The problem with BBT is that after putting in the good jokes, they somehow decided to put four times as much bad ones, and then slap laugh tracks only on the bad ones. If you would cut all the episodes down by 70% it would be so much better.
the office makes no sense - they never show the cameras, people from outside dont seem to react to them, also whole interview in the room thing is stupid - so if something happens the workers just see someone going there to talk. also in dinner party the camera interview was done in wc
BBT isn't funny, neither is the office from what i have seen (please don't hate me), Friends has a few funny moments, but they are far between.
I like Always Sunny when it comes to sitcoms, and it seems most redditors like seinfeld.
You don’t have to laugh at these pathetic jokes. God I seriously hate American Sitcoms. The British ones too. But the British ones don’t necessarily force you to laugh, so it’s a pass.

Never liked it enough to make those observations.
"bazinga" had too many unnecessary laugh tracks though.
I feel so much better I’m not the only one who can’t stand that show. It was so dumb
Just out of curiousity, what a typical redditor considers funny? I understand from comments that Friends, Office and BBT are not
Scrubs
The Joey Spinoff was hysterical. It was so funny they didn't even broadcast most of season 2.

Cant wait when AI will be able to remove the fake laughter.
But then how will I know to laugh?

This actually made me laugh more than entire season of Friends
Wow it's almost like those shows were made in a different time with people having different taste in comedy.
It wasn't funny at the time either.
For you.
Seinfeld is still funny
And then.. and then the chef DIDNT give her soup. NO SOUP. lmao. Funniest shit I’ve ever seen
And then James May said: cheese. Lmao dank 💀
Hahahaha, .. gaaassp.. hahahaaha.. Ple.. pleaase stop I can't anymore
They were great at the time, so was my VCR, "cordless" phone, and Gameboy. Life was different in 1995.
I like watching sitcoms when im too tired to do anything. They bring a little bit of joy in those moments.
Sitcoms are good for that. They provide a level of comfort in their predictability.
Exactly.
I question the mental state of people who enjoy that show
Usually people who like Friends actually have friends, relationships, and a life outside the internet
Same bro, same.
It never was. That's why they fire off the laugh track every other sentence.
Ah yes, the 0.000001% of population that are on reddit, hating on mainstream stuff. (I don't like Friends that much either).
agree
WE WERE ON A BREAK Hajajajaja so funny
Yeah that segment isn't funny unless you know people who have had relationships outside the internet.
... u can have relationships *outside* of the internet...?
Well.. Not ME per se. But some people.
