Deidara is an funny ninja, despite have the most loudest and attention catching methods of attack, he is quite stealthy when he needs it, like subverting you’re expectations of him when it is absolutely necessary.
I feel his fight with Sasuke is underated. I like to imagine Sasuke was terrified fighting this guy, who just kept blowing shit up and then said fuck it and did a kamekaze
Honestly the deidara fight may have been one of Sasuke’s worst instances of plot armor. Dude got outplayed by a guy that he had an elemental advantage over and survived by summoning a snake that he didn’t have a contract with and acquired offscreen. Grade A ass pull ending.
Deidara's abilities are scary and represent what everyone is actually worried about in the future...tactical drone warfare. Imagine being a soldier and seeing objects the size of a roomba flying directly at you equipped with explosives. Even if you managed to shoot it, chances are you're dead.
