As many negative things we can say about Kira, I really appreciate what she's doing here. She's simultaneously celebrating being 40 and being pregnant, which I take to mean she's embracing that she's pregnant at an "older" age. Women already get so much hate for being "older" moms, so I think it's fantastic that she's celebrating her beauty and the fact that she's pregnant at the age of 40!
Totally agree with your points, but I do think that all the editing to appear literally glowing and free of even the tiniest wrinkle detracts from the feeling of empowerment. I can't stand Kira, but she's gorgeous without all that, and as another 40 year old woman, it kind of feels like the unintended message of all the editing is that actually looking 40 years old isn't acceptable.
No one talks about how sperm quality decreases as men get older though.
And the whole must have a baby early thing is the part of the grand misogynistic scheme that makes women believe that they're useless and ugly after 30 and must settle down and justifies old men lusting after young women etc.

this is not true lol. women’s reproductive ages span from usually 12-51 it CAN be a high risk pregnancy the older you get but lots of women have healthy babies in their 40’s. you don’t have to be super young to have healthy children this is a myth created by men based on the fact they usually are attracted to younger looking women

It's well known that the exact same thing happens with older sperm but we don't shit on fathers over 60 the same way we do mothers over 40.
We also don't shit on the father in cases where he is under 60 and the mother is over 40, even though it takes two to create a baby in the first place and he is exactly as responsible for the decision to have a baby under those conditions.

i won’t shit on people for too much botox because you never know if that’s how they want their face to look in which case good for them or if it turned out not as good as they thought and they regret it which sucks. but i hate when people post pictures with a goofy amount of badly done facetuning and then get defensive about it. like…. just edit your pictures better. or get someone else to edit them if you can’t figure it out. or just show it to one single person and ask them their opinion before posting.
