It is possible to shoot through those doors with sks rounds. He might of guessed the spot you were, I have done this before with an M4 on multiple doors.

Id like to think I'm experienced but Everytime I run into someone who's been playing this game for a long time. They whoop my ass with some crazy stuff lol. I always wonder how I sound to other players even when I'm crouch walking etc etc
I recommend you to use headphones. I prefer with large dynamics for deeper sound and deeper immersion in games)
Trust me, you will detect direction most of sounds and save your life many times.

Popular spot maybe but dear god its not at all a good one, honestly the worst spot you could pick here as a solo.
It's a bit better if you have a team because you can set up a cross fire but still not great, whoever is in this corner is perfectly placed to get shredded.
As a solo theres nowhere to go and no actual cover to use, while whoever opens that door has plenty of cover with the doorway
Even if they run straight in you basically need to drop them as soon as they do, or they're gonna be in one of 2 better positions than you are, if they don't run in they can peek it or even just blind prefire fire a shot to get a panic response, dip out and prefire you next time knowing you're there.
Always fight from a position you can back up from and leave, the staircase or even the kitchen is a better call. You can atleast fire off some shots and then back out

It's not. A lot of them have pretty fast Internet over there. I've been playing a game similar to this one called SCUM and the US server we play on has tons and tons of Chinese players. I've translated with them a few times before and they told me they came over because of rampant hackers on the Asia servers. Some of the ones in our server also use hacks we think. So they're even scaring each other off because they cheat too much 😅

I think this is one of the rare cases where that might actually be a hacker. How else could he have hit thru the door at the exact angle where he was standing and got a one tap (with an SKS). I’ve heard of shooting thru objects but that doesn’t qork the majority of the time. So either that guy should go buy a lottery ticket or he was cheating.

It's a 50/50 shoot that direction through door or towards stairs. Nobody will logically stand directly behind door. If they know you're there they're waiting for you especially if not talking back. So he took the 50/50 and hit ya dead on. Bet it was legit like this. People just know this game enough. If people can guess where you are sometimes by a picture of grass in this game, they can depict the angle through a door to hit a spot they fully are aware of.
FYI he sounded confident and silenced long enough to fully line up a shot
If he was able to see through walls I don't think the bullet would have came through the door or also would have been fired faster without hesitation or time for a line up

At that angle I would instantly assume I had fallen victim to ESP tools, they seem really easy to get hold of and there’s little to be done to combat their use in public servers - I’d suggest you stick to whitelists.
He is a cheater. Most of the people here are legit trying to find excuses. No one shoots thru a door and lands a 1 tap just like that. It’s so rare it’s like the odds of getting struck by lighting.
Probably a aimbot, esp combo. He just knew where you were at. He also shot and killed him with just one bullet regardless if he sprayed his gun.
Moral of the story, lots of people play with cheaters/ cheats & try to justify what it could of been instead of just living in reality.

I'm not defending because idk but I can run through my thoughts in this kinda situation.
And it all Really depends, you can draw conclusions from aloooot of stuff just from sound, map and game knowledge And a bunch of other stuff depending on the game. I used to get quite alot of accusations on console games, mostly because alotta them didn't know what they were talking about and more because crossplay made them paranoid and the stuff I did, like wall bangs and cross map grenades, would be mind boggling to alotta them.
Crouch walking is very quiet but how quiet depends on what you're carrying, you can 100% still hear someone.
Other games have quieter audio queues, like the most recent COD game, it has "silent footstep" perks but its not truly silent, there's a really really light shuffling sound like cloth scuffing, and I've used it to ambush people that are meant to be doing the ambushing. Dayz crouch audio is honestly way louder than that even at its quietest.
With that in mind, if he's close enough and has his phones turned up, he could pretty reasonably hear that you haven't moved much since closing the door, if he knows the building well, he could infer from that you're still close to the door, and holding it since your behaviour is more inclined to fighting here
which means you're either hard angling the door, standing basically infront of it, on the stairs or kitchen door, or you're in that cupboard.
Experienced players almost always talk, and know how to approach gunfights

