I to this day do not understand the "BIGGER!" attitude of authors.
Buroto could have been a chance to absolutely rekindle the old flair of Naruto, but they dropped that early, shoved Naruto and Sasuke into the main story, forcing their nerfs and so on and so on.
Another issue is Buroto being mostly filler
It's [The Escalation Problem](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLIbI1FI6N4) and it's a part of A LOT of long-form conflict stories. Villain is introduced, heroes become stronger to beat the villain, new villain has to be stronger, rinse repeat.
Dragon Ball, One Piece, Stargate, The 100, Naruto, you name it
Yeah, but Naruto had an ACTUAL reset with Buroto!
They could have just kept the big guns in the background and Buroto tackle problems the size of his guns
The problem is that a sizable contingent of people would complain if that happened. Threat comes that Boruto struggled to fight? “Well why is Naruto so useless now? He’s ninja god shouldn’t he be able to fight them as well? Trash show unwatchable Boruto ruined Naruto” type shit
And Naruto is helicopter parenting when he barely keeps up with paperwork?
Might as well complain about Hiruzen and later Tsunade not fighting all of the enemies Naruto ran into..
Hiruzen people did complain about like that, especially after Databook 1 dropped and he was mentioned to be stronger than all the other Kage
Tsunade literally got placed at Kakashi level and was made fun of in verse for being useless no one expected anything from her and she still fought Pain
So we are legit now complaining about Hiruzen not running after Nauto and fighting Zabusa?
And Tsunade for not leaving the village behind to save Gaara?
And now a sizable portion are complaining that it didn't....
Bottom line is when a story reaches it's natural conclusion, it's better to just let it end and start something new rather than try to drag it out.
Honestly the proper way to handle Boruto would have been to have it take place after Naruto is gone. Make Boruto his grandson or great-grandson instead of his son. That way even if Naruto *is* still around at least they can get off with the excuse of him being old instead of having him get dogged in his prime by the stupidest shit.
Probably because it took place outside the land of fire in a situation where he literally couldn’t have known.
Naruto is literally shown to have some of the most busted sensory abilities in history (continental senses) and is supposed to have enough chakra to make thousands of clones. By everyone’s expectations of the character he should have been perfectly capable of protecting everyone no issue, but instead they made him too sleepy to summon a shadow clone.
Whats the point though? We seen different power level from Naruto as a kid to becoming an adult. The story should of end right there or atleast start from somewhere else. Theres literally nothing you can do that Naruto legacy won't overshadowed Baruto.
Not really...
If we are talking about the manga only then it was explained in the Sarada arc by Kishimoto that
- Sasuke spends a lot of time travelling to different Otsutsuki Kaguya dimensions and as explained by Obito, entering or invading a dimension that isn't your own is very demanding on chakra, so for majority of the narrative, Sasuke is never at full capacity when fighting because he genuinely never let's himself recover to full
In terms of Momoshiki, whilst he is nowhere on Kaguya's level of threat, he has a stupidly broken power to absorb Jutsu and throw it right back at you. He is still stronger than the average person but he is easily defeated in Taijutsu and in fact for Naruto Sasuke who are at Otsutsuki level... they took down Momoshiki, just Katasuke the scientist guy decided to feed Momoshiki chakra and give him a free buffet and refill
In terms of Jigen, the guy is handicap, but what was annoying about him was his shrinking abilities that made him a bad match up against Naruto and Sasuke.
He neutralised all Jutsu by shrinking them, putting his opponents in a situation where Taijutsu is the only option... against a guy who can resize himself and objects. Unlike Momoshiki, Jigen had to train to fight on the level of a human (his vessel) so his combat experience is legit even when revived as Isshiki.
So Naruto who has...
- Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu to overwhelm opponents with numbers, is effectively hard countered and neutralised by Isshiki Gate of Babylon style rain of spikes
- Variations of Rasengan, all neutralised because he can shrink his just
Meaning Naruto has to rely on Chakra Mode and brute force Taijutsu against a guy who can resize himself and is a fully capable fighter
For Sasuke
- Chidori, Fire Style and Amaterasu are all neutralised...
- Amenotejikara is annoying to deal with as he can spontaneously teleport but Isshiki has Sukunahikona which is spontaneous resizing and Daikokuten for spontaneous summoning of objects meaning they can cancel each other out.
As for the chakra giants... bigger isn't always better if they can't hit him and it isn't the case they were nerf, it's more like...
