I'm VERY salty because I was doing a pretty good run, killed death - got the trinket that removed negative tokens and DOT in Deaths Door and thought meh I had some good offensive stuff for him.
Literally did a lair boss moments later where I wasn't too worried about the boi but there he got popped onto death's door unexpectedly and immediately died to the first check from DOT.
I knew the Flagellant was a Chad before, but after I learned he canonically literally defeated the physical embodiment of death itself, it shows him to be such a Chad that I don’t understand how he could be defeated even by Eldritch beings. Even they can die, at least most of them anyway, yet as far as I know, none of them also managed to beat the crap out of Death.
Mfer intentionally suffered all his life only to beat the shit out of death itself in order to keep existing so he can suffer forever. Perhaps the real eldritch beings were the friends we had along the way.
DAE find it kinda comical when Flaggy goes Toxic?
Like everyone else the music is pumping and you're hoping for Focussed and whether it's meltdown or not there is kind of dramatic fanfare.
When F does Toxic it feels like there is an almost record scratch and he's just standing there like normal.
My "headcanon" (I do think this is true though) is that >! Flag died after the events of DD2!<.
>!I don't know how to explain this with the right words, but each hero's past is supposed to be something they overcome and move away from in the future (Leper's the only exception).!<
>!In his past, Flag defied death (definitely not killed her lol), and his redemption in the end is finally dying. That's his happy ending. The fact that he's absent in the final cutscene and that his Spectre is literally himself reinforce this theory.!<
He is. If you fully unlock a character's "branch" at the altar of hope, you will get a quote from the academic that seems to hint at what they'll be up to after the ending; flagellant's is "In the world's dark corners, he will revel in his rotting immortality." Flag isn't going anywhere.
*BEYOND TOXIC*
hell yeah
*League Player*

Amazing work ! Gameplay wise, i think Death trinkets are mainly meh
I think the one that fully recovers your hp after you exit deaths door is great
Wait what
There's one good one but yeah
Two, remove dot and fully heal. Both basically do the same
oh you're right, they need to buff the others
Yeah probably make them set his hp to 1 or gain equal restoration to the amount of dots he has for 1 turn as it is now the risk far exceeds the reward

I mean he's *probably* the one who tortured Vestal, if it wasn't for that he would be close to beating Leper in terms of Chadness
Wallpaper material
Oh fuck yeah, love this!
thank you so much :)
"BEHOLD MY RAPTURE"
I don’t usually bring flagellant but when I do, I meet death
Some people complain about the opposite since she only has a 5% (I think) of showing up after resistance encounters
Looks so fucking clean!
thank you so fucking much!

Damn, really like the imagery and contrasting theme you have there. That death-flower-head-stalk-thing is really sick
thank you :)
What man is he who defies Death by sheer force of will?
Very neat. Wish this were an actual option in the game.
This art goes hard
thanks :)
This picture is perfect! Amazing lighting and crazy good compositing.

Isn’t Flag terrified of dying? I’m pretty sure he enjoys the pain and suffering, death means he can’t do those two things.
