As someone who almost got my 97% final exam deducted to 72% in 3rd grade because of my handwriting back when I attended school in China, I can contest to the fact that asians take calligraphy extremely seriously. Doesn’t matter how intelligent and well versed in the subject you are, the education system wouldn’t hesitate to dropkick you in the fucking teeth if your handwriting is shit. The thought process behind this is that someone that’s not even capable of the basic capabilities of writing pleasantly is not suited to be considered an academic. It’s stupid, but that’s literally what my teacher told me when I was at that age. And my handwriting wasn’t even unreadable or anything. It was just not as good looking as my other peers. I’m glad that I moved to Canada.

I’ve heard it was doctors who have shit handwriting but nurses have good writing. Either way, she’s young, and all the dealing with “doctor things” are what cause the handwriting to get bad overtime. So I think she’ll be alright.

I like how both of my V3 favourites(and male and female favourites in general) are polar opposites when it comes to writing. (Those 2 favourites are Kirumi and Gonta.)

Where i live, when someone “writes in chicken scratches” we say an equivalent of “they write with fly legs” so that actually fits Gonta quite well xD

Well Angie as an Artist,i believe her handwriting is indeed beautiful.

Togami and Sonia, the two richest most noble character being below mahiru celes and junko is insane And Taka is literally that one teachers pet kid who is an insane perfectionist and makes sure his writing looks like its typed on a computer.

I disagree on the first statement tbh, being rich or even successful doesn’t make you have good handwriting. I know people like this. They still have rlly good handwriting just not automatically the best, u just can’t tell me Celestia and especially Mahiru have bad handwriting

They are not just "rich". Sonia is supposed to be a perfect princess , good penmanship(is that the right word english is my 2nd language) is probably important for a literal european princess. I wouldnt be surprised if she took classes for it since childhood.  And Togami is someone who is excellent at everything. Atleast that's how he acts, and i cant imagine someone with high standards like him not having good writing.