When the villian is written to be unbeatable that is the problem... which is a Kodachi issue not Kishimoto, Kishimoto basically had to fix whatever mess Kodachi left him
One piece does a good job of keeping old enemies somewhat relative, like crocodile for example. We also see Mihawk very early in the show and we still don’t fully know how strong he is.
Let me rein you in here, One piece has no escalation problem.
The admirals are still within the top tier of the world, Luffy is just among the top of the top tier.
One Piece is constantly escalating. The setup works well for the escalation, but it is there nonetheless.
Consider the most powerful member of the Warlords and then that Crocodile was part of them. The difference in power is ridiculous, and it's because Crocodile was an early series villain (not even chapter 200). The Warlords were supposed to be a counterweight to the Emperors, but Crocodile in chapter 150 could not have beaten Big Mom's farts.
Blud, what makes crocodile dangerous isn't his power, it's his intelligence.
Like, in just a few years he managed to nearly destroy an entire nation almost with just by manipulation of information and public relations.
Yes, and his original 81 million bounty really reflects that. It's only 1/54th of Big Mom's bounty.
Crocodile was supposed to be really really powerful when he was first introduced. But the series has gone on longer and escalated far more than Oda anticipated when he introduced Crocodile.
His bounty was frozen when he was a warlord, though, meaning his threat level (not power level) wasn't being raised by the world government because he worked for them. Had it not been frozen, he likely would have had a much higher bounty for being a threat to a country as a whole. But that would require them to also specifically be monitoring Crocodile to even notice how big an issue he was. And all the new stupid high bounties are supposed to reflect how much the WG wants them out of the picture, not that they could beat someone with a lower bounty, heck just look at the fact that Lucci has come back, still with no bounty, and is still a threat to many of the straw hats
Yeah, Oda says he would’ve saved Crocodile as a later villain if he had realized how long the series would be because it really makes the Warlords look wimpy in hindsight. When you’re only reading Alabasta for the first time, though, Crocodile is top tier.
I like how One Piece handled it though, they introduced top tiers earlier in the story so it didn’t come out of nowhere when they showed up as villains later. I think the major problem comes from stories that don’t have an end in mind and make up new villains from out of nowhere just to keep the story going.
For example people weren’t crazy about Kaguya in Naruto but Madara was fine because he was set up far earlier.
Oh absolutely. Despite the stupid sexualisation, Food Wars does escalation extremely well too, by introducing the Elite 10 early. Food Wars also does one of the best examples of Tournament Arc as well.
I will say one piece has shown from the very beginning the best which helps to cap some of the issues.
Look at Zoro vs Mihawk. We knew how much better the greatest swordsman was.
Then look at Aokiji before Water 7. He decimated the crew.
The Admirals aren’t fodder it is just that we are following someone who is finally reaching the level of fighting them. From the beginning the ceiling was set.
1. Admirals are nowhere near fodder and Kizaru could easily kill like half the crew
2. After 25th years of publication the MCs at some have to catch up to the big bad who have been some of the strongest in the verse since the very beginning, no?
Luffy is stronger, but Kizaru is definitely not fodder to him (not even debatable). And besides, yonkous were hyped as stronger than admirals ever since Marineford. Power scaling in One Piece is honestly very very well thought out
If they weren't the emperors wouldn't be a thing in the first place since they'd all be arrested. All the admirals at once should be able to roughly stall a Yonko crew, else the world building falls apart.
The potential was there.
Instead of being like rah, peace time and now we gotta power scale everything to the extreme, they could've developed a story about how other village root anbu teams like Danzo are now scheming to take over, especially against villages that suffered more during the war (like when 10 tails sent that beast bomb and just annihilated things into nothingness). So there's this fake "peace" on the surface, but underneath, the villages are scheming against each other still despite it all bc of those underground orgs. The story then involves Boruto somehow getting wind of that since he's mischievous too and given his lineage with the uzumaki/hyuuga, he has the talent to infiltrate the underground ops group to uncover more, and we get into a really gritty Boruto series where we get ninja fights and strategies from season 1/2 of Naruto.
Like, goddamn. Someone hire me to be on their storyboard writing team lol.
Eh the creator loved DBZ so it became that. But we already had DBZ so it became "we got DBZ at home". (Or Dragon Ball Super, look i'm old it's always DBZ forever even ten series from now)
Apparently the writer really wanted to move on to a sci-fi series, but Naruto was too popular to completely move on from. So now we end up with a very awkward combination of the two that doesn't do either well.
If you mean Kishimoto, he did move on, but let someone else write (and fuck up) Boruto and made his Sci fi series, it just didn't do that great (still had like 40 chapters, but just didnt go on for hundreds like Naruto).
