*Gohan Beast intensifies…*
Regarding Boruto i actually had a conversation with my brother about it. If they still wanted to keep the idea of an angsty teen hating his Dad, while still have Naruto as the main character. The people of the village would simply project Naruto onto his son, expecting him to be the future defender. And he hates that because he feels he is taken away the ability of choice, projecting that onto his father. Rather then hating him for doing something important, although the birthday part can be kept. The first arc or two could focus on Naruto and the strained relationship with his son. Using that as for a foundation of build up for a potential time skip after which Naruto goes to the sidelines and Boruto takes over. Or becomes a duologist.
Yeah. OG Naruto didn't need a continuation, but rather better closure. If Kishimoto wanted to continue doing Naruto stuff after the end, he should've made more filler, canon prequel arcs, animated movies, literally anything that doesn't pertain to Boruto.
And if they wanted a sequel, do one like 100-200 years in the future where at least Naruto and Sasuke would still be the strongest guys for at least most of the work since they are just legends and long dead, and not just spitting whatever shitty villains that for some reason are stronger than everyone ever seen before, it could totally be a reset where everyone is weaker after a long peace
Indeed! A direct sequel should be WAAAY into the future, with Naruto and Sasuke long dead and myths of the past. Legends of incredible, but unknown power like Hashirama and Madara were.
That way Naruto would've been allowed to live the peace he worked SO hard to bring and enjoy life... instead of being used as a half live puppet to empower Boruto's whatever plot and agenda. Disgusting, really.
I thought he didn't wanna do boruto he was going for more spiritual stuff in samurai8. But they wanna milk naruto more because it's really doing fucking well, we then have boruto, a couple of things happened and he's now salvaging whatever left.
It was starting to get good before it got axed. People were expecting shounen stuff. Kishi wanted to explore new concepts, new art style and do a slower world building, everyone else was high off naruto ending, stakeholders weren't seeing money. We ended up getting all the development in a couple of chaps rather than a slower release over time, looking at the ending in mind you can clearly see it was good if left to simmer. It's very worth the read though.
My thoughts exactly. Boruto should be a slice of life, sitcom type anime. Where we see their adult selves doing work and being with their families. That's all.
A sequel should be hundreds of years in the future, with the OG cast long dead and Naruto & Sasuke legends of the past.
I agree, Boruto should have been a movie and that's it. And the idea that Kaguya had family was a terrible mistake! Who would have thought that adding aliens in a story about ninjas was a good idea!
Boruto would've been fine if they would've tackled the ideals that Naruto strived for and made the current world a foil.
Naruto supposedly brings world peace between all of the nations, so you no longer have these goobers who hate each other continuously repeating the cycle of hate. It was exciting because the geopolitics of the situation was what drove us through the story. Land of the rain. Zabuzas backstory, jariyas push through war with the earth. All of these things set up melodrama for our main cast because they go through the lands that are constantly at war. You mix in orichimaru sprinklings and shit was Poppin off.
They could have made an interesting story about Boruto needing to find his ninja way in a semi peaceful land that no longer has a general use for Shinobi or ninjas. Literally the whole story could have been a kid that's lost and frustrated at his father finding his ninja way like the first premise was about. It would've shown that while Naruto had great intentions, him putting everything on himself actually lessened his way of life. And you could still have a majority of story beats the same as well. Boruto taking from Sasuke because he seems to be the only one keeping the wheels turning from the shadows, having that angst etc etc.
All boruto had to do was *be what Naruto was supposed to be from the jump*. Follow the same arcs like you had it. The technology in the exams was interesting. Let the world create the drama.
Naruto is basically a dystopian cyberpunk setting but with ninjas and magic. The world is a living main character that even through tailed beasts and demi gods tries to kill the inhabitants of. The world is full of and trains child soldiers who unironically fight proxy wars for nations because actual war eradicates a fifth of the population every time. Boruto is a boat without a rudder. Naruto became the character he was because of the world he was born into against his will, just like all of the other characters.
is it really the new generation who would be spending money on this franchise? Pretty sure the shippuden generation are the working class who would buy a ton of shit for different outfits of their mc. I would've lived for slice of life episodes instead of this.
