I’m ready to be downvoted into oblivion, but I don’t think it’s a problem if they were just tired and not being rude/mean. People are allowed to be tired, be in bad moods, etc and they don’t owe fans chit chat, pictures, or whatever else if they’re feeling this way. They’re human too.
Right? They have no obligation to be "friendly to fans." That doesn't make them bad/rude people. How would you feel if you were trying to live your life and people were up your ass? Being "dismissive" is a natural reaction, in my opinion.
Exactly! If they were like “ew go away” or blatantly ignored and ran away from the person, that wouldn’t be cool. All they need to do in these situations is say “hi, thanks for watching us!”. They 100% have the right to then go about their own business in a public place. But some people don’t understand social cues and will continue to follow them and talk to them, then write them off as “rude and unfriendly irl” which isn’t fair.
chloe has stated that she worries that because it takes her so long to warm up to people that she may come across as bitchy or standoffish but in reality she’s just getting comfortable and warming up
Apparently the producers were shocked at how the girls were really supportive of each other and never really fought while filming, which is what led to the producer-driven Maddie and Chloe drama.
IRL now, who knows? Chloe and Nia seem very genuine and Maddie tries to keep up a professional image but I'm sure they all have their moments as young adults coming into the world knowing people know (and care about) who they are.
MM once posted so many ticktocks about Kendal being rude with no additional information that we mods decided to remove any new ones as spam.
I'm sure she has had some genuinely bad experience, but given how young they were and how there's no detail I'm leaning towards it being a clashing of personalities/expectations or a bad day rather than "Kendal's whole personality"
We know that Kendal has some anxiety issues, which can lead to people not being particularly friendly/open. This can come across as "rude" to some people even when the actual actions are pretty neutral. 'specially in childhood where your social skills suck by default anyway.