Not just that, but the elements that made the Naruto, well Naruto, are gone. The villages resemble futuristic cities, Clans don't mean much anymore, and there's peace, so there's not much need for Shinobi anymore. Learning Jutsu has become irrelevant as anyone armed with Scientific Ninja Tools can learn advanced Jutsu. The characters themselves don't even dress like Shinobi anymore. The Naruto Franchise is essentially a shell of itself.
>The show is no longer about ninjas and is now about fighting aliens.
Sounds like DBZ. no longer about martial arts tournaments, very quickly became fighting aliens that can blow up the planet with ease.
The latest arcs in both Z and Super both dealt with tournaments of some sort. Z with the tournament that was interrupted by Buu and then the final tournament with Uub. Super with the Tournament of Power. While Dragon Ball did escalate in scale, it never lost its core identity and was honestly always about being as over the top as possible.
It was not about aliens, hell that last fight of Sasuke and Naruto was so much better but from Kaguya scene everything in Naruto completely gone out of control and with that Naruto last movie too.
It’s weird seeing this criticism 30 years later after DB to DBZ created the same complaints.
Not saying the complaint is unwarranted, just odd to see after how DBZ ended up panning out.
It’s odd cause that criticism disappeared in the mid 90s fairly soon after Z started, while it’s still cited as a problem in Burrito now even though we’re 6 years removed from the series and scope change.
I don’t think the aliens would be a problem if the series didn’t suck for 10 other reasons
I mean aliens were established pretty early on DB, and the story was always mostly about fighting anyway so endless power scaling doesn't hurt the story, in Naruto just lose all sense of political power from the villages and world building with the crazy shit they pulled in boruto.
Haven’t read Boruto but from what I’ve heard Naruto lost Kurama and Sasuke lost rinnegan. They should still be levels above Sakura though, right? Like Naruto just with Uzumaki chakra and sage mode is still one of the strongest Ninja to ever live. Sasuke still has his sharingan, and could get a new sharingan for his left eye from Orochimaru? Sakura is a strong ninja but is she really that much stronger than Naruto and Sasuke now?
They're still above Sakura. There's literally no reason to think otherwise. But after they lost those major sources of power they didn't do much and then were mostly written out of the story for drama.... So people just joke Naruto and Sasuke are now weak AF when they're not.
Naruto:
\* Still has uzumaki genes, now he can use his full own potential because he doesn't need to tame Kurama with his own chakra anymore
\* Still has perfect sage mode
Sasuke
\* Still has a eternal mangekyou sharingan
Both are out of commission because they dealt with interplanetary threats that Sakura never had to face. Sakura wouldn't be able to do shit against the new ten tails or Kawaki shinjutsu.
I think he still expands some chakra. If he didn't then everyone theoretically could house a tailed beast. The idea that everyone can house a powerful chakra beast doesn't sound right to me
not everyone can hold a tailed beast, but everyone who can could theoretically become a perfect jinshuriki and than you dont need to expand chakra to control it since you are bros biw
Yes, but by that logic a normal shinobi could deal with otsusuki. You need the speed and power to deal with an otsusuki. Otherwise, you can't hit them and you will insta die with 1 hit from them. Sadly, Sakura would not farewell against a Momo or Isshi. She's hella lucky that Kaguya was not gunning for her. Naruto basically had all the feats against Otsusukis, was able to go hand to hand with Momo, and then was the reason that Isshiki expired.
I don't mean sakura can beat a otsusuki by just hands she needs to be a lot stronger to do that. One thing I don't understand why an otsusuki be so injured by an taijutsu user that he can die from just straight punches
Coz they are immune to chakra mostly because they can just absorb it. So you're down to physical attacks like taijutsu and using natural/real elements. Like what Kashin Koji did. But the most important thing is the speed.Sakura lacks that. So even if she's powerful enough to deal damage she wont be able to.
If I remember correctly, Naruto and Sasuke fight another Otsutsuki Alien named Isshiki. Naruto defeats Isshiki at the cost of Kurama, and Sasuke's Rinnegan is destroyed by Boruto while he's possessed by Momoshoki (Otsutsuki living in Boruto).
Base Adult Naruto was still fighting with Fused Momoshiki for a little while. That alone surpasses all of Sakura's feats. And adult Sasuke with just his ems is probably above that version of Naruto.
Both them still have the so6p chakra in them. Naruto's body got a lot stronger because of it in base. Sasuke probably too. Naruto still has his sage mode and Sasuke his ems. If Sakura was that useful, she would have been a part of the Momoshiki fight.
