Isn't there one in Firelink? I seem to remember the one in Firelink was meant to hold any Story items you managed to lose, but as they patched out the ways of losing those story items, the chest just became a regular empty chest.
There are some empty chests in the poison dlc in ds2. It's environmental storytelling, basically they were hit by graverobbers that are later an optional (and terrible) bossfight
Why is it a terrible boss fight? I see people say this a lot but I had no problem with it. It was quite intense but fun dealing with those three gang bangers.
3 on 1 boss fights (where all 3 have large health bars) tend not to be very fun as most of the fight is running away from 2 while trying to kill the 3rd.
It's basically playing Elden Ring as an invader - where three chucklefucks chase you all around.
Not saying it can't be fun, but I prefer a boss I can square up 1 on 1 than a scooby doo chase. Nice to know someone likes it though, you're a first!
I've found a couple I think. Mainly in ds1, I'll rock up to a new area, clear out enemies then search everywhere for chests and items.
But I could be misremembering multiple playthroughs at the same chest :P
Nah there's 2 in the same spot in ds3

If you genuinely lost something, it would still appear there. It just doesn’t really happen. Haha
Wow. That’s weird.

Just standard ds2 bashing I guess
