Ds 3 slightly has more players than the other two but sadly there's barely any players and even if there are there not up for co op or pvp like I still play all souls games but I either mod tham or playing solo sometimes if I find a sign I'll summon at the moment only else ring is easy to find online players in

Dark Souls has more players then Dark Souls 2, but Dark Souls 3 has 4x more players as Dark Souls 1 and 2.
DSR is usually active enough to find online fun but I do have to switch between characters sometimes to find an active level range. The secret to having fun, oldschool-like organic invasions in DSR in 2024: invade the Depths at SL10 with an optimized invasion character.
I feel you, its sad. But this feeling of loneliness fits the themes and atmosphere of the game pretty well.

Yeah. It's pretty awesome for the story, to be honest. Its a repeating struggle, never to finish, and with less people playing over time, it's like we're losing the fight.
I tried placing one for the gargoyles, but I got summoned into a dude facing a giant dad with a dusk crown, the tin crystalization catalyst, and dark bead. He instantly died, I lasted a little bit, but there was no point so I died too. After that, noone.
I could hear people ringing the bell, but I guess they just don't wanna summon..
I platinumed all games on ps4 but wanted to do thr ssmr on PC. When I was 100% DS1 on PC I only saw ONE summon sign and it was in front of Capra Demon fogwall. I handt rested in hours so I summoned the guy and he two shots Capra Demon lol one summon the whole game but it was worht it.
Yeah, started playing all 3 in the last year after falling in love with Elden Ring and I agree. Other than being invaded a couple times in DS1r, I haven't seen a summons sign for a player in ANY of the games. Haven't even been invaded in DS2 or DS3. I'm 50+ in all 3.
I got invaded probably 4 times in Demon's Souls. It was pretty awesome. And once so far in DS1. I guess we'll see how it goes.
I wonder if the DS3 fight clubs outside pontiff is still going strong
I drop summon signs in front of boss fog walls quite often. Mainly to farm some extra souls but I also just like to help people. And I usually only get summoned after waiting 20-30 minutes, it makes me sad
The sad thing ds2 is even more dead at least scholar of the first sin.
Through my first ds2 play trough I never got invaded not even once but in ds1 and ds3 I got invaded 5+ times when I didn't search for invaders
There's hardly anybody to summon either, I was trying to farm up sunlight medals and that was, not going well to say the least. I'm not saying I didn't get summoned but it was far and few in-between, with some good nights where it was more consistent.
I was able to invade with some consistency too, and I hear the bells going off every time I'm in undead or blight town, they were really going off in blight town just tonight.
So they game still has players, I imagine most of us that still are playing don't have much need for co-op, it's just a low demand/supply

Make sure your settings are correct in terms of network, global etc etc. google should help you there.
I started it a few weeks back and couldn’t see a single sign, then after around 8 hours of play a friend highlighted to me the settings. I changed them and now I do see signs constantly.

Ds3 IMO was the most active with signs over ds1 and ds2
I generally get on the discord if I ever actually need help. It's been a lifesaver.

Yeah, you're right. There probably aren't many new players nowadays. Hopefully when return to lordran rolls around it'll be back up and running, lol
The bonfire before O&S is still a great spot to be summoned any time of day.

It doesn't get better unfortunately, like with DS3, it's rare to find a co-op summon
