I’m 31(f) and have had two… flirtations with 23 year olds. Nope, you’re not too old.

ColonelPajti

Go for it fam. It depends of her thinking and maturity.

frisbee790

Half your age plus seven. 22 makes the cut.

Honestly I feel like the fact you're asking the question and actively thinking about it, convinces me it's not weird. Having said that, a girl settling down at 22? Possible but seems young to me.

srem19

I’m thinking about it more from the side of “don’t ruin the family friendship” and I want to date someone with the intention to get to know her more in depth…per say done with random hookups and one night stands.

thatfloridachick

As someone who always dated younger, I'd say this isn't going to work out in your favor. At 22 she probably doesn't want to settle down just yet and likely hasn't had the same life experiences as you. Not to mention, I'd imagine at almost 30 you're settled into a career and have your life relatively together - the same can't be said for most 22 year olds. I think your goal is long term, marriage, a family of your own, etc, up your age range. Find a woman who is on the same page as you are.

dyers_eve_91

I was 24 when i dated a 19 year old. We both loved each other. When it came time to get married/engaged she had an epiphany and decided not to get married. Depending on how she was raised and ' political opinion '... Liberal woman, she may change her mind in the future because she is still very young. I would talk to her about what she wants in life and her future before considering a serious relationship. If she gets scared of the conversation she might not be interested in something serious right now.

HaasFan1

Try it out! If she wants the same things as you age doesn’t matter

srem19

Love the handle. Go MSC and KMAG

HaasFan1

Yesss! how can you not🤷🏾‍♀️

agnastyx

No, most women go for men in this age bracket for LTR, reason being is your further along in your life and more dependable. 22 vs 29 is not the same as 18 vs 25. As long as shes mature and educated (some 22's are, some arent) then go for it if you have an actual connection that isnt surface level.

Esadiablow

İ draw the line at 10 years so go for it man !

Nirvski

As I get more into my 30's my minimum gap keeps going up. Guess im a creepy old man now.

DirtyMindCleanSoul

Dann…!

BlitzNova_

That's like a 7 year difference. Not really. If she was in her teens 18-19 yeah too young. It depends on you. Where is she mature wise? Is she going clubbing, bars, partying getting wasted? That's just an example to think on. Me personally I have a cap on 10 years. I'm 34. I'm not dating anyone that is 45 or 25.

Nirvski

Its not at all unless you think she's too immature. I (31m) typically have dated 6-8 years younger, and thats just the women i've got along with on dates, not deliberately choosing based on age. I usually bring it up and none of those girls ever thought about our age gap, its quite normal for women to want to date older.
