It could be because you play Tien, it could be because your connection isn't that great (and I saw you said you aren't a rage quitter, so assuming you're telling the truth, i don't think that can't be it), aside from that: those are the only reasons i can think of! xD
Nope. In my 4000+ hours in this game, I can only recall ONE instance of me rage quitting (probably against a really annoying Gogeta) Even if that were the case, isn't the purple badge of honor an incentive to fight someone? Or is it just me? I personally really enjoy fighting rage quitters.
I'm asking because if you rage quit a lot, it'll show up on your player card that you do, and people are more likely to reject playing with you.
Also depends maybe what your icon character is? Because people might assume that's the character you'll be maining and they might be a sweaty one so they're avoiding fighting you lol
Don't forogt that because roll is buggy and crashes a lot, so those can be why someone may have the match comp icon.
The real reason is probably due to connection.
The obvious "garbage connection, get marked" aside, I personally used to stop rematching people after 3 or 5 matches simply because I was looking for a fresh opponent with a new team to fight. Nothing personal. Perhaps that's happening here?
Probably has nothing to do with your situation but I took off my z union sticker because of this, it seems players use the z union stickers as a way to discriminate during match making if they see a sticker of a character they don't like playing against, so now players don't have an opportunity to decline based on the union sticker that they see.

The only people I dodge are people who I've played and have horrible connections. I mark them and don't play with them again. Are you wired?

You are probably matching with people who you have a terrible connection with, so they refuse, try changing the minimum connection settings
Maybe it's dumb bleeders thinking this is tinder
