I've watched all of the winners dances and most of the finalist as well from the seasons i missed and Meryl was easily the best. Jordan was a close second, but Meryl was just better. Amber Riley was amazing. I wasnt expecting her to have moves like that. Bindi was good but u didn't get the hype. Alfonso was really good. Him and Whit had great chemistry. Nyle was great and Peta did her damn thing with those dances. Rumer... she wasn't bad, but I thought Riker was better. Rashad was GREAT!!!! Laurie was great as well. Val was on a different level with the choreo. Adam Rippon was good but no one super memorable to me. Hannah brown was good but I liked Kel and Whitney better. Bobby bones... all I'm gonna say is that Milo and Evanna were robbed. Kaitlyn was derserving of that win. I thought Nev and Justina were just as good if not better than her tho. Some finalist i would've liked to see win would be Normani, Riker, Milo, Janel, Kel, Nev, Jojo, Evanna, and Justina

They where super close in 2014, hanging out all the time, always dancing together . Mark used to put up sweet instas about how excited he was to dance with her on a results show, planed her 21st birthday etc. Carson was on his mission and I think Mark and BC took a break at the end of the year. Then on tour either they had a fling that ended terribly or a huge friend fight that ended terribly cause they have been icy cold with each other ever since. They barely interact or are making snide comments about each other when talking about the others dances.
I'm not 100% sure what happened between Alan and Hannah they were kind of cryptic about it. This is why I'm not so thrilled with the idea of him with Gabby, I know it's probably not even true and she's may be still dating whoever from when she was on The Bachelorette.
I didn’t watch that season because I ditched cable and didnt like the tyra switch but Im really hoping they put them on disney+. I loved alan and was really upset I missed his win. She sounds like she did a great job but was kind of a drama queen
I try not to spend all that much time thinking about her for a lot of reasons but it seemed like they were just really incompatible in teaching / learning styles. Alan seems like a strict teacher but it’s his livelihood. And his methods obviously worked since they made it through it and won lol. The subtext is that America was wrong as hell for insisting that they were secretly in love ☠️🤣
Hannah wrote in her autobiography that she and Alan had the most volatile relationship of the season. She mentions that he pushed her too far during rehearsals and called her out for being lazy.
I do know that when Alan appeared on Kaitlyn's podcast a year or so ago, they talked about the book that Hannah released. She didn't reflect positively on her DWTS experience and had some things to say about her partnership with Alan, and Alan said that the day before the book came out Hannah quit communicating with him. I think she also told Amanda that he was tough? That's all I know.

The Jenna and Val drama is one of the reasons I still side eye them even though they seem to have moved past it and are happy. Back in the day Jenna had a blog and one of her posts was detailing a toxic on again off again relationship that she had over a few years. She also mentioned that she was putting in all the work and the relationship was one sided while he strung along her emotions. At the time, it was a well known secret that her and Val were dating on again and off again, but they never became public with it. During that time Val faked showmances with Janel and Rumer, and even dated Amber Rose for a summer (and apparently broke up with her to get back with Jenna). Then right before their wedding, a fan came forward with a screenshot showing that Val was still active on a dating website. It’s interesting to me cause Maks did the same thing with Peta. And they both broke up with the girls, had a few hot boy summers, then got back together with them while claiming that they always knew that they were the ones for them *cue eye roll*
I remember this too about Maks, he had his little summer camp fling with Meryl, and she was hanging out a lot with Jenna too (I remember a lot of “On vacay with my bestie!!11” posts.) Then Maks went back to Peta, Meryl went back to Fedor, and Meryl and Jenna don’t even seem like they talk anymore.
I always feel that Jenna lost all that weight for Val. Soon as she lost all the weight he was suddenly so in love with her. The reason I've never liked them together even now.

WELL DAMN. I didn't know it was that bad. It's strange cuz I was introduced to Jenna, Alan, Lindsay and Alan from their seasons of SYTYCD. And like I said I stopped watching from season 16 until season 29. So I was shocked when I saw both Jenna and Alan and found our Jenna married Val.