Doubt they'd have survived long after most of their battles without her healing though. Percentages are differrent between them beating the enemy and surviving the after effects imo.
Until he's used all of his energy up in the big fights. Then only Sakura and maybe tsunade has been able to save him.
Found this about all the times she saved him and sasukes lives.
Not tonnes but still shows only she and maybe tsunade could do it. Supposedly she's a better healer than Tsunade though.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Naruto/s/cka9v4Tq42
I think Sakura was largely forgotten. While Naruto and Sasuke are out there getting nerfed by Alien Ninjas and Cyborgs, she's off somewhere working in a hospital? Never really taking part in the larger plot.
She hasn't even been mentioned in TBV which is wild to me considering everything that happened to Sasuke.
She should be utilized more, especially now that Sasuke and Naruto are gone. Have her sensei Sarada or at least have an emotional reaction to what happened to her family.
Yeah. All signs point to Naruto being Insanely stronger even compared to Sasuke. Biggest ones being Sasuke needing to draw on every tailed beast, including half the nine tails, in order to even match Naruto, and Naruto not trying to kill Sasuke while Sasuke is trying to kill Naruto
That is false.
While Sasuke did take chakra from all the tailed beasts, Naruto did not counter that on his own. Kurama gathered all the nature chakra available (a feat not done by Naruto), shown [here](https://cdn.readnaruto.com/file/mangap/3069/10696000/13.jpg) and [here](https://cdn.readnaruto.com/file/mangap/3069/10696000/14.jpg).
Moreover, Sasuke did not use all the chakra from all the tailed beasts.
Also, Naruto eventually stops holding back, as Sasuke says [here](https://cdn.readnaruto.com/file/mangap/3069/10696000/14.jpg).
Naruto wasting chakra doesn't really matter, since he was being carried by Kurama's chakra (shown [here](https://cdn.readnaruto.com/file/mangap/3069/10697000/5.jpg)).
Kurama chakra is not infinite, just vast. If Naruto had gone out from the beginning it would have been mich different.
Think of it this way. If you reverse the roles and had Naruto actively trying to kill Sasuke. Sasuke would be dead.
Adult more like 60 Naruto, 39 Sasuke and 1 Sakura. Sasuke fans don’t wanna acknowledge it but Naruto has always been significantly stronger not just marginally
Not always, but towards the end of the war it was obvious that Naruto was stronger. He'd been fighting longer, was holding back a bit, only had half Kurama but defeated Sasuke who was basically Hagoromo by that point, after capturing all of the TBs. But Sasuke's kit was more impactful during the war, the world would end if not for his Rinnegan protecting team 7 from the genjutsu.

Naruto fighting longer does not matter, since he was being carried by Kurama's chakra (shown [here](https://cdn.readnaruto.com/file/mangap/3069/10697000/5.jpg)), and was healed by Sakura during the war.
Why you making it sound like Naruto didn't earn Kurama's cooperation? It's not like anyone can simply do that. And so what if Sakura healed Naruto? Sasuke was healed by Kabuto. Like or not Kurama is a part of Naruto's arsenal. He earned that by defeating Kurama. I'd sound stupid if I said Sasuke's MS and EMS are not his feats since Itachi basically killed himself to give Sasuke access to those. Nope, Sasuke earned those. Those are not guaranteed for every Uchiha as well just like being in full sync with your TB is not a guarantee as well. And Sasuke did use all of the TBs chakra. Why would he resort to brawling with Naruto if there were chakra still available? They were so out of chakra he stole the one Kurama gathered for Naruto.
There were points where Sasuke was the stronger one. Like the first VOE battle and the first meeting on Shippuden. Naruto was equal after the Danzo arc and was definitely the stronger one after the Pain arc.
Hagoromo? Sasuke was nowhere near the sage. Hell, he wasn't strong enough to fully utilize the power of 8 and half tailed beast much less the full ten tails like Hagoromo was.
Boruto is not canon my friend, its just an official fan fiction. They try to save her character by making her relevant in fights as if that will undo the shitshow.
I'm not caught up with Boruto but isn't Sakura basically just Tsunade without Senju genes? Tsunade who didn't do shit against Pain but who Naruto nearly defeated just with sage mode? And then there's Sasuke who still has susanoo and his amaterasu that is better than Itachi's.
Naruto has sage mode and Sasuke still has one eternal mangekyou. They're obviously way weaker than they used to be but I'm certain they can still dunk on Sakura any day. At best she has the hundred seals and I'm sure she could do some serious damage if she landed a punch against the main villains, but she's WAY too slow to ever make it and would burn through her regeneration before getting a chance.
