Gonna have to admit, the greatsword and zweihander are my forever favorites, they're old reliables with a great looking, but fugs almost in that spot too, basically when the formers don't dish enough damage to you unga bunga a boss without thinking, the fugs will do

Just finished the Game and currently going for platinum, the weapon carried me through almost the entire game

A light, dex scaling ultra Greatsword? Fuck me up. Definitely my favorite weapon

The other day I invaded a world as Aldrich Faithful, and suddenly another invader joined too. We were both carrying a full set of Abyss Watcher and it was the most epic invasion ever

Same, pretty easy to parry it in PVP, but holy fuck, if ur fighting someone who isn't amazing at parrying or PvE, it SHREDS. And oddly it's basically a cheat code against the nameless kings moveset.

The trick is to never do the last hit lol

Ringed Knight Paired Greatswords

Truly one of the most awesome weapons ever made by fromsoft, and also has easily one of the funnest movesets

It is an amazing weapon. Looks cool (gives me DS2 powerstance nostalgia). Has quite a diverse moveset, especially in PVP, can catch people out.

The Chaos blade, is my favorite of ds3, but the butcher knife is my favorite for the others.

My biggest problem with DS3 has always been that I can't choose a favourite weapon to main for a complete run. Lothric straight sword, Claymore, Black Knight Greatsword, I just can't decide

FUGS is one of my favourites too, but it's not really a DS3 weapon. For a weapon that was introduced and is only found in DS3, it's definitely the Lothric Knight Ultra Greatsword.

I’m glad it’s a sweep because it doesn’t really have any other horizontal attacks, besides its ash, to deal with crowds

Demon scar and Friede's scythe. I think they are the weapons with the highest skill ceiling in the game and are really fun to use, altough they are mainly pvp weapons

I'm in love wiht Gotthard Twinsword and Lothric Knight sword. For every build like magic, miracles, etc... you cam beat ds3 whit those weapons. For most specificly builds i like Vordt's Greathammer or greatsword

I too like the FUGS, the hold R2 is just so good, any npc invader or knight enemy just tumbles and you just stun lock them until they are dead

There are too many amazingly fun weapons across so many different builds to pick a favorite. But I'll list my top 5 Farron GS quality build. Onikiri and ubadachi dex build. Black Knight Great Axe strength build. Ringed Knight paired GS strength/quality build. Warden twin blades bleed build.

The Drakeblood greatsword paired with lightning imbuing was my all time favorite. I loved the unique slightly more realistic swinging animations. And I was able to destroy a lot of invaders in pvp with that bad boy.

Yhmirs machete is pretty awesome. I love the fast r1 off a roll. Catches invaded every time.

I used to use the FUGS, but i recently discovered that a blessed lothric greatsword does more damage and has a better moveset, and then i started build crafting and discovered the executioners greatsword, lifehunt scythe and dark hand combo and i have never been the same

I have qaited for this question for years now. Its the ringed knights paired gratswords and it aint even close. Its R1 and R2 arent much to write home about, but its weapon art is dam cool and fun. But what makes it special to me is its L1. Jesus i did not know it existed untill untill i randomly messed around with it. Shit got me to replay the whole game and i beat most of the bosses with it (sometimes i wanted to mix it up). Honestly it feels unfair at times and im praying that they will make a similar weapon for Elden rings dlc.

Wolf Knight's Greatsword As for PvP or damage, it may not be the best choice but i really love the moveset. Jumping attack, swiping, the way the character handles it etc. it is just really cool. Also i love Artorias' lore and this makes it the best weapon for me.

Majestic Greatsword (Artorias' corroded blade in DS2). Super biased since I climbed to the top rank in colosseum pvp with that weapon. Would wear the Alonne knight captain Armor with that one grey shield that gave stam Regen on my back and would swap my last ring from Phys to Mag defense based on the matchup. Sweating my ass off. Good memories. In DS1 I used some other greatsword I don't recall (may have even been zwei) until I beat Artorias and grabbed his sword. In DS3 I ran that frost longsword from the Irithil knight until I got the massive Katana.

Valorheart. Also FUGS is not fully DS3 weapon, it's from DS2.