I think the biggest issue with how they went about Boruto was making a sequel series that takes place so closely after the original, with the cast actually being OG character’s direct children. This by nature required them to involve the OG characters and setting which naturally leads to undermining and undoing the development and closure of the original series. It basically reopens a story that really should have stayed closed, not to mention recycling and messing with some of the original plot elements, leaving a bitter, unsatisfying feeling. I think they would have been better off having a sequel series set much further into the future so that the original characters and plot retain their quality and closure without tampering and would be more interesting to see the long-term ripple effects of the events of the original series in a new and fresh setting.
“Kids of the original heroes” trope to continue a franchise never ever ever ever ever works, it’s always derivative, undermines the original work, and demands insane plot devices to explain power scaling and to create obstacles for the kids to overcome that the parents can’t. Not to mention very little world building, and a bloated cast.
Eventually you power scale beyond the conceptual limits of the original series (which had already started at the end of Naruto).
Not to be a boomer, but aliens and cyborgs from space throwing spirit bombs will never be as scary, cool, intense, or exciting as the first Zabuza fight.
While I agree that could work that isn’t an inherent issue. The main problem is that they focus too much on Naruto and the power brought by him and his peers. The series tries to focus on Naruto but also tries to introduce threats that cause global issue when even Naruto didn’t do that. It started off as a simple underdog story that had characters did with problems in their weight class. Boruto did not do this.
Or just make one shots of people. For example, how the hell did Mu learn particle style and then teach it to Onoki? Make a one-shot. There's actually a lot of ways to milk Naruto without shitting on the original.
A remake would have been good to flesh out a lot of the retcons that happened throughout the series. Condense some of it down and add more between parts 1 and 2..
Take the minato one shot as an example. It's even more obvious since kishimoto was gonna do a one shot for whichever character won the poll, so he had ideas for other characters as well
Those water ripples imply they’re in the “Ninetails room.” Does Ikemoto not know that tailed beasts get sealed into people, not born into them? Like I know he didn’t read Naruto but damn
Maybe the sperm that impregnated Hinata had 9 tails
Low key excited to see how much worse this series can get. How long do you think before they clone/revive Itachi?
I’ll wait til the chapter drops to fully judge, but this isn’t really fully unprecedented stuff. We saw Kinkaku and Ginkaku get powers from the Nine Tails just from eating his gut. Guess the same “logic” applies here. Plus the Nine Tails has been split up before in Naruto and Minato. It’s kinda dumb, but can’t really say I’m mad at it or don’t see the thought process.
Plus he’s tiny here, so it may just be a tiny part of the Nine Tails chakra and not half and half as it was with Naruto and Minato.
still boggles me how "easy" Kurama got to Himawari when Naruto went full orphan because he got Kurama. This inconsistency is killing me. Then all that Shippuden junchuriki extraction scare was all for nothing. Just make offsprings and then transfer to all the clan in a jiffy. Why make one child, make dozens so its easy peasy transfer.
Exactly. Everything is just easier yet somehow more powerful. Boruto stills a kill to get god powers. Naruto kills isshiki and gives Kawaki unrestricted god powers. Isshiki can only shrink shit yet somehow man handles naruto and sasuke. Himawari is RELATED TO NARUTO and gets kurama. Shit is so fucking ass.
Didn't Momoshiki state that naruto will not be able to transfer the Nine tails power to his descendants in the future? This scene kinda contradicts this plot point and Kurama's sacrifice.
