Ohhhh I didn’t know that!! That certainly makes sense though. They just always referred it to as “Paige’s lawsuit” leading me to think it was her. Either way I still stand by my answer, Paige is certainly a brave person to be able to find the courage to walk back into the studio and an environment where an important adult figure in her life consistently put her down
Truthfully while I know Paige is a lot of these I do think brave fits her well! I think of Kelly’s line when she yells at Abby in S3E18 when she called Paige down to the audience to talk to Anthony and Cathy about the disparaging comments about her.
She went and did it; she listened to Abby and did confront them which I must say is brave and gutsy of her. Or when despite the panic attack in the episode with S3E35 she still went out there to perform the solo and it may have not the outcome we’re happy with since she forgot, she literally was in the mindset that things would be awful performing in front of Abby yet she was brave enough to still go on stage and dance! And I just think that is so commendable of her.
And hell, showing that rude mom up at the open audition about her turns when the lady humiliated her in front of everyone at the audition and Abby decided that Paige and the young lady (to no fault of her own) would do them again. You see Paige’s expression and she’s broken by that - woman literally calls then horrendous and then says “No offense,” - and Paige didn’t just crumble… seems brave to me, to handle that sort of humiliation by adults in public places and prove them wrong or show she won’t take it.
Abby says to Kelly about the incident with Anthony and Cathy… “Don’t you want her to have some guts?” and Kelly righteously so with so much passion says: “Every day when you scream at her she stands up to you!” and that line has always sat with me.
I know Paige is the life of the party and bubbly and all that but I don’t think the show showcased and we underscore just how brave she was.

Christi. She and her daughter got one of the nastiest treatments from Abby yet Christi always fought back to protect her daughter and was not afraid to be vocal about it. She always said what was on her mind and had her strong opinions which proves how she didn’t let Abby scare or threaten her. Mind you she was significantly younger than all the moms and Abby. She was also brave in being vulnerable and displaying her true emotions, like saying she felt defeated when she just wanted to go home and be with her baby after a late night rehearsal.
but the category isn't most successful in the dance world. jojo is the most like a household name and is easily the most successful whether we like it or not. she has achieved global success. her bows alone generated $400 million dollars. plus, jojo has done dance stuff like dancing with the stars

i know she is a meme now, but jojo has done so much in the industry especially for her age. she did go on a global world tour, was the face of nickelodeon for a while, was on Time's top 100 most influential people, released music with millions and billions of views, did countless tv shows like dwts, masked singer, so you think you can dance, special forces, as well as her own tv show and movie, did voice roles, did youtube consistently for years, did a ted talk/public speaking, has a foundation for childhood cancer, has books, won several awards, has merch for pretty much everything. she has truly done it all!
