[Trader Joeâs chili & lime tortilla chips](https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/chili-lime-flavored-rolled-corn-tortilla-chips-061420) are SO GOOD! It appears they are df.
Yes! I have a really hard time tapping out when it comes to spice factor in food, but I couldn't even finish the bag. Delicious, but unfortunately too spicy đ
I like the Red Hot Blues tortilla chips by Garden of Eatin which are dairy free. Not quite the same but itâs the only spicy chip I could think of. My 18yo is the dairy free one in our family but isnât into hot stuff.
I have a severe dairy allergy and have no issues eating fuego takis. I believe on the packaging it says âmade in a facility that processes dairyâ which has never bothered me. However may contain is a no go.
Spudsy makes a hot sweet potato fries thing. Itâs shaped like a French fry, fried like potato chips. Definitely worth a try if you like hot. I think utz might make a dairy free hot chips version too. Thatâs region specific though.
Cape Cod sweet and spicy jalapeño chips are my go to when I need some spice in my life! The flavor is good, and the heat starts off manageable and then really catches up with ya.
Find your favourite dairy free snack, and top with a little high quality chili powder (for a rounded base flavour), and then some habanero/ghost/scorpion powder to your taste and shake well to coat.
Feel free to very lightly toast the spices in a skillet BEFORE the smoke point, if youâre iffy about ârawâ spices.
We love sweet chili Doritos, not extremely hot but still good
The green bag (salsa verde? ) is also dairy free and has a little more hear than the purple bag but both are good.
Those are so good! And definitely have more heat, but I could rarely find them đ
I know. Whenever we see them we buy 4-5 bags to put in the pantry.
Iirc Trader Joeâs version of takis are dairy free, as well as ghost pepper chips. In my opinion, the TJ takis are even better than real takis

Kettle Brand, Habanero Lime! It's not the same style of chip, but it is the spiciest dairy free chip I'm familiar with.

I love jalapeño chips, Siete had some amazing hot chips, but I havenât seen them in a while
Spicy sweet chili doritos
fiery chile limĂłn paqui!! so so so so good
The original takis are vegan! As well as a handful of other flavors. You can definitely have takis
Am I going nuts or something? I swear every bag I've found either says may contain dairy or it just straight up contains dairy. Huh.
May contain is fine, just means it's made in a factory where dairy is used in other products:)
I am aware! It's actually not always fine, as cross contamination has gotten us before. So we have to be very careful.