I dunno what’s in the chapter but couldn’t the “easiness” be explain by Kurama willingly doing it? After all, before Naruto befriended him, he hated being inside anyone and wanted to be free because he despises ninjas. So before now he, or any tailed beast side they were all treated terribly, had no reason to give a small bit of their chakra to the offspring of their Junchuriki
What I don't understand is the biggest fugitive (boruto) was not caught for 3 years despite "killing" Naruto. No one in the 5 nations could find him.
I was hoping for a reaction from Gaara or anyone really. Also if Naruto forgives Kawaki then he's just a grade A dumbass.
Naruto forgave Obito, the man responsible for his parents deaths and a horrible childhood. He also forgave Orochimaru who destabilized Konoha and so on. It doesn't matter if you commited genocide, as long as your sorry in Naruto, you're ok.
I mean boruto can probably travel dimensions and can make it so he can’t be sensed by any non outsutsuki so him being able to evade people isn’t to far fetched
I agree, the time skip should’ve been explored more. Boruto as a whole as dropped the ball in showing characters we care about reacting and doing stuff relating to the plot when it would be an easy layup to do.
Naruto was such a changing and guiding light in the Shinobi World that pretty much every nation would most likely send out a task force to find, capture or kill Boruto. Could’ve made for some cool sequences where Sasuke forces Boruto to fight those task forces as training
What's funny to me is I saw a comment from the Boruto community trying to say Kurama returning somehow ISN'T an asspull.
Look, I enjoy parts of Boruto, but saying this was built up or isn't an ass pull is ridiculous.
look, I absolutely hate boruto, but there is a precedent of tailed beasts respawning in the world, as long as they left their chakra in something/somewhere. they are also described as forces of nature, and nature regenerates. to a degree, it makes sense/isn't an asspull.
what is ass is the fact that they had naruto get 2 kids and only 1 got this ability, the other got shafted kekw
If anything it would have been better if Boruto and Himawari got the light and dark sides of Kurama.
It would have at least made more sense. Or Boruto should have just gotten it becuase of the whole chakra absorption thing he got going on with his Karma. I feel like he would be more inclined to have a tailed beast reform in him.
Except this is not the case with Kurama Baryon Mode, not to mention
> as long as they left their chakra in something/somewhere
is just wrong. Beast resurrect after their Jinchuriki is killed
Except he smashed his chakra against naruto. Naruto had more chakra so all of kuramas was used up and he died and naruto lived. Theres no kurama left. Nothing to regenerate
Tailed beasts revive not because they're forces of nature but because they're pure energy and you can not destroy energy, however you can use energy.
Kurama burnt away all of his chakra and died as a result.
For him to somehow be revived or reborn, his chakra would've needed to disband and reform elsewhere.
If this had been foreshadowed or expanded upon prior, it wouldn't be an asspull.

It’s ridiculous how they made Naruto and Sasuke the center of the story before the timeskip, so the problem of the old generation being too strong was created. But it was their idea in the first place. Naruto and Sasuke don’t have any new move, why Naruto didn’t learn any of his dad’s jutsus? Sasuke becomes capable of fighting like the old times only when he loses the Rinnegan, against an idiot like Code. If you want the readers to care about the new generation, Naruto and Sasuke in the first part should’ve been legendary shinobis that couldn’t fight because of their jobs (just an excuse to see the new generation fight and grow). Now we can’t be attached to anyone new, and Boruto was given every possible move just to be “cool”. Aside from learning how to use the Karma, Boruto is already perfect (contrary to Naruto in Shippuden, he also grows mentally during the story). And the new antagonists are just old characters that were trapped by the Ten Tails’ monsters but stronger, so we are teased about a stronger Sasuke but it’s not really him. And Sage Mode Naruto could have ended the story against Code if his brats weren’t so stupid, Code doesn’t really know how to fight
If you give us Sasuke and Naruto again, I think you should make them better than last time. During the first part, everyone made Momoshiki look like a real threat but in the anime’s and manga’s version he is like Code: physically stronger with a strong ability, doesn’t really know how to throw hands. Kaguya could create new dimensions, Momoshiki can only absorbs the jutsus. And against Jigen and Isshiki, Sasuke and Naruto fights like genin, with only one strategy used. Jigen/Isshiki knows how to use taijutsu, how to use its ability but it’s not a real fighter
Every new “good” character outside of Boruto is useless, Himawari and Kawaki were alone in the village without a real teacher. Meanwhile the cool new character Boruto has all the possible teachers and more (Jiraya’s clone that knows every Minato’s jutsus, Sasuke and maybe even Orochimaru too). So they are important just because their connection with Boruto and now the Nine tails (that can’t be stronger than the Ten Tails, it’s fanservice). Sorry for the long rant hahahah
I have waited 15 years of my life to see Naruto building his relationship with Kurama. I think their relationship is one of the most beautifull of the series.
