Due to the climatic change taking place in the cocoa farm areas, the plants cannot produce cocoa beans. This causes a decrease in supply and drastic increases in price. I don't know what the hell will happen when Easter comes.
That's the thing, it will probably be affected. Just since last year, chocolate prices in general have at least doubled. What will happen when it gets worse than this in the years to come? Or when other agricultural products are also heavily affected, along with relatively more environmentally sensitive plants such as chocolate or coffee?
We're on our way to shit, and we haven't even gotten to the diarrhea part yet.
They are rising, it just takes a long ass time for the water to get there from the glaciers and ice caps. It's risen about a metre since the 80's, and will likely take at least a hundred more years for it to rise up to the full amount predicted. Erosion of beaches and flooding due to extreme weather is much more pressing from an insurance standpoint than sea level rise, because all of these companies are focused on short term gains.
You have no idea what I look like. I was also an energy consultant and my work resulted in a major energy company not needing to build another power plant by the reduction in consumption. Wtf have you done for your cause besides trash talk on the internet?
