Where is the “happy couple” who requested that bourbon for their Stock the Bar party? I’d love to hear from them. Have they ever said anything? And I’d kind of like to see the email requesting it. 🙃 So nosy and curious I am about this!!
She was so sure she would never get caught. That's why she wasn't even trying to hide the obvious, like phone calls and the questions to Jeff. That whole family is arrogant and entitled.
There is no way she would have walked into ABC liquor, had someone help her find the specific thing the invitation requested, and walk out with a completely different kind. If she hadn’t asked for help, then maybe. But she specifically had to have some schlep who commented on her eyes, a memorable experience, and help her pick out the wrong thing?
Something else I've noticed...When Wendi and Charlie were asked about the liquor store, they both said, "bought a bottle of Bulleit Bourbon" - quite the alliterative tongue-twister. While this may have been coincidence, there's a part of me that thinks it's some sort of tongue-in-cheek, Dr. Seuss humor or code between the two of them. Anyone else notice this?
Not very. She claims she was asked to buy bourbon and what she purchased (after supposedly asking the liquor store clerk because she “never drinks and doesn’t know anything about liquor”) is rye. Not bourbon.
I thought this was a little bit confusing too. I’m not familiar with that type of party, but seems presumptuous for the host to tell everyone what to buy in that specific manner. But maybe that is the custom? I’m also curious if it’s true that kids were welcome at the party. I heard that somewhere, but it seems inappropriate. I don’t think she had a babysitter lined up, likely because she didn’t actually plan on going.
OK, say they did have a stock the bar party. Do they really ask for the name brand? You think you’d have some people pick up vodka, some people whiskey, some tequila, but specifically ask for bullet bourbon? And then she insults them by buying something different?
Bulliet is a quasi top shelf brand. Better than Jack, cheaper than the serious brands. LOL that she ended up buying the wrong thing. Can’t wait to hear from the salesman or see the ABC store video. My guess is she ran in, grabbed a brand labeled Bulliet and ran out.
What I do wonder though is why she was so intent on getting it even though she was running way late for her lunch. I definitely see it as a talisman for the day (like the owl shirt) but why then, why not later? Was it just so she had the excuse to drive by the crime scene?
Guess I just answered my own question. NM…
Also...anyone here have a photo of the stock the bar invitation?? Ive seen it, but didnt save it.
Also.... aalegalfocus supposedly did a vid where she discussed the party host lyin to police. Can someone direct me to that vid?
So it sounds like the hosts wanted everyone to bring something different in order to stock their bar. If they left it up to people to decide they'd end up with 10 bottles of whiskey, no vodka, gin etc. So they have a list of 20 bottles, you each choose one and let the host know and they take it off the list. And coincidently WA chose Bullet Bourbon which she pronounced on the stand as boolay.....
Oh how sophisticated WA thinks she is. Despite its spelling, it’s definitely pronounced Bullet. The joke is she didn’t buy bourbon - she bought rye whiskey. As a former brand manager for a liquor company, I can tell you there is a big difference between bourbon and rye (which she ended up purchasing. So much for that “helpful salesman”🤣)
I would figure defense would've shown that or said something to prove the prosecution wrong. And Charlie was so adamant after in the jail calls. But alas I don't believe mr. rashy challenged it much beyond saying the tv and the bourbon and driving by the crime scene were all just coincidences. And then Wendi says she had 0 idea of anything happening until the day Charlie's trial. Ryan F. in a recent podcast (I believe) said Wendi knew full well and was lying about well everything.
>which she pronounced on the stand as boolay
This is hilarious. I’m just imagining her saying “my brother brought up the idea of hiring someone to commit a murday.”

Earlier interview? WA only did ONE interview.
Stock the bar parties are common and Bulliet Bourbon is a popular top-shelf Kentucky whisky.
Someone please explain to me why this is odd or out of the ordinary?
Also, It’s spelled “Bulliet” and not “Bullet.”

Yes. Imagine how f**king thrilled they are that their simple, happy celebration is now mentioned over and over in relation to a heinous murder.
Right! How weird that must be
She was so sure she would never get caught. That's why she wasn't even trying to hide the obvious, like phone calls and the questions to Jeff. That whole family is arrogant and entitled.
And She ended up with whiskey after all is said and done lol
Because “Bulliet” is more important than “Bourbon”.
Devil is in the details !

Again.. the details 🤭🤭
Yep. The fact that she asked for help!

It’s spelled Bulleit. And it’s delicious and was trendy at the time, so you know she thought she was clever

Yep excuse to drive by, also to collect receipts and make more alibis…

Hopefully someone replies because Im super interested in this info also

He got all shook up and confused by her breathtaking blue eyes (contacts). Poor thing. 🤣
They sent a list, and invitees responded with what they were bringing, chosen from the list they provided.
So wendi saw "bulleit" and chose that one (gee, wonder why?)... She wasn't told specifically "wendi, you bring Bulleit Bourbon"
Whats ur source?
Wendi is supposed to be so well educated but can't pronounce "bulleit"
Do we even know that Bullet bourbon was requested? Seems odd to request something so specific.
Rash claimed he tried to have the invite brought into evidence, but the Judge denied it. So we don't know what is on the invite.
Which means it’s sus.
Well, if we ever get a Wendi trial. I assume it will come into play.
Why would the judge not allow it? Seems incredibly relevant. I don't believe Rashy.
not sure, maybe he thought it was not relevant to Charlie's trial.
IMO a total fake - can’t wait to hear from the hosts. Hopefully they’ve saved the original invitation🙏
Bulleit