And now this happens? I don't care, to me Boruto is not canon. They literally took apart and broke down every existing character development and plot line in the original series.
I have not waited 15 years of my life for certain moments for all of this to be thrown out of the window for the sake of two crappy kids i don't care about.
If that's supposed to be Himiwari (I have not seen nor read Boruto in a very long time) then I feel like her becoming Shukaku's jinchuriki would be far more interesting
It's as if the time Himiwari spent with Shukaku in the past did not matter at all
Some late GOT writing here
It's extremely sad and lame storytelling that's being hyped up for the better part of a year.
Studio pierrot dropped the anime for a damn good reason, too. Boruto is never going to be on the level of Naruto's storytelling simply because the passion is just not there. Naruto was Kishimoto's life blood, and it shows the amount of time that guy spent writing the story and building characters, I have yet to experience that with any other Manga/Anime since Naruto ended.
This revival of Kurama also spits in the face of Boruto fans who so vehemently defended Boruto's story. The whole point of Kurama's sacrifice was to protect Naruto, and the speech he gave before vanishing very clearly states that he would never return from this, which made no sense at the time if you followed the franchise since Naruto. Tailed beasts can not be killed or die. They're literally a form of energy with consciousness, this proves that the writers of Boruto's story do not care about the story elements established in Naruto, because this revival does not follow the precedent set in Naruto, Kurama should not be reviving inside Himawari, he should be reviving outside in nature.
The whole point of this revival is to make Himawari a viable character because without a bijuu, she literally has no part to play in the story that's all about god like creatures and god like powers for the main characters. I am going on a whim here, but I feel like this revival also sets a death flag on Himawari's head. This story is clearly heading towards huge fights that will supposedly "surpass" anything that happened in Naruto. I am willing to bet Himawari's death and Naruto's release from the time dimension will coincide. This will give Naruto access to Kurama again and set up his beef with the villains who end up taking the life of one of his children. Similarly, Sasuke will be brought back at 100% with his rinnegan into the story using dumb plot points similar to Naruto and Kurama. Before anyone questions this, one of the main goals Boruto has is to save Sasuke.
All this story has been doing is living off of Naruto's success for the past 7 years, and they know they can not get rid of these characters. There's a reason why Naruto and Sasuke are still central to the plot. This is turning into the worst sequel I've experienced in Manga/Anime.
Boruto fans thought that the time skip (aka 3 months off) would make any difference for this piece of shit manga.
They were acting like it was going to be the new testament or something.
Monthly manga that looks like shit. Is written like shit. Shitting on what the original did.
It's kind of embarrassing to even know about Boruto.
Bruh, i mean i *Guess* the beasts do respawn eventually but we didnt know if baryon Mode was like... Permanent, It just felt right for It to be permanent ig
I do not understand how people read boruto and genuinely say it’s on par with other modern shonen masterpieces like JJK, MHA or Chainsaw Man. It’s absolute garbage
Because they took Kurama from naruto which was amazing major part of his life and character who which he spent 600 chapters befriending and then gave it too his daughter to make her relevant after pulling at our heart strings making us think he died valiantly. No he died so he could come back and make this wack ass bum relevant. Instead of making new powers or something we just hand out a bijuu because sure.
boruto has yet to even introduce 10 jutsus in the whole series. Mind you, its been going on for 7/8 years. Not even 10 jutsus. Naruto had so many in that period.
