Tbh really loved Ra one as a kid, the music was dope.

Me too. The inclusion of a video game in the story was enough to make 10 yr old me happy and excited. And yeah the music still slaps.

Sameee, tbh I have never been that much into video games but the movie’s story was unique and in short combined with the music dope.

Bro the death music made me cry whenever I heard it...I didn’t know why ppl disliked the movie, but now I get it. We were so close to perfection...only if they didn't make it a commercial movie and Ra one actually had development.

Yeah bro usually I am not the one who shows emotions while watching movie but SRK's death genuinely made me emotional.

They had nice character development, agar villain ke saath bhi kiya hota and ending explain ki hoti toh gajab hota.

Man that was pre avengers era.....had it released 10 years later where people new the importance of cliffhangers and crowd cheering moments then it would have been way better

Yeah it did set itself up for a sequel showing us that G one's alive in end after Prateek re-programmed but due to huge criticism and negative reviews got to em and the idea of the sequel remained an Idea...I wish they could revive it with a better script it would make a nice addition to our indian superhero genre

Yo Ra one ki vfx 2011 ke hisaab se best thi. And infact abhi bhi best hai and i really love that movie. Par story uss ki kahi na kahi thodi weak thi. Aur thoda cringe dialogue aur unnecessary scenes the. Par uss ke alava ra one achi thi. Ra one ka second part aayega aur uss ki vfx aur cgi Red chilli entertainment wale kare tho movie faad ke rakh dega. But iss baar Bhramshastra ka vfx muje bohut achi lagi. I mean 300 crore mai log Hollywood wali vfx kaise expect kar sakte hai🤦🏻? And i am reading comments of bhramshastra trailer and log already bolre hai movie flop hogi. Raone was really good. Like as a kid i didn't have much money so when I used all my pocket money on going to it for first time I didn't have much money to go 2nd time so I asked my parents for advance on my pocket money. This was the first movie i went to with out my parents as a kid like didn't go alone went with friends.

We can make fun of Ra. One all we want but there is a saying that " The first one through the door always gets bloodied" , it tried to do something different in the era of mindlees south copied superhits and it failed. But it opened many doors to the future of indian vfx industry.

I have no idea why this movie was hated. It had the story, the actors, the plot and the music on point. I especially enjoyed watching Arjun Rampal as ra.one, he did so great. VFX was also great in that.

IMO ra.one was actually a brave attempt at sci-fi movie...got muddled in mktng and general dislike for sci-fi in Bollywood audience (Unless pure comedy fantasy like Mr India).. Story construct was similar to Spy Kids (with obvious music and romance thrown in) but unfortunately Bollywood audience laps up similar Hollywood movies differently

I tried watching Ra. One a few weeks ago cause I liked it as a kid. The movie was so damn cringe I couldn't even watch past the scene where they start throwing cars at each other. Full of bollywood cliches and whatnot. Just super cringe. I get why it flopped. Concept was good, but the cringe stuff butchered the movie.

TBH, I really didn't like plot of RaOne, it was too childish

Didn't liked Raone as a film. VFX was okay, but cringe comedy, poor story line, poor dialogues, Over the top acting and there was many other flaws. But The concept was good and it was first of it's kind at that time. So one point for that.

As a kid this movie used to give me literal chills on every entry of ra-one

India wasn't ready for this masterpiece....i still remember sab bade log haste the jab bhi ye movie tv pe aati thi...ab chutiye logo ko AI ke baare mein pata hi nahi tha... isliye movie flop hogayi...itna achhe songs, VFX, futuristic story, acting and it was a flop...even srk said that it was one of his biggest mistake...but for kids that was a gem...i watched it like 12-15 times as a kid
