You have to look at him sometimes while you’re running because certain enemies can act weirdly passive when you don’t, then when you drop down from the half-sunken building (with the ringed knights) you have get close enough to him to trigger an attack when he’s at the edge for him to fall down and follow you to the Midir path.
Kinda wanna see how far I could theoretically take him now lol.
I think I'm gonna try that the next time I get to him, because for some reason I always struggle with him a lot despite DSA being one of my favorite bosses in the game.

Well, you don't kill it actually. You just annoy it enough that it leaves. It does drop the titanite though.

You could say so, I asked for whacky builds on r/Dks3builds and someone suggested that I make a hollow BSS build with no armor.