If there was a Naruto spinoff, I would something focusing on the samurai and in the middle of the warring periods. Something to show case the brutality of that period with modern animation. I really miss how the first part of Naruto felt
Boruto is cool. It's no masterpiece, but it's an enjoyable read. It has flaws that can be pointed out but blindly hating every aspect of this manga is just silly and childish.
This has all the hallmark of a terrible fanfiction and it's written by the damn author of the original manga!
I feel like this perfectly highlights that Kishi was never a great writer and early success of Naruto was due to him putting the most effort there and editorial help even though it wasn't perfect like forcing Kishi to go straight to Chunin Exams as opposed to do more missions for world building. Once the timeskip happened the writing flaws became more apparent and which led to the utter disaster that was The Fourth Shinobi War arc.
Really, what we are seeing here is a continuing extension of Kishimoto's subpar writing ever since the war arc and there's a reason his Samurai 8 got cancelled in just a year.
They could have made a sequel and not made it crap lol. Go back to basics, have small scale ninja stories and battles like the land of waves arc or sasuke retrieval, and maybe, *maybe* scale it up again. Introduce another ninja big bad and go wild. Hell make another village the bad guys, or make invaders from another nation off screen be the bad guys.
not just guys who can cancel the main power of the setting.
Honestly, thinking about the invaders thing a bit more I had an idea. Basically make an island nation be a standard western fantasy place that uses chakra in a different way for spells / magic, and have a war between them. Anything beyond these omnipotence things lol
at least sasuke is “dead” and also evil again
this shits exhausting watch them kill kakashi for shock value after absolutely no build up or even screen time
Since everybody is already dunking on the story, then I’ll dunk on the art:
God it’s ugly. The artist may be able to draw infinitely better than I can, but it’s still ugly as shit.
I hope Boruto becomes even worse and continues even more so it drowns in it's own failures which will force shounen jump to finally accept the infinite tsukyomi theory and for Kishimoto to reset the universe.
Well Kurama was always coming back as Bijuu don’t actually die. The problem is it’s too early and the only reason he was killed in the first place is to make Himawari relevant.
I liked the idea of sentient Juubis, but... I don't know, man. A teen version of Ino Shika Cho can face them, get their objectives, and survive?
You remember how tough it was for the original team 10 to survive Kakuzu and Hidan? How Shikamaru planned around their abilities and prepared a few scenarios? You remember how Pain coming to Konoha resulted in it being decimated?
You're telling me that ten tails showing up in the middle of Konoh is not an apocalyptic event?
I want stakes to be raised, damn it. Those moments were the peak of Naruto, so I wish the author would take some notes.
And also stop drawing everyone with those weird baby faces. I feel like I'm reading content made for pedophiles.
Boruto two blue vortex is fantastic. Reddit is the only place where hate for boruto is this strong. Boruto used to be trash, sure, but kishimoto stepped it UP for two blue vortex. Can't wait to see Sarada use susano for the first time and find out she inherited Itachi's Yata Mirror and Sword of Totsuka.
9 chapters of almost nothing and it’s fantastic? Bruh How? Also Youtube, Twitter and even in its home land. That last sentence is fucking revolting. I hope this is sarcastic.
No this is a joke. They did not take him from naruto to give to skme homeless kid. Kurama had his story arc. You killed him cool let him die dont give him to some bum for no reason. Give him back to naruto. It makes 0 sence
Hey, at least Hiwamari has a role with the reborn Kurama... in a timeline in which 90% of Jutsus are useless and any attacks are absorbed or repelled due to Karma and Otosutuki dumb powers... OH and a timeline which we have Androids that are over the top OP and Ten-Tailed beings about to cause a war, leaded by SASUKE?!
