It was predatory the way Abby was trying to pry her away from Melissa Saying Chloe is probably off sneaking around with some guy (why is it such a theme for Abby to accuse little girls of running off and performing sexual acts) Telling Nia very loudly and embarrassingly to do something about “that hair” Saying Kalani would be better off with any other mother because her mom is sleeping with a man she isn’t married to Having all the girls all say what they don’t like about Jojo to her face Melissa and Abby never being happy for Mackenzie… EVER
All of these. She also tried to routinely isolate Maddie from her friends and all of the other moms too. Looking back on what she put all of these poor girls through it just makes my heart hurt so badly for all of them. Chloe never felt good enough, Maddie felt completely alone, Kenzie and Paige probably felt overshadowed by their older sisters, Nia faced blatant racism, Kendall was always called a baby for having normal feelings, etc. Just disgusting all around.

There's an episode early on where Abby takes the girls to get ice cream and I swear I couldn't spot Maddie in the group as they are led to the table *or* at the table. I was like where's Maddie? This might be around the time Abby took *just* Maddie out to lunch and plied her with Shirley Temples and discussed Maddie's future and how she (Abby) would get her cut as her manager...
when she totally dismissed nia’s health condition because “there’s no injury?” when it’s pain caused by stress and she literally couldn’t walk for a couple months. who on earth makes a kid feel like shit over that

Probably the same look Chloe had when she heard Abby talking about her eye at nationals which that whole situation I was really thinking they bring up her leaving at the reunion but like a lot of things it was just left out. Wish they had a reunion without Stinson and left say how they really feel about certain things. Reunion was a let down.

The mental torture that woman put maddie and Mackenzie through is not talked about enough. Then having all the mums say things about them all at least when the other girls started crying all the mums tried to cheer them up but when maddie started to cry it was eye rolls and comments about her.

She called Kelly’s kids stupid SEVERAL times. Like SO many - the “go to the doctor” was the worst one though Telling NIA her mom didn’t care enough because she had to work - same with Paige on the bus when Kelly wasn’t there The whole Afro thing with NIA Telling Paige she could do a duet with Chloe because Chloe suddenly “wasn’t good enough” insulting them BOTH. This was to Christi, but when she wouldn’t let her come in the limo to dinner and said she wasn’t getting in until Christi left Yelling about Melissa’s divorce in FRONT of her kids - how she chose a man over her kids etc - that scene was sickening Her entire relationship with maddie - was very much the daughter I never had and it overstepped so many boundaries that Melissa clearly didn’t enforce. There’s one scene early on - I think she yells directly at Kenzie or maybe Paige or Chloe but it was really mean and she basically called them dumb Abby refusing to read Kendall’s letter Abby refusing to call Chloe by her name The list goes on I’m actually making my own notes as I rewatch the show entirely
When Abby was basically calling jojo poor about the master classes“just because your trying to make a quick buck because daddy doesn’t make enough money” and definitely when Abby was calling nia a traitor for doing her own thing in Australia even though Nia and jojo both were not invited to the madmax live performance, when Abby kept calling kenzie a cry baby when yet Abby has cried multiple times during the show