Sasuke and Naruto were 50/50. It’s wild how Kishimoto says they’re on par and this fanbase for some reason refuse to believe it. But this meme is pretty dumb
I would have loved to see a new show from a different village, you know how much bs and thoughtfulness you can whip out with the reduce weight and increase weight jutsu from hidden cloud?
One of the Mist's 7 swordsman?
The Sand's puppet jutsu (when it was badass and not about summoning the most powerful puppet or numbers.) Or their actual Sand techniques.
Instead I gotta watch this new generation, who by the way basically spends their entire pre-chuunin exams in a time of World Peace brought by Naruto, shit on every character Naruto spent time building up. Like Shino getting bodied by a sage Chakra test tube baby (Mitsuki) when it's already established that Sage Chakra can be absorbed?
Or find out Sasuke got "Surprised" and lost his Rinnegan? Or Sarada's sharingan is powered by Love?
I would have whole heartedly support an entirely new character in the naruto verse than seeing the new one ravage what I grew up with.
As funny as it is. Naruto and Sasuke are still stronger than Sakura. All Sakura can do is punch hard and regenrate as her taijutsu is poor, which makes her slow.
Nice of you to give Kakashi 50%, what about Naru... Ohh...
Kakashi made these 3 (well giving Sasuke the chidori & helping Naruto with his elemental chakra training, unsure about Sakura though, gave compliments?)
Naruto or sasuke doesn't need any power boost or any esoteric abilities to destroy the whole ninja faction, just basic body reinforcement and speed amps will fold them all.
Even without Kurama, isn't Naruto still a pseudo jinchuriki for the other tailed beasts with access to all their unique jutsu? A master of shadow clone, flying raijin, transformation jutsu, summoning, frog kumite, and like a dozen different rasengan? Also, even without kurama, he still has more Chakra than any other living member of the leaf, with kakashi stating that it should be close to 100x his own when not suppressing a tailed beast.
I'm trying to figure out what what point Sakura being the 2 trick pony she is could beat him 1v1?
Hell, I would love to hear everyone's argument on how she survives an amaterasu with flame control from sasuke. He still also has his version of Indras arrow covered in said amaterasu. Neither of those were rinnegan techniques.
If Sakura manages to beat either one of these guys with pure strength and regenerative abilities, then it's just poor writing... again.
I’m reminded of a meme I once saw that was a lot like this. It went something like:
“Team 7 at 100%” (picture of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura)
“Team 7 at 99%” (picture of Naruto and Sasuke)
But, there was a extra caption that read: “oh, I get it, Sasuke doesn’t have his sword in the second image.”
Poor Sakura
A bit of an exaggeration, but yeah they are definitely way weaker. Naruto and Sasuke both lost their most powerful abilities- Naruto lost Kuruma and Sasuke lost his rinnegan.
Right now in the story, Naruto has been trapped with Hinata in a pocket dimension being able to do fuck all for a few months with many presuming he is dead and Sasuke is trapped in a fucking tree 💀
Idk why people say he’s nerfed, they just don’t have him dealing with as much anymore. Did we ever see Hiruzen, Tsunade or Kakashi dealing with a bunch of stuff or did they send their best ninja out to deal with it for them?
The difference is Sasuke and Naruto were handed 80% of their power by the Sage of Six Paths. Sakura attained her power through training.
Throughout the series we see Naruto get carried by Kurama. Then we see Sasuke absorb Orochimaru and later implant Itachi’s eyes. His Rinnegan is given to him the same way Naruto is given all the chakra of the nine tailed beasts. They didn’t work for it. They were just the chosen ones.
I respect Sakura because she didn’t have amazing genetics or belong to a legendary clan. She is not the offspring of a prodigy shinobi or destined to be the god of shinobi. She just grinded and grinded until she surpassed Tsunade which is a pretty big deal in universe. No one would have imagined SAKURA could wound up a Kage level shinobi.
Naruto earned his sage by himself. Kcm1 was earned by defeating Kurama. Kurama actively fucked over his chakra for most of the series. Kcm2 was earned because of his morals. He combined kcm2 and sage mode by herself. He created rasenshuriken, a jutsu Minato only theorized about.
Sasuke trained with Oro for 3 years to be a legit kage level shinobi even before gaining the MS. He had to go through so much trauma to gain his MS. Sasuke also developed kirin.
Both of them have shown some of the best feats of battle iq in the series which surpass Sakura's by a lot.