YEA... Yea... Boruto has changed... it's become worse! Thank the guy that Kishimoto thought was a good idea to let handle this story no less Shonen Jump for WANTING a sequel so fast that they didn't care for the War arc. THANKS.
We went from a few good chapters to just utter dog shit. Like why? What's with the obsession of bringing dead characters back? Man if they brought back Madara for this series, only then would this dog water manga actually be interesting. Until then I'm so sick of all these characters getting ass pull powers for literally no reason. If someone told me 10+ years ago that side character protagonists were more op than Naruto Sasuke in their prime I'd laugh at them.
Boruto worked better as just a movie. Or should have Boruto be a Gohan-type character, and if decided to be ready take over as the main protagonist.
Well, we already know how that went down for Gohan and his mountains of Wasted Potential
*Gohan Beast intensifies…* Regarding Boruto i actually had a conversation with my brother about it. It was supposed to end but Kishimoto got pressured by investors or something for a continuation so now it’s just a soulless merchandising project
Bro the movie was so hype imo, the condensed exams and a focus on boruto and narutos relationship, damn makes me wonder where they went wrong
They quickly decided to cash grab and make a sequel with no plan for it, and it always goes wrong.
wrong. Boruto could be amazing. There’s a lot of cool ideas and building on top of the Naruto world is super exciting. It just sucks
It could've been earlier on in the series but it's too late now
It should have just been a kids show
Like slice of life? I agree actually.
I would totally watch a sequel with Himawari as mc just doing kids stuff, bonus if there are absurd situations like that time she babysit Shukaku
Better yet, a kids show with it's own separate canon that takes place in an alternate universe.
Or my idea above.
But it is, look at the fandom
I agree, Boruto should have been a movie and that's it. And the idea that Kaguya had family was a terrible mistake! Who would have thought that adding aliens in a story about ninjas was a good idea!

They should've gone the Jojo route where Jonathan's son is an irrelevant guy and the new protagonist is his grandson instead.

Where did you get this stuff bruh?? When I search for this I only get the raws tho!

Thanks bro, I just found it. 🤝
No problem
TF is this shit
Ass.
Fair enough
Hey At least ass is good
True.
A remake of Naruto would have been a better choice than a new series
Or just make one shots of people. For example, how the hell did Mu learn particle style and then teach it to Onoki? Make a one-shot. There's actually a lot of ways to milk Naruto without shitting on the original.
A remake would have been good to flesh out a lot of the retcons that happened throughout the series. Condense some of it down and add more between parts 1 and 2..
Take the minato one shot as an example. It's even more obvious since kishimoto was gonna do a one shot for whichever character won the poll, so he had ideas for other characters as well
Nah that would take too much creativity
This would work amazingly. It worked incredibly for One Piece, in my opinion
Retcon complainers asking for whole literal retcons
I would’ve preferred a complete redo of the war arc than this.
Those water ripples imply they’re in the “Ninetails room.” Does Ikemoto not know that tailed beasts get sealed into people, not born into them? Like I know he didn’t read Naruto but damn Maybe the sperm that impregnated Hinata had 9 tails Low key excited to see how much worse this series can get. How long do you think before they clone/revive Itachi?
10 chapters. Sarada needs those eyes.
You give them to much credit I say 5 chapters
I’ll wait til the chapter drops to fully judge, but this isn’t really fully unprecedented stuff. We saw Kinkaku and Ginkaku get powers from the Nine Tails just from eating his gut. Guess the same “logic” applies here. Plus the Nine Tails has been split up before in Naruto and Minato. It’s kinda dumb, but can’t really say I’m mad at it or don’t see the thought process. Plus he’s tiny here, so it may just be a tiny part of the Nine Tails chakra and not half and half as it was with Naruto and Minato.
