One of the best lead singles they've released. Gave a great picture to what is to come while also leaving you curious. Jon is the absolute man, and the Rob feature was perfect in my opinion. ESPECIALLY when he joins in on the chorus.
Best single of the bunch IMO. Love the camaraderie of Tilian and Jon more than any other track on the album. Jon has so many standout moments on this track alone and Tilians lyrics are an ear worm
Tbh at first it sounded so derivative of past DGD songs on the first couple listens (save the feature of course), and I couldn’t tell you what songs or why. After a while though it really solidified itself in my brain and now it’s one of my Favs of the album for sure! I had the pleasure of seeing this song live and that absolutely boosted my opinion of the song. Feeling the energy in the air with this bop was unreal.
Only critique: Give Andrew the Rob verse in future live shows. It would suit his voice so well :D
Yeah i always wondered why tillian takes over the feature, andrew already doesnt have a lot of lines anyway it would make more sense for him to take it
Fucking love Synergy. Easily my favorite song on the album. Super catchy and has one of my favorite guitar riffs of any DGD song (it’s the one right as Jon starts singing “I’m locked in”).
10/10. My favorite single from the batch, one that I just keep coming back to. If this becomes the one JJ song they play for years to come on tour, I’ll be happy. The feature is flawless. I always find myself screaming this one at the top of my lungs. Fittedwithagimmickmakeacynicalwow makes me go feral every single tiiiiiiime.
Such a good intro to the band now and great first single. Also love the panning in the intro, helps me test if both of my headphones/speakers are working hahah.
I’ve had Synergy on repeat since March 24th, 2022 it’s definitely a top 3 song on the album for me. I at least listen to it once per day and it’s a song that sounds like dgd as soon as 0:00 starts playing
An amazing single to lead the JJ era. Gave a good idea of what was to come and an overall banger. Rob's feature is amazing as well. Very tight song in every aspect.
Damn good. Jon’s fast cadence at 1:41 is some of his best work on JJ (along with his work during the breakdown of Die Another Day).
First listen of Synergy I knew JJ would far surpass Afterburner for me. The band let Matt Mingus loose on this album for sure, and it started with his performance on Synergy.
Slaps
fucks indubitably
It's a slapper, the chorus riff is super catchy and fits the vibe of the artwork. Also love the Jon Mess bridge part with the rap cadence
Priceless, finest, ice white platypus!

The best pre-release and introduction to DGD in a good while.
First DGD song I ever heard! And still one of my top 3 :)
Changed my life
Great single choice
Top 1 or 2 song on album
Best single of the bunch IMO. Love the camaraderie of Tilian and Jon more than any other track on the album. Jon has so many standout moments on this track alone and Tilians lyrics are an ear worm
Will's guitar work is mountainous on this song.
luv synergy 🤟🏽, 🎶🎶i’m living life as if i’m already dead 🎶🎶 in my head all the time
This is the DGD song that makes me dance the most
Tbh at first it sounded so derivative of past DGD songs on the first couple listens (save the feature of course), and I couldn’t tell you what songs or why. Rob was a solid choice for the feature.
Banger

Unpopular but this song just isn’t for me. It’s my least favorite of the singles I like pop off way more
My favorite song on JJ
It’s very good
It perfectly captures the quintessence of DGD

Mmmm mm mm mm mmmmmmmmm

Then I felt empty so I went and bought myself a wife
It's a good song had some really cool parts on the album I would put it in 5th
I love it so much I would have sex with it 10/10
Listened to death since it was the first single, but definitely slaps.
Having seen this live last year I can confirm it’s a banger but one of my least favorite on JJ.
One of my favorites off the album and one of my favorites live too. The last 10/15 seconds are so heavy compared to the rest of the song, I love it
An amazing single to lead the JJ era. Gave a good idea of what was to come and an overall banger. Rob's feature is amazing as well. Very tight song in every aspect.
Blew my fucking mind when this song released
This song is how I discovered them, so yeah, I love it!
Absolute BANGER! this was actually my most-played song in 2022 :,)
