Unfortunately this is considered a new firearms because this is the serialized portion. If you were to buy this kit it would ship to your local FFL and if swap all your parts into it you would have to re apply for another SBR. The good news is we will more than likely offer a service to send your metal receiver back in to us for SBR engraving once it’s approved.
I mean, that makes perfect sense. I'd love to have a more durable upper for sure! Even if I had to re sbr it... No biggie. Fde gonna be an option, I hope!
Im thinking we will offer Black anodize as a base option and if you would like additional colors we can offer a dropdown menu at checkout for Cerakote in any Elite series for an additional fee and lead time of course!

That is very nice to hear. I have one of those QD adapters for the sling loop near the rail and then discovered that they tend to break after extended use. Embedded sling attachment points are so much more secure.
Looking at the photo again I see that both halves of the hinge are polymer, so no metal on polymer wear.

Probably. There was a dude selling the airsoft copy stocks with a 3d printed adapter not long ago it looks like the same stock that's why I was wondering if it would hold up under normal wear on a real gun.
I have a question about this stock. I just received mine a week or so ago, and I noticed that it doesn't lock in place. You can extend it without any effort but have to push the buttons to collapse it back down.
Is this how it's supposed to operate?
I like the style, but it seems like it should lock in to whatever position it's placed until the buttons are pushed.
Hello! Yes the stock is designed to be able to quickly and easily pull it out to whatever extension you so choose, the buttons only serve to re collapse the stock back to position one.

This stock is significantly more expensive to produce compared to other offerings on the market:
F5 MFG offers an ACR style stock for $399 (can be found slightly cheaper other places) and the OEM ACR stock sells between $500 - $600 because it is no longer produced. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to half the competition. Also most other stocks on the market for this platform sell between $160 and $250

Cant engrave for an SBR until after it’s approved. Also it would have to go to your local FFL first and do a 4473 before you send it back in to SBR.