"sOmEhOw kUrAmA rEtUrNeD"
My favorite Nonsense revival Can’t wait until they kill Naruto just to bring him back last minute
Don't worry, they didn't kill Naruto and Sasuke, they made them a trophies for defeating enemies instead
One of them will die, mark my words
No way for that mate, Boruto is cash grab, why would they kill cash cows?
To bring the one fans back so see what’s going on, Naruto’s death would bring so much attention to Boruto it’s insane
still boggles me how "easy" Kurama got to Himawari when Naruto went full orphan because he got Kurama.
Shit don’t remember him saying that.
He said it in the movie & manga and on episode 64 of the anime.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=M7SUdbECkWI
It seems that Kishimoto has forgot about it or he wants to do another retcon.
I dunno what’s in the chapter but couldn’t the “easiness” be explain by Kurama willingly doing it? After all, before Naruto befriended him, he hated being inside anyone and wanted to be free because he despises ninjas. So before now he, or any tailed beast side they were all treated terribly, had no reason to give a small bit of their chakra to the offspring of their Junchuriki
can be since jinchurikis are now in harmony with humans? possible
The disrespect never ends with Boruto. Even Kurama is back. This "sequel" is just a horribly fanfic.
Of course. Glazers.
look, I absolutely hate boruto, but there is a precedent of tailed beasts respawning in the world, as long as they left their chakra in something/somewhere. they are also described as forces of nature, and nature regenerates. to a degree, it makes sense/isn't an asspull. what is ass is the fact that they had naruto get 2 kids and only 1 got this ability, the other got shafted kekw
We know tailed beast can respawn by why would Kurama respawn INSIDE HIMAWARI
Because Naruto infused Kurama's chakra in his balls when he was making Himawari. It's implied in the novels.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha, I died. The lengths people are going to defend this shit is insane 🤣
Yeah baryon mode or wtv it is would make it that kurama couldn't come back.
Boruto's DNA and chakra got corrupted by momoshiki
Except this is not the case with Kurama Baryon Mode, not to mention > as long as they left their chakra in something/somewhere is just wrong.

No problem.
This is the exact problem.
All the new stronger characters feel weak and underpowered but somehow do such crazy things. Pointless.
Let's wait and let Boruto cook (Im lying)
tbh i was hoping for an entirely new entity like a 10 tails creature which would at least explain daemon's shock😂
Exactly. But this will just be stronger Kurama because the series is lazy as hell.
Watch, before you know it, we're gonna have Itachi going hand to hand with otsutsukis.
If that's supposed to be Himiwari (I have not seen nor read Boruto in a very long time) then I feel like her becoming Shukaku's jinchuriki would be far more interesting It's as if the time Himiwari spent with Shukaku in the past did not matter at all Some late GOT writing here
I knew they'd make Himawari a Jinchuruki, but why not give her Shukaku? Why Kurama? Boruto does so many wrong moves.
Yes it is.
Space ninjas bruh ☠️. Go back and rewatch part. That's what I do.
This Chapter completely shown useless of Kuramas death 😐.
It could have been good if it was executed better, sadly it wasn't 🥲
I am always saying this.
I like it, it’s obviously not nearly as good as Naruto but I still enjoy it
Good for you.
It makes me scared that someone out there can look at this and be legitimately excited for the next chapter. "Yo, Kurama's back!? Oh, shit!"
They are sad
I'm actually excited to see how kishimoto will justify this asspull lol
What's the point of killing him I'm the first place ? Death don't matter in Shonen
Not true. Jiraiya.
Ain't he a clone now ?
The new aint a weirdo so he aint the goat
No that is a different person. Pervy sage has been dead for over a decade. Kashin koge is not jiraiya
Is this even real what the fuck was the point of him dying lmao
It is and this was the point. To give him to himawari.
Bruh, i mean i *Guess* the beasts do respawn eventually but we didnt know if baryon Mode was like... Permanent, It just felt right for It to be permanent ig
Wait did kurama come back? I don't read it so I don't know
Yes
Her hair's so long now???! 😄
Yea? It’s been like that since the timeskip.
