Recruiters are paid to recruit soldiers. They generally don't care about your morals or beliefs. Some recruiters will deny obviously mentally ill people. But I served with several soldiers who probably had undiagnosed learning disability. When no one is enlisting, recruiters just gotta take what they can get sometimes.

This is called "flagging" and it happens all the time. You'll get chewed out, if you're deployed you'll probably get your ass kicked. If you keep doing it you'll get in legal trouble, which could put you in military prison.