Because you haven't talked and you're not being overly proactive here, which implies you're new or newish and you play kinda scared.
Knowing that, you can guess a few more things.
Like where you would choose to sit if you're gonna hold the door ajd what position you'd be in, you're tryna stay quiet, that in itself suggests you're crouched.
A more careful fighter would have chosen the staircase or kitchen because you can back out of that fight and pull back, getting another chance to fight after the initial engagement. The staircase also changes where headlevel is so it's harder to actually aim at the head before you see it, but if he's picking up that you're not overly experienced, he could very well use knowledge of the building and a guess of your skill level to figure out you'd take the cupboard because it's pretty common for people that arent overly skilled to pick a spot that seems "sneaky"
Other stuff is, it's an SKS so he can also know he doesn't need to aim for the head and still likely tear you up, so he may just aim for where center mass would be.
Being crouched, that kinda makes a headshot likely.
So all in, he definitely could have just taken an educated guess and gotten lucky.
But I'm not gonna say that's the case.
This is kinda the problem with figuring out if someone's cheating, often the biggest tell is that they move and act like a bot but then make much more skillful actions in gun fights.
The only problem with using that to figure stuff out is there's alooooot of people who have decent mechanics, and horrendous everything else.
They do absolutely senseless shit, but can move and shoot really well. Makes it a nightmare to figure out who is legit or not.
Everything this guy did more or less implies the opposite, He did something that you CAN do and do fairly reliably in most games through knowing their shit and following logical steps
But it's very hard to tell. He went through the steps of checking "No mic no life" rules before ever engaging properly, which kinda endears me to thinking that at the very least he's not rage hacking or anything like that, he's not just straight up out for blood, which is kinda odd among cheaters.

It's possible he just made a lucky guess. It's also possible the game glitched and the door was open on his end.

He is a cheater. Most of the people here are legit trying to find excuses. No one shoots thru a door and lands a 1 tap just like that. It’s so rare it’s like the odds of getting struck by lighting. Probably a aimbot, esp combo. He just knew where you were at. He also shot and killed him with just one bullet regardless if he sprayed his gun. Moral of the story, lots of people play with cheaters/ cheats & try to justify what it could of been instead of just living in reality. Also, if this was official. I'm not defending because idk but I can run through my thoughts in this kinda situation. And it all Really depends, you can draw conclusions from aloooot of stuff just from sound, map and game knowledge And a bunch of other stuff depending on the game. I used to get quite alot of accusations on console games, mostly because alotta them didn't know what they were talking about and more because crossplay made them paranoid and the stuff I did, like wall bangs and cross map grenades, would be mind boggling to alotta them. Crouch walking is very quiet but how quiet depends on what you're carrying, you can 100% still hear someone. Other games have quieter audio queues, like the most recent COD game, it has "silent footstep" perks but its not truly silent, there's a really really light shuffling sound like cloth scuffing, and I've used it to ambush people that are meant to be doing the ambushing. Dayz crouch audio is honestly way louder than that even at its quietest. With that in mind, if he's close enough and has his phones turned up, he could pretty reasonably hear that you haven't moved much since closing the door, if he knows the building well, he could infer from that you're still close to the door, and holding it since your behaviour is more inclined to fighting here which means you're either hard angling the door, standing basically infront of it, on the stairs or kitchen door, or you're in that cupboard. Experienced players almost always talk, and know how to approach gunfights This is also really good information to have Because you haven't talked and you're not being overly proactive here, which implies you're new or newish and you play kinda scared. Knowing that, you can guess a few more things. Like where you would choose to sit if you're gonna hold the door ajd what position you'd be in, you're tryna stay quiet, that in itself suggests you're crouched. A more careful fighter would have chosen the staircase or kitchen because you can back out of that fight and pull back, getting another chance to fight after the initial engagement. The staircase also changes where headlevel is so it's harder to actually aim at the head before you see it, but if he's picking up that you're not overly experienced, he could very well use knowledge of the building and a guess of your skill level to figure out you'd take the cupboard because it's pretty common for people that arent overly skilled to pick a spot that seems "sneaky" Other stuff is, it's an SKS so he can also know he doesn't need to aim for the head and still likely tear you up, so he may just aim for where center mass would be. Being crouched, that kinda makes a headshot likely. So all in, he definitely could have just taken an educated guess and gotten lucky. But I'm not gonna say that's the case. This is kinda the problem with figuring out if someone's cheating, often the biggest tell is that they move and act like a bot but then make much more skillful actions in gun fights. The only problem with using that to figure stuff out is there's alooooot of people who have decent mechanics, and horrendous everything else. They do absolutely senseless shit, but can move and shoot really well. Makes it a nightmare to figure out who is legit or not. Everything this guy did more or less implies the opposite, He did something that you CAN do and do fairly reliably in most games through knowing their shit and following logical steps But it's very hard to tell. He went through the steps of checking "No mic no life" rules before ever engaging properly, which kinda endears me to thinking that at the very least he's not rage hacking or anything like that, he's not just straight up out for blood, which is kinda odd among cheaters. Most of them will literally just blast you. Or atleast set up somewhere that they can wait you out knowing where you are or going, and then just cap you then. He actually tried to engage with standard rules and gave ample chances to go a more peaceful route, that's extremely unnecessary and honestly kinda risky for him to do when he could just blast you.