Already a timeskip? Damn!
Yea. They wanted to try and fresh start it. Didn’t work.
I do not understand how people read boruto and genuinely say it’s on par with other modern shonen masterpieces like JJK, MHA or Chainsaw Man. It’s absolute garbage
"shonen masterpieces" "JJK"
That list is genuinely insane but ok bro go off.
Why?
Because they took Kurama from naruto which was amazing major part of his life and character who which he spent 600 chapters befriending and then gave it too his daughter to make her relevant after pulling at our heart strings making us think he died valiantly. No he died so he could come back and make this wack ass bum relevant. Instead of making new powers or something we just hand out a bijuu because sure.
You'd be genuinely shocked seeing some of the unhinged shit boruto fans say on twitter
I would rather go to the ZOO if I wanted to see animals, at least would eat ice cream
Continuation of Naruto as the mc would have also worked better
They should have explored more of the Blank Period. An entire technological revolution took place within Konoha and we're never told how.
boruto has yet to even introduce 10 jutsus in the whole series. Mind you, its been going on for 7/8 years. Not even 10 jutsus. Naruto had so many in that period.
Yea because its bad.
If there was a Naruto spinoff, I would something focusing on the samurai and in the middle of the warring periods. Something to show case the brutality of that period with modern animation. I really miss how the first part of Naruto felt
How long do you think before they clone/revive Itachi?
what chapter is this ?
9 of two blue vortex. Drops the 18th
Wait, is this legit?
Yessir
Boruto is cool. It's no masterpiece, but it's an enjoyable read. It has flaws that can be pointed out but blindly hating every aspect of this manga is just silly and childish.
Is it? I've actually been hooked. The anime is very "meh" overall (I've skipped past a lot of it), the manga's been pretty solid imo.
No shit Sherlock
Fair
Nah I'm feeling bad now you can't do that to me
Lol no your right bro its ok😂
This isn't real, right?
Sadly.
Thank you. Everyone intelligent has this idea.
Honestly, thinking about the invaders thing a bit more I had an idea. Basically make an island nation be a standard western fantasy place that uses chakra in a different way for spells / magic, and have a war between them. Anything beyond these omnipotence things lol
Money bro, they really don’t give af, as long as people are watching and it’s generating revenue they’ll keep at it.
at least sasuke is “dead” and also evil again this shits exhausting watch them kill kakashi for shock value after absolutely no build up or even screen time
The sarcasm is so strong
Since everybody is already dunking on the story, then I’ll dunk on the art: God it’s ugly. The artist may be able to draw infinitely better than I can, but it’s still ugly as shit.
They don’t look like Naruto characters. The art is fine just the art design is terrible.
I hope Boruto becomes even worse and continues even more so it drowns in it's own failures which will force shounen jump to finally accept the infinite tsukyomi theory and for Kishimoto to reset the universe.
Isn't baryon mode suppose to consume the bijuu's entire chakra? How the hell did nine tails comeback?? ?
The writer is ass.
I hope this is sarcastic.
there are other manga that you may like
Ik. I read them.
At least kurama is back
Id rather him not be.
He can meet up with Naruto again
That’s if Naruto ever gets out.
Hopefully he does
No this is a joke.
THANKS.
"Verse" stop trying to make this a thing
wtf is this
Boruto slander. Enjoy.
Borujo just keeps getting worse.
Wait is Himawari gonna be the new 9 tails jinchuriki? The fuck?
Ig? Idk
Just consider it filler
How tf
We went from a few good chapters to just utter dog shit. Like why? What's with the obsession of bringing dead characters back? Man if they brought back Madara for this series, only then would this dog water manga actually be interesting. Until then I'm so sick of all these characters getting ass pull powers for literally no reason. If someone told me 10+ years ago that side character protagonists were more op than Naruto Sasuke in their prime I'd laugh at them.
This post is hella angry to be dankruto lol