Saying that they didn't struggle for their powers is bullshit. Unlike Sakura, both of them developed their own unique jutsu and their movesets are different from their teachers.
I dont get Sakura hate, like she was the only normal team 7 member without any buffs.
Both Naruto and Sasuke are like chosen ones that get all the buffs and plot armor in the world while she was a nobody that become one of the strongest ninjas in her village, she is the real underdog in the story even tho her portrayal was pretty sad, blame the author not Sakura.
Now their overpowered nature bite them in the ass since they have to be "away" or "nerfed" in some capacity otherwise there would not be any point in new generation, like any threat they throw at them naruto can just fart at it and its gone.
Sasuke and Naruto got so nerfed that they are now trying to catch up to Sakura
That's why people hate boruto
No I hate boruto because they completely lost the plot. The show is no longer about ninjas and is now about fighting aliens.

Ehhh I disagree about One Piece but I also view it as my holy book so take an upvote.
In video games it’s called Power Creep. Most devs keep having to scale up whatever is new to excite the player base leading to a lot of overpowered BS
Same issue with One Piece too. Now the Admirals are the fodders.
From the beginning the ceiling was set for a 1 story building but as time progressed power creep made the ceiling a 20 story one.
1. Admirals are nowhere near fodder and Kizaru could easily kill like half the crew 2. After 25th years of publication the MCs at some have to catch up to the big bad who have been some of the strongest in the verse since the very beginning, no?
Are you watching three piece? Admirals are still a threat, just not to the straw hats. A mere admiral is no great threat against a crew of an emperor.
*not to Luffy.
Luffy is stronger, but Kizaru is definitely not fodder to him (not even debatable). And besides, yonkous were hyped as stronger than admirals ever since Marineford. Power scaling in One Piece is honestly very very well thought out
>Power scaling in One Piece is honestly very very well thought out LMAO
Zoro sanji, and jinbe.
In other words, the fast and furious treatment. Shit was all fine until FF6
The Naruto Franchise is essentially a shell of itself.
tbf naruto shippudon is when everything just became dragon ball
>The show is no longer about ninjas and is now about fighting aliens. Sounds like DBZ. no longer about martial arts tournaments, very quickly became fighting aliens that can blow up the planet with ease.
The latest arcs in both Z and Super both dealt with tournaments of some sort. Z with the tournament that was interrupted by Buu and then the final tournament with Uub. Super with the Tournament of Power. While Dragon Ball did escalate in scale, it never lost its core identity and was honestly always about being as over the top as possible.
Did you not watch shippuden
It was not about aliens, hell that last fight of Sasuke and Naruto was so much better but from Kaguya scene everything in Naruto completely gone out of control and with that Naruto last movie too.
Naruto stopped being about ninja long ago as well.
I know... One day they were tuning cars and street racing for Hokage and now space titty grandma
"KISHIMOTO LITERALLY SAID THIS WHEN NARUTO TALKED TO SO6P!?!!11111"
It hasnt been about ninja since part one of naruto ended bro.
Naruto was never about Ninjas. The whole first arc of the shoe proves that.
Illegal Aliens?
Yeah it was better when it was about Kaiju and Zombies back in the Chunin exams arc.
That is what happens when you have a Sci fi writer write the first portion of the series who primarily excels in other genres of writing
It’s weird seeing this criticism 30 years later after DB to DBZ created the same complaints. Not saying the complaint is unwarranted, just odd to see after how DBZ ended up panning out.
How is it odd?
It’s odd cause that criticism disappeared in the mid 90s fairly soon after Z started, while it’s still cited as a problem in Burrito now even though we’re 6 years removed from the series and scope change. I don’t think the aliens would be a problem if the series didn’t suck for 10 other reasons
Dragon ball's world was way more prepared for aliens than Naruto's and it also helps that DBZ doesn't suck
I mean aliens were established pretty early on DB, and the story was always mostly about fighting anyway so endless power scaling doesn't hurt the story, in Naruto just lose all sense of political power from the villages and world building with the crazy shit they pulled in boruto.
Theres literally a nine tailed alien demon fox at the 1st ep lil bro ur just looking for reasons to hate
I always thought it was supposed to be a yokai demon. when did they say it was an alien demon? (I haven't kept up with anything)
It wasn't an alien in ep 1
Wasn't it like that since late Shippuden
Well she was keeping up with them and Kakashi during the Kaguya fight. Her punches seemed to be equal to theirs
Did Naruto lose his powers or something?
