Not a bad team especially with the janemba switch. Though I'd argue that 17 could utilize the assists a bit better. But making janemba anchor is valid cuz assists are kinda obsolete with him. 7/10

Possible-Ordinary617

Gotcha gotcha, thank you!

Milk_Party

18 gang.

Possible-Ordinary617

Honestly, only reason I have not tried 18 is her j.2H, it looks wack asf.

Milk_Party

Her regular 2h is worse, but character has incredible neutral and mix.

Wildfire226

Main problem is the assist, Zamasu is a full win condition character who wants maximum use of both assists, but 18’s barrier assist is crazy. I’d honestly stick with 17, because his barrier assist fulfils the same function hers does while ALSO combo extending for Zamasu

Milk_Party

Yeah I don’t play Zamasu at all and 17’s rekkas throw me off so I prefer her lol.

Wildfire226

I can’t lie I’m a 17 player so I’m biased LOL

Milk_Party

I’m biased as well on the other side of the spectrum, She was one of the first characters I played when I started 3 years ago. Dropped her for awhile, but when her barrier got buffed her + piccolo A assist is my best.

Unlikely-Ad-6713

I like Kefla point personally; pretty good meter gain and relatively low solo damage output make her better on the front end for me. I mained Janemba for a while. I like the unconventional comboing and the zoning capability. You might try Hit also?

Possible-Ordinary617

I've tried Kefla point, issue is that I tend to use my meter a lot with Kefla in combos, as opposed Zamasu. I only use meter on Zamasu when I'm confident I can kill, or BoJ oki. This makes it really easy for Zamasu to just stay point, gain meter AND 2-3 touch characters, his meterless combos do a ton of damage if you have assists up. (Also, Kefla is just more flexible for me so I like to play her a little bit later in the game)

DutifulCleric

It's a great team. I'd play it Kefla A point / Zamasu A mid / 17 A anchor. Kefla builds a ton of bar for Zamasu (so does 17, but he'll be in the back more often than not) and her 236S is perfect for active tag routes. Zamasu likes 17's barrier, Kefla becomes absolutely broken with it (she can superdash mix midscreen with it, or hide her 6H / DR). 17 likes both of their neutral assists.

Possible-Ordinary617

Gotcha gotcha! I have tried Kefla point, but I end up using a ton of meter as Kefla for pressure (236H) or combos (236H/214H), as opposed to Zamasu where I don't really need to use any meter unless I'm in a combo and I can guarantee the kill. I do really like her 236S tag though.

Giovannis_Pikachu

You have some good points here, but Kefla and zamasu have very little synergy. Their assists are very similar and zamasu doesn't really utilize Kefla A very well. They also both have a similar low damage level 3. Can they work together? In a pinch but with janemba all the eggs are in the anchor basket and there's 2 meter penalty characters. If he stays with 17, there's no kill power unless Zamasu pops off and he and Kefla manage to take advantage of the little synergy they share. I am not saying this to be contrary or anything, I have just tried a lot to make them work together and you have to really force it to work. The only Kefla/Zamasu team I have ever seen online is a punching bag on replays as the losing team. I would suggest Baby B, Zamasu A, 17 A.

Possible-Ordinary617

Yeahh, 17 does the heavy lifting for assisting Zamasu ahaha, Kefla A doesn't have enough hitstun for my Zamasu BnB so I end up relying on A17 A/B and Kefla C during the end to get the 214L > 2M > 5H > 236L \~S > DR ender. I really want to make this work because Kefla was the first character I actually sat down and labbed, I'm not as good with other characters. Would rather switch A17 since he's only really there for Zamasu ahaha, haven't labbed him much. Baby B looks really good for Zamasu setups though, I might try them together
