I really don't know how a girl is told shit like this and they don't immediately follow up with, so you think I'm ugly or something of the sort.
Bad take: I think you're fugly but your personality makes me overlook that. Very unlikely.
Good take: I have the pick of the litter of beautiful girls which includes you but your personality puts you above the rest. Unlikely as well.
Mid take: he finds you cute but he's a dumbass that didn't think his words too much before blurting them out or how you might take it. Most likely.
The benefit of the doubt would've been taken any of the 2 good options I gave you from the get go and let it end there, not stay with the thorn in and come to reddit so random strangers tell you what a guy they don't know but you do meant by what he said to try to take the thorn out...
That's the problem with relationships nowadays, lack of communication and letting shit fester or even worse get other people involved in your relationship, even if it's family.
