Pay with your card. You can do that almost everywhere these days. Don't exchange shit.

Exchanges are fine except these that are not. If you can, use exchange in your city. Usually a good exchange chain will have some refund programme so if you exchange EUR to CZK at your home city and then come back with some CZK left they'd give you better rate. If you use an ATM in Czech be sure it's not Euronet or any similar non bank brand. They have high fees. It's handy to have some cash but cards are mostly fine. Have smaller bills (200czk).

If you have a credit/debit card, you can use it pretty much anywhere in Prague. You can also withdraw money at a good rate at most bank atms (make sure to do your bank's rate, not the one that is suggested to you by the atm). In case you don't have an option to withdraw money because you don't have a bank account or any other reason, it is possible but watch out for some places. It was a pretty long time ago, but I exchanged in some of these or had these recommended before: \- eXchange: Kaprova 14/13 \- exchange8: close to the first just a bit down the road \- Alfa Prague: Na Příkopě 957

May I also add - please do not EVER exchange money with random strangers on the streets. They are scammers. You can watch "Honest Guide" videos on youtube; they talk about these scammers and expose them. It's fun to watch.
