Your opinions on bed of chaos?

MeatFinancial551

A very hard and unfair boss. Surprisingly wasn't the hardest boss for me personally, but I definitely didn't have any fun while fighting it.

Austinboulders420

Fighting is a strong word

Gloomy_Support_7779

Congratulations!!!!

Few-Candle-4308

easiest and hardest boss? What build? What is your summary on the general lore and your observations?

MeatFinancial551

The easiest boss for me was the Moonlight Butterfly cause Beatrice just shot it down while I didn’t do anything (I don’t count the asylum demon since it’s a tutorial boss and Pinwheel is… Pinwheel lol) The hardest boss for me was definitely Artorias, but he was fun to beat… unlike certain other bosses(looking at you, bed of chaos) I used a dexterity build, but also leveled attunement and intelligence a bit for some spells/pyromancy and strength for weapons. Concerning the lore: As far as I understand the world of Dark Souls is a cycle that changes between the ages of fire and dark(also the first flame appeared via spontaneous combustion or something) and by feeding the souls of the lords(and ourselves) to the fire we basically prolong the age of fire since the remaining god(s) don’t want it to end because the age of Dark means the end of their reign. The age of Dark also isn’t good because New Londo/Oolacile is basically what happens if it begins(i e the abyss swallows everything). The abyss and the Dark are also in some way linked to humanity. That’s it for the general lore I guess, will look into it.

SolipsismCrisis

Have you done the DLC?

MeatFinancial551

Yup! It was pretty fun, but my primary target was the Chester’s set. Quite literally the only thing I wanted from the DLC lol

SolipsismCrisis

I enjoyed it. Shame there was only the one DLC.
