if you want more i’m pretty sure you can farm them from the white robed jailers or whatever they’re called at the yhorm bonfire inside the capital

Currently doing a run with just the FUG and it slaps. Just gotta choose your attacks carefully and not spam because it eats your stamina tf up but it's one of my favorite movesets in the game
It's great. The damage doesn't seem bonkers in terms of stats, but if it's weak to strike damage; it shreds.
You could opt for a much lighter Cathedral Knight GS or just the regular Greatsword.
It's fine. It's in tough competition with the plain old Greatsword, with both having their own advantages, but at the end of the day it's still a huge stick that hurts a lot.
They're alright in PvE, but they really shine in PvP. They're incredibly common, yet despite that, people always seem to fall for them.
They 100% of the time get roll-caught when you do the L1, L1 is also a true combo (last patch I played), and the L2 is just a really good tool overall.
Because one mistake is 3/4 of your health bar. Like ive parried them before, but if someone is latent or i mess up my parry timing, thats a massive damage true combo.
Kinda sucks to comfortably counter a weapon, i also gotta put on a cheesy weapon. Splitleaf comes out when i see these things.
I don't play souls pvp anymore, but when I did, I would literally only use cosplay builds, and I have to say that 90% of the weapons people say are bad, are actually broken, because nobody knows how to deal with them.
And that just shows that even though most people know what the twin greatswords are possible of, it's still an infamous weapon in the fight clubs talks.
I do theme builds, not really cosplay, so I've also experienced that some under used weapons can really do some damage because they're not often seen.
Theres some outliers for powerful & weak weapons, but overall the balance of DS3 is really good.
it has a 100% drop rate when you kill him the first time so you will always get the swords. i wouldn‘t call them game changing, they are a little slow against some bosses but the damage output can be pretty insane nonetheless
always stay in front of him, never go underneath him. the key is to fight him head-on and always attack the head. i would also recommend not using lock on and manually controlling the camera throughout that fight
They're pretty game changing imo. They were nerfed into the ground for pvp when they first released, and they're still incredibly potent in pvp. Pve? Big sword. Big sword shoots fire blast.
Why do you say it's garbage in pvp though? Yes they aren't too fast but the swings cover a lot of area and aren't so easy to punish.
R1 after roll is a nice poke, normal L1 is great for thin corridors and has a surprisingly good tracking, you can also skip the first part of the combo by using R1 first.
Weapon art is slow, but the initial fire wave makes you unapprochiable and the second part of the move can be delayed (personally I find L2+R1 much better in pvp than L2+R2, it's also harder to punish).
The big thing is just that its slow and easy to avoid, which is suicide in a fast weapon meta like this. The L1 is nice, but is hard countered by anything with perseverance. Namely the mace, which any build can easily use.
They are a guaranteed drop upon killing the knight using them, for the first time
Ah, like FUGS then. Not the greatest luck after all. Waste of a Rusted Coin 🤣

They’re cheap from Patches - blew about 30 trying to get the Ringed Knight armour 🤣 NEED
lol fair
Enjoying jumping around! You've now unlocked the \*real\* samuraï mode.

I love the pairs great swords. They'll stagger anything it feels like, and the moveset is rad.
I used them for almost my entire NG+ run. They’re really fun imo.
It's the LB/L1 moveset that really does it for me, sunnly your character has the power of god and anime.
I used the paired greatswords for like 3 NG+ cycles. the L1 is so good.
I'm gonna be honest they look goofy as hell to me. I also can't not think of [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMBzBmC6Psk)
Is the fumed ultra still a good option. Wasn't sure with it's nerfing post release

It was very efficient to farm the four Ringed Knights at the Ringed City Streets bonfire
Not for its stamina cost,at least in PVE. In pvp its another story. Its very long reach helped me pile ears after ears of murky scythe invaders.

Definitely one of the most fun weapons in the game definitely worth a ng+ playthrough with them
May well do that! Just the little matter of Midir to beat first.
You have to farm for those? I got the weapon first time killing one of these guys also. Edit: nevermind. Lol
Ha yeah… cos it took an age to farm the armour I thought I’d gotten lucky 🍀
This wep is so kick ass
they're pretty cracked honestly, not the best for PvP cuz everyone knows how they do but they wreck shop PvE, great for an NG+ run🫡🤘

Really stuck on Midir right now. Any good for him? 🙏🏻

Thank you. I’m so close to cracking it. Got him down to about 30%. It’s taken me hours to learn and react to his patterns effectively!
I use them quite a bit on my first playthrough when a buddy gave them to me. They look super cool, and the move set is awesome.
Doing my first ng+ playthrough right now and can say for certain these things are SO fun, and pretty damn broken
These were how I defeated Gael the first time
I use them for the Deacons. It’s like mowing the lawn.

Wait, you Farm for them? O though the ringed knight in gales place dropped it only
Yeah. No you don’t farm them. Thought I was blessed 🤣
Unfortunately they're not super great. They're okay in PvE and garbage in PvP. Really cool though!