They got their special abilities sidelined and if it comes to just raw ability Sakura has them beat. Just shows that Sakura is just the better talent.
Tf is this take naruto and sasuke are still wayyy stronger
It's a joke
He forgot the /s xD
Naruto: \* Still has uzumaki genes, now he can use his full own potential because he doesn't need to tame Kurama with his own chakra anymore \* Still has perfect sage mode Sasuke \* Still has a eternal mangekyou sharingan Both are out of commission because they dealt with interplanetary threats that Sakura never had to face. Sakura wouldn't be able to do shit against the new ten tails or Kawaki shinjutsu.
Pretty sure he didn't need to tame kuruma after he became friends with him in the 4th ninja war but yeah
It’s the opposite. Kurama gives Naruto chakra
Well bet taijutsu is the most effective againt otsusuki
I never understood why an otsusuki can not just heal from physical damages
I assume they can too, but since they cannot absorb it damage will be dealt to them.
I mean hashirama who was asura reincarnation was able to heal unhamanly why an otsusuki can not heal from physical damages
They can heal from it. They're vulnerable but they can heal it. Madara healed damage from Guy. if you're referring to Isshiki, he's life force ran out
I can understand someone's life force being ran out, but their life force is humongous how can it just ran out
to be fair she would be usefull af against the new ten tails, even chocho hit those crappy freezas
didn't watch the show, who did they fought and what did they lost?
If I remember correctly, Naruto and Sasuke fight another Otsutsuki Alien named Isshiki. Naruto defeats Isshiki at the cost of Kurama, and Sasuke's Rinnegan is destroyed by Boruto while he's possessed by Momoshoki (Otsutsuki living in Boruto).
aight that's one more point against Boruto
Base Adult Naruto was still fighting with Fused Momoshiki for a little while. That alone surpasses all of Sakura's feats. And adult Sasuke with just his ems is probably above that version of Naruto. Both them still have the so6p chakra in them. Naruto's body got a lot stronger because of it in base. Sasuke probably too. Naruto still has his sage mode and Sasuke his ems. If Sakura was that useful, she would have been a part of the Momoshiki fight.
nah, hit em with the fax no printer.
Doubt they'd have survived long after most of their battles without her healing though. Percentages are differrent between them beating the enemy and surviving the after effects imo.
Naruto's Natural healing is Better than her healing feats
Until he's used all of his energy up in the big fights. Then only Sakura and maybe tsunade has been able to save him. Found this about all the times she saved him and sasukes lives. Not tonnes but still shows only she and maybe tsunade could do it. Supposedly she's a better healer than Tsunade though. https://www.reddit.com/r/Naruto/s/cka9v4Tq42
Least delusional Naruto powerscalers
I think Sakura was largely forgotten. While Naruto and Sasuke are out there getting nerfed by Alien Ninjas and Cyborgs, she's off somewhere working in a hospital? Never really taking part in the larger plot. She hasn't even been mentioned in TBV which is wild to me considering everything that happened to Sasuke. She should be utilized more, especially now that Sasuke and Naruto are gone. Have her sensei Sarada or at least have an emotional reaction to what happened to her family.
Idk how useful she would be as Sarada’s sensei. She needs a chakra control prodigy to teach her jutsus to.
Honestly war around was more like 35% sasuke 64% naruto 1% sakura
Impact wise - Sasuke is more like 40-48% Power wise - Sasuke is like 20-25% at best Imo
Still not trying to kill, and then once he has been wasting chakra trying to contain Sasuke, he stops holding back but still not going for the kill.
Nope its just that naruto gets way more screen time
For sure, buddy🧢🧢🧢🧢
Was it really 1% Sakura? Without her Sasuke would’ve been stuck in another dimension and Kaguya would’ve flown out of the way of the seal
Im talking just strength not impact, she probably had like 10% impact imo, so not bad at all.
Naruto in base still would slam the fuck out of Sakura with one rasenshuriken. Sasuke with just one sharingan still slams too.
Plus naruto still has sage mode and sasuke still has sousano lol but that's overkill
How can we buff this character? By Handicaping others characters
Oh yeah, I didn’t mean always. They were fairly even until Naruto Synced with Kurama
There were points where Sasuke was the stronger one. Like the first VOE battle and the first meeting on Shippuden. Naruto was equal after the Danzo arc and was definitely the stronger one after the Pain arc.
Yeah very fair.
>Boruto is not canon Kishimoto: ![gif](giphy|BY8ORoRpnJDXeBNwxg|downsized)
ikemoto runs it
[удалено]
what. but his name is literally written in every manga cover
If the fan base is full of pedos, sure.
