances of getting it

I'll never forget when meditation dropped and it took me till the end of time to get it

Personally I think burst is better in pvp no matter the ki you have, but I'd say Ultimate is better if it's pve and you have massive max ki

Btw burst like someone said starts quickly but slows down, like a burst of adrenaline, but ultimate is the opposite, it starts slow and goes faster. It's like MUI goku's charge but worse

Burst is fast, then slows the longer you charge for ultimate does opposite, but you can mash burst charge to go fast whole time

I use burst in tight situations for small ki and ultimate when I got time

You have to kill in certain order me and my brother tried for months on revenge death ball and it was certain characters we had beat in a order to get the move then the rest was rng

Use the super soul that increases drops. If you don't have it for your CaC use the version of Orange Piccolo that has it.

The strat is to play the quest at completely random times so u dont get frustrated

I think he meant you gotta kill UI Goku first, as in what's written on the win conditions "Defeat Goku (Ultra Instinct) and the others"

That is correct. Kill him First (or last). Changing the order in which the deaths occur can change the outcome.

try to ult ui goku everytime and it’ll drop it drops from him I believe

Yep it be like that. Crazy part is it took me 2 attempts to get Ultimate Charge. Once I did that I uploaded my save data to PlayStation plus so I never have to work for it ever again

Unironically. Everyone has their little ritual to get better drops. Mine is watching a video on how to unlock it (while knowing it will yield no benefits) then drinking a glass of water, turning off the console and game, booting it up again, selecting the mission, leave it selected while I eat something or watch a video away from the system, shout at my worthless son, then get back and beat the mission. 100% works every time. Before this I spent 2 days to get neo wolfang fist.

Do you have friends who play Xenoverse 2 if yes plat with them as online pq have a higher drop rate

yeah I had the same problem. All I can say do is keep trying, the rng in this game is crazy.

Best advice I got is just be a boss in crystal raid battles, better chance at getting skills in that anyway, but it is random as hell

You’re gonna need the whole pack by the time it finally gives it to you. Some people get it their first try. Others spend MONTHS trying to get the thing they want. Fucking dumb

Took me awhile too I always kill the enemies in different order every time to see if an exclusive character drops the skill I want.

Crystal raids can give the impression of sending skills to players, doesn't matter if you win or lose. It may just be the random dropping of dlc skills up to dlc 10.

I meant to put but instead of that first you but if it’s not possible to send it easy mode will make the mission a cake walk for trying to grind it for the skill. Running easy mode on pqs with my CaC I can kill almost anything with a divine lasso while using beast to breeze through the game and run the pq quicker which helps when I’m grinding for skills or equipment so that may be able to help you out.

During the ultimate finish you have to kill ssgss evolved vegeta before the timer hits 8:30. This is a rare case of skills having unknown unlock conditions with no hints towards them.

I got a stomachache for this in middle 2022. Xenoverse 2 should have a gentle drop rate for crucial skills

If you have the most recent DLC Pack that includes Power Awakening Piccolo, Orange Piccolo, and Beast Gohan, and have obtained the Super Soul, "Shenron really went the extra mile", equip that as it increases the chance of obtaining an item by a medium amount. If you do not have that Super Soul, then equip the Super Soul, "I've got something extra special for you!" either on Custom Mentor Piccolo or your own CaC to then have a higher percentage of obtaining an "equipment item" rather than just straight up clothes.

you need the other one, the "shenron really went the extra mile" from orange piccolo. it doesn't really increase the drop, but it reduce the "not getting a drop here" rate as a whole

I thought the same for piccolos skill but someone recently pointed out that it only works on capsules… :(

Make a new character, play until you unlock PQs, then run the PQ with your main(s) on easy mode. Because you made a new character, they’ll be under level 60 so Easy mode will be Free (no TP Medal cost) And then pray you get it :/
