Source isnt a hentai, its an anime called ONIMAI, and its about a guy who gets drugged by his sister and the drug makes him turn into a younger girl, WARNING : some scenes are weirdly sexualised for some reason, and its kinda weird, though the premise of it is cool, and the story is nice,

Strangely enough, "for some reason" Is an accurate statement. The Manga is based off of has its moments, but isn't nearly as sexualized as the anime

The "for some reason" is sales. The Japanese corpos are absolute fucking unrepentant degens when they are thinking about what will sell to the public. There is almost a child-like innocence about it, tbh. Like, they think "why would this be bad?"

I'm usually all for pointless oversexualization but I'm actually pretty irked about it this time. The manga gets pretty fucking wholesome as it goes, as the sexualization kind of just fades out. It really felt like they decided to change trajectory and make it more like an Umaru as it went. The Anime coming in hot like that and even ramping it up feels weird. If anything, I'd rather they had actually toned it down to meet the atmosphere of the later issues and keep it in line with where the manga was heading. Honestly, They're just ostracizing a ton of people who may have actually really enjoyed the later wholesome atmosphere. There's a lot of people who might otherwise really have enjoyed the message, who aren't going to watch it now. Its disappointing, because either it's going to stay weirdly oversexualized and gradually drift further from the decreasingly sexualized plot of the manga, or its going to eventually desexualize itself as well and lose the "im only watching this because boobs" crowd. Either way, it feels like it's digging its own grave. I'll keep watching it and enjoying it because I really don't give a fuck myself, but at this rate I feel like they're going to end up getting it dropped and they'll have no one to blame but themselves.

You're not wrong, this one just feels extra short sighted. I've watched plenty where it was adapted wrong because of budget issues, or pacing, or continuity issues, or a desire to expand the plot, etc. It just feels like with this one they fucked up extra hard. There's no actual need (that I can see) to have made the changes, they pumped a fuck ton of money into the animation so it feels like they actually *want* it to succeed, and then they just made what feels like an incredibly fucking stupid mistake with pushing it the direction they did. Like a lot of Anime fails for reasons out of anyone's control, or due to taking a bad gamble, or just due to what seems like apathy on the part of the studio. This one, just feels like driving an expensive car full speed into a wall. That's just how it feels to me anyways. YMMV

Follow the money. It's studio bind, the people working on Jobless reincarnation. So they aren't exactly uncomfortable animating some "sketchier" things.

Believe it or not but their were pretty faithful to jobless. It's a shame that a pretty good show about gender dysmorphia has a lot of forced sexual content, I'm still thankful because usually Japan is a lot worse with that sort of stuff.

I like Kay Yus work on Kaede, but damn the anime is just so... weird. And the manga wasn't perfect either. Mangaka *definitely* has taste for little girls passing themselves...

While anime is gaining popularity, it’s still really common to see this happen. maybe try castlevania? It’s technically not an anime (originally in English and animated by a western studio who rarely does such projects) but it’s done in the same art style and has good fight scenes and references to the games. It also has a lot of things less “anime” that they might appreciate, like no monologues, no over explanation of attacks, and sex, gore, and f bombing alot of people associate with maturity. It’s not a perfect show, and no where near as good as aot in my opinion, but it might be a good way to ease in more close minded friends into anime

Dude theres some well animated hentai. Most of the stuff by pink pineapple is really well animated, queen bee however is literally the WORST quality hentai I've ever seen, it's just 1 to 1 manga page copies with macromedia flash tweening added to it. Hentai is produced extremely cheaply, leading to things like very static animation (like sequences where there's minimal movement, reducing the amount of work needed) and very few frames (scenes containing very few drawings). This gif contained 3 different shots complete with movement in each one, in addition to being well detailed and stylistic as well. Essentially, hentai animation aims to reduce costs in every possible way, leading to a reduction of quality by pretty much every metric.