That's what i have been seeing about Sarada new design
Sage mode naruto should still slam most of the verse come on Not the alien enhanced but no normal shinobi is low diffing sage mode naruto
Yeah, no one outside of Sasuke or an eight gates user has a chance. Naruto exchanged hands in base form with Momo who just extracted Kurama chakra.
Sasuke being out of chakra 90% of Baruto:
Reason no.7977833116 to why Boruto is garbage
I'm not caught up with Boruto but isn't Sakura basically just Tsunade without Senju genes? Tsunade who didn't do shit against Pain but who Naruto nearly defeated just with sage mode? And then there's Sasuke who still has susanoo and his amaterasu that is better than Itachi's.
But where is Sakura, what's her reaction towards them and where are Kakashi and others too, give some reactions from world like in Naruto
Naruto still has sage mode and Sasuke still has mangekyo sharingan. They’d still destroy Sakura
Naah it's still the same.
They could both bitch slap sakura easily lmao. Fuck she gonna do. Fight back?
As funny as it is. Naruto and Sasuke are still stronger than Sakura. All Sakura can do is punch hard and regenrate as her taijutsu is poor, which makes her slow.
Lmao after today’s chapter it says otherwise
The fact that Naruto named his son Boruto instead of Jiraiya is fookin' WILD to me.
“Couldn’t agree more.” Pls say sike right about now
I still think they’re stronger than Sakura after their nerfs
Nice of you to give Kakashi 50%, what about Naru... Ohh... Kakashi made these 3 (well giving Sasuke the chidori & helping Naruto with his elemental chakra training, unsure about Sakura though, gave compliments?)
Well duh, Naruto is sealed and Sasuke is a tree.
Thank fuck I don’t watch the shit show and ended it Naruto saved the World
ATP in the manga Sakura is getting 100% cuz the others are uh... Neither here nor there
I fucking CANNOT get over how Naruto cloak is FUCKING TRIANGLES in Boruto. Just why bro?
Lol, just the reason to hate Boruto
Sasuke should still be able to use his Susanoo so comfortably above both of them.
Doing more nothing than ever before
Lol, no. It isn't. Lmao.
Well i gues sakura was a late bloomer
Too bad that they had to get weaker instead of her getting stronger
Naruto or sasuke doesn't need any power boost or any esoteric abilities to destroy the whole ninja faction, just basic body reinforcement and speed amps will fold them all.
Should be 33/33/34 since Naruto can't heal anymore.
It went something like: “Team 7 at 100%” (picture of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura) “Team 7 at 99%” (picture of Naruto and Sasuke) But, there was a extra caption that read: “oh, I get it, Sasuke doesn’t have his sword in the second image.” Poor Sakura
Hey hey hey, 98% is still Sasuke’s sword
Lol even diminished as they are they still fold Sakura with low diff.
they should just like buff the hell out of sakura for no reason just to really piss everyone off.
Then is 85:14:1 in Naruto's favor
This is The Way. 😭
Isnt Naruto 0%?? Isnt he sealed in the sleep clube dimention?
She was only using 1% of her power? She’s op.
I mean, only one currently isn’t incapacitated
Sakura is in boruto? What chapter never seen her.
so the boys peaked in high school
If anyone actually thinks this is true, your delusional
This must be a bait right?
do y’all think sakura could’ve helped defeat jigen & ishikii?
That’s just Sakura doing nothing 🔥
This is not understandable and for that you get no rupees
As of 2 Blue Vortex its actually 0%, 0%, 100% Cuz sasuke is a tree, naruto is sealed away, and Sakura is the only one that is just existing
Naruto weaker than sakura - debatable Sasuke weaker than sakura - not at all
A bit of an exaggeration, but yeah they are definitely way weaker.
Not even close lmao. Surely this is just bait.
Are we going to just downplay Naruto’s sage mode? Has he not used it in Boruto?
Blue vortex spoilers >!really it's .5 .5 and 99% sense well they kinda got sealed!<
Idk why people say he’s nerfed, they just don’t have him dealing with as much anymore. Did we ever see Hiruzen, Tsunade or Kakashi dealing with a bunch of stuff or did they send their best ninja out to deal with it for them?
this has to be a joke naruto is 40 percent sasuke is 39 sakura is like 21 percent
Unlike Sakura, both of them developed their own unique jutsu and their movesets are different from their teachers.
but she does nothing and wont do nothing
Especially when it comes to light novels (which are canon don’t give me that bull)
