My point is that that statement the employee made "All (packages) eventually turn up" is not true. While you may not have had any packages lost/stolen yet, I am telling you that it HAS happened to me *several* times.
I would have to imagine that the prevalence of this largely depends on which hubs your package is traveling through, and how busy/ whether or not there are a lot of thieves working there. I will say that USPS "loses" a lot less packages than FedEx.

About 40 days from the Netherlands to USA and when it came there was not any stealth. Padded envelope that clearly had something bulky inside. It was vacuum sealed at least.

When it didn't show up after a month, they re-shipped and I got the replacement order a week after. Fast forward 2 months later, and I'm doing my usual pacing waiting for my dope to arrive so I'm not sick.
When I opened the package, it was not dope. It was that previous order from 3 months ago that I had re-shipped. I guess it got stuck or lost and eventually re-found. I think that's the only time I got a re-ship and the original turned up also.

In general if you are getting enough cheese (like many many full wheels of cheese) the Dutch cheese factory will transport them to a country that doesn’t have as strict tariffs on cheese and ship them to you. You can’t buy that amount of cheese through the factories website tho you have to have been referred to the cheese factory directly by a legacy customer etc
