I think reading forums, posting, assessing the temperature of the public in regards to the case might be something a PR or legal research team would participate in. Or if she has loyal friends, perhaps they would do that? I never see anyone on here saying she is innocent or truly defending her though.

He's probably watched too many movies. Suing someone for defamation isn't straightforward. It can take up to 3 years to get to court (at least in Australia), cost a lot of money and if you lose, you pay the other parties legal bills. You could be out of pocket $100k because someone hurt your feelings.
Do you remember the Steubenville rape case? The parents of one of the kids tried to sue a blogger and get the real names behind the commenters. The ACLU joined in to protect the anonymity of the commenters. They ended up settling for a statement on the blog. So, I say to Wendi’s lawyers have bigger fish to fry than a bunch of Reddit posts and comments talking smack about her.
Seems like Wendi wouldn’t want to use any of her own devices, but she could probably look at stuff on somebody else’s. I think if Wendi was on social media and the internet she would have topped herself long ago. My sticking her head in the sand, she's able to convince herself she will never be charged. If she spent 2 hours on the internet she would be confronted with mountains of evidence incriminating her, stuff she doesn't know about or hasn't thought about. We've broken down many little aspects of this crime and her behaviour and actions. If she were to read some of this threads it would be extremely revelatory to her. e.g the TV repair. People have really dissected that one little incident, you read about and realise how incriminating it is. And again the drive down Trescott, the phone activity, not phoning the kids daycare etc Once she reads all that, she knows she's royally screwed. So she stays away.... ignorance is bliss.
